I appreciate how you treat everything you handle in the stores. You put it back on the shelves neatly and try your best not to damage. I am not a reseller, just a bargain hunter, and so many resellers just throw the goods around 😡. Appreciate how organized you are too!!
Roger seems to be more comfortable in front of the camera. 😊👍🏻
They make a nice looking couple ❤️
Yes, I agree, and they are very Happy…💕
As a singleton, the Santa Claus shaker can be used for powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, or even parmesan cheese. He has lots of uses and doesn't always need a mate to be functional.
Great video today!
i have sold the odd salt shaker as a christmas tree ornament, a colorgul ribbon through the openings, tie nicely, ull have an ornament that most likely no one else has.i lie your idea too.
People also use the singletons for hat pins, or appie sticks.
Another great video! I never get bored watching your videos.
It’s so nice to see more of Roger on camera🤗.. you guys are such a beautiful couple, love to see you together🤗💕🙏🏼
Very educational video. Tk you. I like learning about thrifting for myself. I could not, however, be a reseller. From what I see on RUclips this occupation requires all your time. Like the song says, "she works hard for the money". All the best with your sales.
Polish pottery is one of my absolute favorite things to find! Gorgeous!
The large green glass plate was depression glass and it would of glowed under a black light. Always a fast sale!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
At 18:22, the oval green dish is depression glass, in the Cherry Blossom pattern, and I think green is an uncommon color. So far I've only found pink. Thanks for the fun video!
The cake stand/chip dip is Polish Pottery and sells for about $150.00 on average. Lovely depression glass that you left behind. A great colour, print and shape. Think I would have taken that. It is very good. Bookends are really cute. Love the Eldrith pottery jug too. Nice store and everything nicely displayed.
I was coming here to say same thing about the Polish pottery piece. I love Polish pottery and have several pieces, but I have never seen this particular piece. Beautiful!
@@tkwilson4585 Its a great piece. Love Polish pottery also. Really great you can use it two ways.
Polish pottery Boleslawiec 🌺
Boleslawcu Polish Pottery, Karen. I always buy it when I see it, and it always sells in my Brick and Mortar Booth!
I believe the white dog figurine was a Pekingese. That Polish pottery piece was beautiful!
I always look forward to your videos. Fun, relaxing and informative.
You Rock Karen.💜
Your very lucky to find such a good thrift store with quality merchandise at such a low price 🎉
Karen, You are a wealth of knowledge. I learned so much, especially about the shoes. Thanks so much for sharing. Great finds as always.
I love looking at the new carts also. Thanks for taking us shopping with you! I don’t get out much anymore.
Love seeing the two of you together. When Roger showed that Polo Maroon shirt I thought that would look good on him. You both got a lot of great items. So much fun to watch, thank for sharing.
Your boyfriend is such a lovely Humble man, I can see why you are so smitten with him. So whens the wedding. Hahahha. Good on you, you are such an elegant lady and kept yourself looking really good for your age. I love your channel and all the learning about how to sell secondhand vintage.
Lots of unique gems in this store! I've never heard so many "hhhmm" "huh!" & "what's this!" (My guess, it's a hamster?!!?) 🥰 So fun Karen, I could shop with you all day, any day!!!💞
Very interesting, great tips on shoes and boots!!! Your a good teacher, thank u for all that u do for us!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
The boot/shoe info at the end was so informative & interesting. I never look at the shoes, maybe its time I should!
OMG how cute is Roger! You found a keeper in him.
Karen- great video! Appreciate all the info and enthusiasm that you share with us! ~Lu
The cat teapot! Is that a no go because it’s Avon? It’s so sweet!
When I was in grad school, a friend's SO was a potter and they gave me beautiful unsigned teapot the SO made. It's gorgeous! So many beautiful things at that store.
Oh my gosh, the cake plate/chip & dip piece is polish pottery & stunning! I am so glad you got it! There is a strong Collector’s market for Polish pottery and I’m sure you’ll do very well with it! You found soooooo many treasures this trip! Thank you for sharing. ❤️
RE: the tray you like at 2:22 with the Smart Living label -- that brand name is sold in Stop & Shop grocery stores. They have a good seasonal section all year round. They are only in NY, Nj and New England. Maybe you had them on Long Island?
My grandma had one of those bubbled hotplates. Definitely vintage, that was a good buy.
Hi Karen, the luncheon plates and cups are Norcrest Cascading Pine Cone, I think. 1950s or 1960s
Nice to see Roger on videos. I guess you have been dating for over a year now. You look so good Karen, hair makeup, wardrobe, nails. I enjoy shopping with you.
