Nice video. I removed the wheels from mine to stop it moving around when I open the draws. I have it in a fixed spot next my desk so didn't need it to move anyway.
that's a great idea. for me I actually like that it is rolling because I put some stuff on top and I can roll it out under my table to grab. (still it would be nice to have something to stop the wheels.)
you mean the metal screws? it was the same for me, I think you need a big screwdriver or even an electric one, I had a small one and almost ruined my hand...
@@workingathome Right, what I did was slightly enlarge the narrow holes by placing a long screw in each of them and turning it using leverage. I don't think that even an electric or large screwdriver would have enough strength!
are you still using idasen desk? 🧐 is it dangerous to put a full cup of tea on the table in ca. 100 cm height position. or its realy enough sturdy-not_wobbling? and generally speaking do you work stand often or after a couple of weeks you get tired 🥸🤓of the attraction
Hy, Thank you for a great video, I am wondering what is the width of the "Hanging File Folders"? Why didn't you buy the IKEA SUMMERA file folder? Thank you!
hey thanks, you can buy any A4 hanging file folders... I guess I wanted more colorful ones but of course the IKEA SUMMERA should work fine I guess... but I do not need to buy everything at IKEA and I did not need so many so it was cheaper.
@@jeannine480 Hey if I remember right there is kind of a "hook" in the rear that you have put the drawers first if I remember correctly. Does it work now?
I’ve read somewhere that you can’t get the correct size sliders, even in IKEA. Due to the drawer not being UK size. It needs some sort of liner. Not worked it out yet?!
@@lizbradley3095 You mean the hanging file folders? Mine are working great, they are A4 size (link in the description). I would be surprised if the ones from Ikea don't fit as well. Just don't buy US size.
it should be possible, but maybe to remove the top is not so easy. Be careful esp. to put the runners for the drawers at the right position (i.e. use the right screw holes). This is easy to do wrong... (you can see in my video, I also talk about it in the beginning)

@@GaiGokuJin10 @Vince I say it in the beginning at 01:15. You really have to fit everything properly (inside the seam or groove or how to call it) or you will not be able to bend the small metal fins. Does this help? (I had this problem in the beginning, I did not fit the bottom plate properly and therfore I could not bend the fins...)

this drawer took me ages to build lol, but all the efforts worth it. Very sturdy and great looking
exactly, I am still very happy with it... congrats for the successful assembly 👍

Thanks for sharing file folders that fit.
In my unit, some holes were a little to small so I had to apply lot of force on the screws (I used the corresponding ones according to the manual)

Thanks for the video. Is there a trick to installing the drawers on the rails? Thanks

123502 screw's hole is too small. You need to partially screw it then have a hammer to enlarge the hole so that you can easily screw it!
I've built dozens of Ikea items, these drawers broke me
Only thing i dont understand is that the drawers sit lose or I don’t know how to lock them in place at least anymore know something
Came for the assembly, got an anxiety attack because of the cable management.
Nice video you could show a view on how it looks with the desktop below... I have the desktop and seems really small below?
which desk you have? I have the wide version... it takes some space but it is ok because I have the pc to the left of the desk stands
Went to put the drawers in and realized I had done something wrong. Is de-assembly possible?

It took me 40 minutes to assemble)))

Bro pls do cable management
bro I know, but I constantly swap my setup so it is difficult to settle 😁
Too fast to follow, no detail of how the black clips under the drawers attach to the runners?!!

I’m stuck at page 16. Bottom drawer, it doesnt clip together so you fold those fins?

Why is it so expensive?
