Your wrapping station is so pretty! Karen, you are such a classy lady and your home is beautiful and organized. As a buyer, its amazing to see the storage setup in basement and the extra level of care you take in storaging items. Extraordinary care and love in preserving your items for your buyers. Appreciate it.
Well said! I feel the same way. I have learned so much from Karen about everything, such as work ethic, organization skills, the list goes on and on... Rock Star Karen!!!😄😃🤗
Yes. She’s the role model I aspire to.
That is why she will WIN BIG!!!
YOU are a great friend to all of us and we love you. ❤️❤️🎆🦩🙏🏻🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
@@paraleezappa5882 Win what?
That’s my Santa! I can’t wait to get him and display him 🎅🏻❤️
he's so cute!! what a find.
Thanks so much Melissa! 💜
You made the perfect purchase with your home. Your basement is outstanding Karen!! It’s such a joy to watch your videos, thank you!
I am in awe of your basement 😍
Karen, I appreciate your thoroughness. I am getting primed up to be a reseller and I am anticipating on launching early to mid April. I want you to know that you have bolstered my confidence after viewing a couple dozen of your videos I realized that I know more than I knew I know -does that make sense because it did in my head! Blessings to you, your daughter & Roger too -he seems like a good egg-I am believing that the Lord will bless me with someone that compliments & completes me as well as he appears to do so for you!
I love how you teach, buy, sell and ship everything with such class. You’re always dressed nicely and your home is clean and attractively decorated. I really enjoy your videos.
How do you get all of your inventory processed, documented and listed? It would be so helpful to see the entire process from start to finish...including how you schedule and manage your day. Thank you.
i appreciate your videos Thankyou for taking the time to show the process 👍🏼
Thank you for doing a shipping video. I love them, but everyone has stopped doing them.
Love watching your older videos, love that your so clean.
Love the video, the basement picking, the shipping & the shopping, all of it. Thank you.
I really appreciate you showing us how and what you use to ship. The shipping has been a little intimidating so this really helps 😊
You’re packaging is wonderful. I sold on eBay for 20 years and like you, I sold all sorts of things. I sold an antique chandelier one… all glass and drop crystals. I live in Massachusetts and it went to Washington state! It was quite a challenge, but worked out fine. Never wanted to do that again. I love your organization and attention to detail. Merry Christmas!
I woke up early this AM for no particular reason. Made a cup of coffee and watched your video for today. Seeing all the items, processing items, listing items, storing items, packing items, I am totally exhausted. Think I will go lay down in a darkened room. lol
Too funny 😂
Keep us updated if your guitar hero and Santa blow mold arrived unbroken in the polymailer. I would have placed both in boxes…I have images of heavy boxes like 20 lb media Mail landing on those type of items. I enjoy packaging videos.
Ditto. I had one breakable break in transit this month. Anyway, she must get free paper & tape because she uses a lot.
@@Chicago48 and bubble wrap for clothes, expensive. Bubbles aren't cheap either. Lol. I recycle bubbles when I can I hate peanuts. Serious stuff I have FedEx pack for me. I have bike shop pack my bikes.
Guitar neck? Or sub sandwich? 😂
Thank you so much for sharing your shipping method. I love learning tips and processes from a true pro! You make it look so easy ❤️
Thank you for taping the ends of the folded over mailers. This helps alot at the post office from things getting caught in there!
I also tape the ends. Great video
Yes
You can also just fold over just the flap, leaving part of the bag empty. I receive a lot of packages closed that way, there doesn’t seem to be anything getting caught in a machine. It also gives the mailman an easy way to grab the packages LOL
Your coat is beautiful. Love watching all of your videos, I could listen to you all day, so calming.
I watched you pull my hands milk glass, how cool.
Love your wrapping room. We are about to move, and I get an eBay room! I’m beside myself!
i am the same, my children dont agree, and think i shouldnt work in addition to ss income, which isnt enuf, but ive always worked alot owning my own businesses, i enjoy what i do and hope to be able to continue take care and thank u for taking us along. Merry Christmas
Thanks so much for showing your shipping process. I can really see where I need to improve.
Hi Karen, the other day at the Goodwill, I ran into a young girl who was trying to look up comps. She told me she was trying to learn. He looked up Lavender Clothesline and was going to try and get some ideas from you! I find a lot of people do want to learn❤
Chrome Handle on the Guitar Hero body: before I bubble the body of the guitar I slip a piece of semirigid foam, like a few inches of pool noodle, under (or around) the Chrome Handle to provide it some support since it’s about the most easily damaged part on those guitars.
Those guitars fit very well into the 1097/1095 boxes, even those that don’t come apart. Faster and less packing in a box, too.
One of your best videos. Thank you for letting us spend time with you as your hunt for treasures.
I love stores like this. Thanks for bringing us along!!
I really enjoyed the antique store! I've never been to Pennsylvania. But I can imagine the gorgeous architecture and antique's.