Hi Karen, last few videos have been great. I loved that white fish plate you didn't purchase today. There was actually a few things I liked but as always I learned a lot. God bless
Since you shop in your local thrift stores and spend thousands annually, a manager would be smart to lower the price of some items, if you explain why you believe their price is too high, in a respectful way, and have always been respectful to employees, and promoted their store, on your RUclips channel!
I really enjoy your channel, as your voice is comforting, and you teach others, the brands they may want to look for, and prices they could expect from goods they want to sell, if they want to dip their toe into the reseller market!
Looked like a unique vintage wooden egg cup above the precious moments figurine you picked up at 10:49. A man with black top with yellow dots.
I saw that also and was very intrigued by it and was wondering what it was 😉
I love this video! The squirrel bookends, the Polish pottery piece, the blow molds!, the boots galore! So much goodness❤
I enjoy watching your shopping trips, you are such a classy lady.
I bought one of those vintage ghost at a estate sale. Love it he goes up every Halloween.
The tea cups are 1920s so cool art deco😊
That white covered platter was indeed lovely. I think I’d buy that one just for myself. It’s so nice to have a lidded dish to keep the food warm…or at least warm for the first few minutes of your meal. You don’t see those large lidded dishes that often, especially that it wasn’t chipped or cracked. Oh, oh, I ❤️ that mini telephone. I thought I would see that it’s a pencil sharpener…so many little metal replicas are.
The blue and ivory cake plater could it be Pioneer Women!!!
I need the chihuahua clock. He looks like my chichi Papi that passed last December.
I grew up in North Wales. You’re not too far from the Goodwill bins and thrift store combo on 309. Thanks for sharing your thrifting fun with us.
Thrifting and dating at the same time! Yeah!
Hi Karen. I volunteer for a non profit organization. I don't resell I just buy for family and friends. I love the thrill of the hunt as a good bargain. At our shop we can buy a bag of clothesincluding tags for 5dollars
I like the sound of that ⭐️
You walked right by the two busts of the boy and girl where you put the three pigs down. I have had those before and sold them at a yard sale for $20/$25 each. I can't remember exactly. I sold $$400 to a lady who had recently bought an old Victorian house in Louisiana. I am in Florida. I had a lot of items because I also set up at flea markets. The lady bought vintage beaded handbags, lace items, all kinds of things. She was going to display and use the items for decorating this old house. I gave her a lot of great deals because we were both happy it was going to be enjoyed and appreciated. So anyways, those busts sell well. They may be a little newer, but any busts I I have ever bought sell fast and people will pay what you ask. I just wanted to mention that. Perhaps, you will look at them next time. Love your videos. Thank you
So many wonderful items! Great haul!
Love the store!
The cake platter you were having trouble identifying is Polish pottery. I've never known of a maker's name being associated with it.
I do the same at our local thrift store, I found sketchers boots for 19.99 well worn and they gave me 30% off, better then nothing.
Karen the store is about 3 miles from me. Liked the framed pictures. Very well finished. Love your vids.
The boot owner was probably a kinder teacher, I had all my shoes like that.
I love those little animal prints! So cute!
That green plater might glow with blacklight😊
Wow! What a great thrift store. I’d be dangerous in there.
@22:10 I love sweet these little demitasse cups also. A great look! Good find indeed.
Love All of Your Videos 🙌🏾💯
Google photos is how I look stuff up that’s unknown. It brings up everything on the Internet related to that and it would’ve possibly shown that bone china set
The miniature telephone was gorgeous...
Great items in the store today.
This was such a fun trip! Thanks for taking you along!
All 3 of us were so glad to meet you at FlipCon! Hope we get to see you there again next year! 💜💜💜
Hi Karen you got some good things today sending lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
Polish Pottery!!! I would pay $100 for that piece. I took a trip
To Poland just to buy Polish Pottery.
It’s listed in my ebay store 💜
Those Thorogood boots are tactical not motocross……….good find!
My daughter has that doll you grabbed at 11 minute marker. She has a bonnet. I’m not sure we still have the box but she’s on my little girls shelf in her room 😂
My Little Chihuahua Rocky said bye the Chihuahua clock
Look at Roger, so handsome. You two 😘
I would have got the chip/dip cake plate!!! Gorgeous
Great video! You found a lot of great stuff!
Really like your videos and you look so different in this video & when you are out in thrift stores. You look very nice and beautiful! Love your hair! Thank you for all the information!
nice..so relaxing...