I noticed the red reindeer landed in front of your fireplace. It looks so lovely in that space. Until you tire of it…right? The beauty of reselling. Keep for a bit, then have someone else enjoy it!🥰
Oh no… it’s listed! 😁👍
@@lavenderclothesline of course it is, lol!🥰😂😂
I love the sounds of wrapping!
I had to laugh about Roger ... he was like the bread crumbs leading the path so cute
Karen, I think that piece you said was a bell, is actually an old car horn. I may be wrong but it looks like it was a decorative type that may have been installed on the outside of a car or something, you like a model A or something. Thanks and Merry Christmas from Bob and Debbie your fellow resellers Olde Things New >
Long tall Single Glass: for breakable items, like the Single Glass, I find the Shoe Boxes a bit flimsy. So instead, I use 2 of the 7x7 size priority boxes (the #4) for an item bubble wrapped to that size/shape, slipping one over the other to get the height I want. Weighs about the same as the shoe box, once packed, but I think the boxes are a bit better made and you get the added benefit of a double cardboard layer over the mid-section area to better survive an impact.
Wow. So organized. Unlike a lot of us . Cheers
Thank you! I loved this video! It was informative and showed the reality of working in the ebay business.
Pennsylvania is antique heaven. I am in FLA..which some areas are better than others, but not like PA.
Good Morning Karen. Looking great. Thank you for taking me along with you and BTW, I have that same pitcher at 37:00 minute mark. Have a nice Sunday.
Loved watching your shipping techniques!
Loved the shipping video, thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas!
I have to laugh thinking someone may be watching their purchase getting packed 😂. Thank you or showing us your tips!
Love the over view of your packing.
And this vintage antique store looked like it would take a few days to see everything. Love it
I've done eBay, 10 years..100% feedback. Never had a neg. Thanks for your videos. The shipping aspect is awesome what you do. Serious.
I am now a Subscriber. I sell on EBay & Amazon and also work Full Time at the Bensalem USP processing facilty. We were so Backed up last year. This as you probably it was SO much better. Cheers 🥂
Thanks so much CJ! Welcome 💜
Always informative videos. Thank you for sharing. Have a Beautiful day everyone
Karen you r awesome your attitude about getting up so early and ready to put on your shoes and there u go running 🏃♀️ to be the first at goodwill you rock your channel is on my phone and my kids don’t know why do you watch that all I tell them because she has the best show I also now have my daughter hooked now we watch it together love your number 1 fan love 💕 you from Houston Texas
Liz!! Thanks so much!💜💜
Very cool watching you do all that, nice look behind the scenes
Thanks for showing shipping
LOVE ALL THE FIELD TRIPS! Your basement and your organization is so amazing! So impressed! Because I live in NW, I tape all the seams as I have delivery guys who leave stuff in wet grass by my gate even though I have a big plastic trash can w sign, for this reason, they'll skip it and leave outside can, and don't even bag it, sad to say... Treat yourself more often, you deserve it! I'm a firm believer in having it when the occasion arises! Go back and get your beaded purse.
Catching up on your videos. I really enjoyed watching the packing and shipping process. The last shop was spectacular! I loved hearing about the house that you grew up in also.
What a great learning video for me. Shipping!! Our favorite right! I see you use a whole lot of tissue paper and then the small bubble wrap. Cost effective. And wrapping it so much then using a poly mailer cuts down on shipping cost for the buyer because boxes are heavy. I’m going to change the way I ship some things. Thanks so much ❤️
I’m so envious of your house with the basement. I live in Florida - there are no basements. Nonetheless, I am patterning my storage and work processes after yours since it has worked so well for you. Of course there’s differences, but it’s good for me to have a template to follow, so to speak …
Great video thank you for sharing!
What a great antique mall. So many beautiful items. Thanks for sharing your shipping process. I’m slowly getting into shipping hard goods and it’s important to wrap them properly.
I can see where Mellissa got her organization from!!! Wow!! Very impressed!! ❤️❤️❤️😻😻😻
Karen, what a great setup you have for your shipping. I’m glad you don’t bother with items that are really not quality when you are shopping to sell. I always like to think would I like it. Would I buy it? I love your new items and I am certainly going to check out those Mongolian lamb pillows.
Thank you for taking me this lovely antique mall I so miss visiting the USA! One day soon, I hope!
That antique mall looked amazing!! Thanks for taking us along. Merry Christmas!
Very cool shopping in the antique and vintage shop in Morgantown. My husband and I were just there this week and I told him the next time we're driving through (we see a doctor in the area), I want to go to that Antique Market! We only had time to stop at the windmill bakery before heading back to Jersey. Maybe I'll see you thrifting sometime when we're next in the area! Also--the red reindeer looks fab in front of your hearth! I recently found your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed them! And you're right--lots of treasure in the Lancaster area for sure! Joy to you this Christmas season!
Excellent shipping video. Karen you have come so far and have this shipping down to a science. Glad you did this one, many have been asking. Great shop in Morgantown. God bless you
Love your black embroidered coat! So unusual. Was it a thrift find?
I wish my office looked that nice 😂 You really inspire me to try and more organized with my business.
Yay! Happy Holidays!
You're such an expert packer at this point and rightfully appreciated. Happy holidays!
That heavy iron “snail bell” is actually an old horn from an antique vehicle.
You are amazing and I love how organized you are with everything. It makes you efficient, orderly and know where everything is, you are not wasting time. Thanks for sharing....I love your channel. I really don't think many people realize how much time it takes with this job. Kudos your basement is awesome as are you!!!
The shell looking pc is a vintage car horn, I believe. Merry Christmas 🎄
Yep! I was thinking the same thing... car or truck -- some sort of vehicle horn.
My husband squirms like a 5 yr old after 5 minutes in any shopping situation…no fun at all! 🤨
Great setup and shipping station!!
It's very helpful to see how you pack your items. You are like the Energizer bunny. You don't stop.
I enjoyed your shelf pulling of your sold items.
Hi Karen! Love all your systems, your shipping station is awesome, it works so well! Cheers, Pat
Such an interesting video! 🥰
Great video Karen! I bought a belt from you last year and no kidding I use it everyday. Nice purchase, great transaction!!
thank you for doing this shipping vid
Super clean and well organized!
The lap blanket is stunning!!!
Love how organized you are! Great set up and beautiful home. I learn a lot from you. 😊
Happy Holidays from Texas to you and your family 🎄
Wonderful video Karen, you are such a hard worker! I was thinking of those handy mini puck lights when you were bending to find things on your bottom shelves. I put some under darker shelves in my storage room, and love them! Suddenly everything is much easier to see! Lol
Love your organizational system!
Great video again Karen, very informative. It’s been bothering me that the house dress didn’t get wrapped, did you forget that or just didn’t film it? I worry about these things! Lol❤️
You are so organized!! TY for the share❤️ oh that Antique store!!! Loved it!!
Morgantown! the hometown of my father's family.
35:51 😂 me too and guess what, I still do 😂😂. I have two of them 😊
Fun & informative video, Karen. Great to see how you ship items - you are a master at using tape:) That store is amazing, thanks for taking us along! I would love to vacation in PA just to thrift!♥
Thank you So much for sharing how you do things, I love when we get to see the inner workings of how you do things it helps me so much ❤️ Kayleigh
Great video Karen! Thank you for including shipping also! I hope you, Roger and your families have a very Merry Christmas!
Thanks for showing us how you ship. Very helpful. Merry Christmas!
You are brave..not boxing that guitar hero. Love your shipping station.
I always learn something useful from you. ty, Merry Christmas!
I'm surprised at how little bubble wrap you use! I overkill with the bubble wrap and still have pieces that get broken sometimes. Its so frustrating!
I always learn something when watching your videos. Thanks so much. I was wondering if you claim mileage on your taxes for when you go further to shop for items? (If you don’t mind my asking)
Thank you so much for sharing your shipping! Learned a lot 😃❤
Thank you for another great video Karen, Merry Christmas to you!
Awesome🌷🌷thank you
Thanks also for your ship video; the poly mailers and tissue wrap remind me of your daughter,
Mellissa style. But what about the labels, she prints and sticks them on right away, so no mix
up. Anyway Karen you seem very organized and packages get there. Thanks for another great year and have a nice Christmas with your family coming this year.
Wow! What an operation, amazing job!!! Just found you! I'm a thrifter for 25 years now (way before it was a trend). I've sold many things and always so fun finding and saving treasures!!! 👍
Snail Bell: looks like an old truck horn. Were there any remnants of an electric wire hanging out of the body. If so, it was likely run off a 12 volt battery.
Karen, could you make a video about where you buy your shipping supplies. For example, what size plastic bags do you keep many of your clothing items stored in? Boxes, bubble wrap, etc. Since you have been doing this for so long I am quite sure you have found the best quality at the most affordable prices. I would love to know! :)
A video is coming out today on this very subject! ( 1/5/22)
I never used tissue paper before starting to watch your videos shortly after you started and showed using the tissue paper. I just thought it was mainly used for clothes and I sell mostly hard goods but seeing you used it, I now use it all the time as well. I mostly get tissue paper and tape with my store subscription as well. Love watching your videos, I watch every one. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Me too! After watching Karen I started wrapping everything in tissue paper to protect the finish or the items packaging.
Excellent!!!!
I just found your channel and what an interesting video. As I have considered dabbling my foot in the pool of selling. I will say you may have changed my mind. It looks like a LOT of work. I love the shopping part, but I didn't consider all the other ends and outs that goes with it. I was surprised though that you don't have an inventory log of some sort in the computer that shows exactly where the item is on shelf and what bin. I watched another seller and he knew down to the aisle and the bin where his inventory was. I don't mean to sound pushy just was surprised about that, but whatever works for you. I'm going to veg out on your videos today. I'm enjoying them a lot. Happy New Year.
Thanks so much! Yes every reseller I know, uses a different system