2nd Ave thrift is the best! We have on close to Andrew’s Air Force base and I shop there all the time. On holiday weekends, they have a sale for 50% off everything in the store. They also have an app where you can join their buyers discounts and get to a certain amount you get a discount as well
I so love your videos and you and Roger make a stunning couple!❤️
Also I love the black sweater you were wearing when you did the haul!
I almost choked on my coffee when you said Kmart. Ours left like 15 years ago I have not seen one out west for many many years. Maybe that’s how old that little tree is but yes it is cute
Thanks Karen...wow great haul!!....while you were looking at all the figurines etc, I saw a couple of "Willow Tree" pieces (one looked like a mom and child, the other was past by a bit quickly) ......in my area they are very good sellers...did you notice them or was something wrong with them? Just curious.....Karen, I love watching your channel, you are so inspiring and I am getting into reselling because of you! Thanks so much for all you do to teach us, you have touched my life tremendously!! 😊❤️
I inherited my mom’s small Willow Tree collection & while they’re not really my style, I can appreciate them because she really loved them. I have never seen any reseller pick them up. They pass them over time & time again, so I just assumed that they didn’t have any resale value. It’s nice to know they are selling somewhere. Thank you for sharing.
Think you passed on Uranium glass, Pretty Collectable. 😊❤️🙏 But fabulous job today!! 😁
I have that Williamsburg pitcher you picked up. I saw you pick it up and I was like hey wait I think I have that and I looked to my right and there it was on my shelf lol
I was going to tell you about the Google image search. Glad you know about it 🙂
Or glasses!🌵🌵
The Thorogood boots aren’t motocross boots, they are tactical work boots. They are the best selling Large Tactical Thorogood 8" Waterproof Side Zip - Composite Toe tactical Boots called "The Deuce".
Looks like you may have been hacked.
Looks like you may have been hacked.
I can’t even count how many Fly London shoes that I own!!!
Lucky you - love them!
Most Dutch townswash the streets with wooden shoes on for their festival parades
Julie & Julia is a sweet movie! 🤭 See ya next time!
i would like the rooster dish
Thank you Karen, I love this video, as always you look Beautiful, and I always learn a lot from you…Hi Roger..take care…see you soon…🍁🍂🎃
The stickers at this thrift store look like Savers/Value Village. They have recently moved to self checkout as well. Great finds. Terrific video!
Some Goodwill stores I go to do work with you. It depends how you approach the person ❤️
Wooden shoe love to be Dutch? Get it? 😅
I’ve been watching a lot of your videos over the last few days as I have been laid up with my back. I was shocked to see I hadn’t subscribed as I was watching your videos all the time before and follow you on instagram. I took care of that issue immediately. I was a devoted longaberger basket collector for years and even paid the 400 plus dollars for their limited canister set which I gave to my daughter for Christmas. I am a little shocked at how low they sell them for in the thrift shops. Pampered Chef seems to be another one that fallen by the wayside. I purchased a lot of those pieces also but they were used frequently at least.
Those pigs are going for over 50 bucks on etsy new... love your videos. I like that you look at almost everything....not just one area
Love your videos! Have a great week!
That luncheon set, not marked was gorgeous wasn't it? Oh my. For some reason I am drawn to all luncheon sets. 😆 dky buy I do.
Maybe you can find a magnifying glass in that store.😅
Celebrating Home was an MLM. They are no longer in business. I LOVED their stuff. I still have a full set of dishes from them that I use daily.
Karen, tell us your thoughts on sales and the recession. Q4 is usually pretty good, but how has it been for you as a whole? Sales down? The same?
Still good! Although with RUclips being a second full time job for me, I don’t get quite as many listings on, but both are full time living income producing 💜
That was a Yolanda Bello doll. I had the whole series in the 90s. At one point they were very collectable. No idea if they still are
Bass weejeens sell very well. I’m a reseller. Sold a pr $35. Good find.
So wish that you had bought the glass dolphin it was quite beautiful and at that price how could you go wrong
Avon cat head only has a sold price $16.88. Might take a bit for the right buyer to come along - teapot has some varied sales too. 💕
i was thinking , pick it up, i do, facebook proly has an AVON GROUP OR 5 OR 6 and most u can post things for sale, someone either has the body or u can buy the body and resell. so many possibilities
Pimpernel placemats❤
Swan planters are a slow low dollar sale. I bought 2 for $1 at a yard sale. Little profit. Not worth time
Sad, but I use the studio bean pots for my pet remains. Fortunately, I only have a few, but the pots are a perfect size.
I have a friend that might want those LL Bean shoes. I'll have to see if they are listed in your store yet!
