As a body model for most of the Ogre units, you know who I'm rooting for! BIGGEST IN THE TRIBE!
It does make me happy anytime ogres do well. They are my favorite faction. I played them back in 8th edition Tabletop and they are the single faction I looked forward to most.

What's extra hilarious is that Greasus didn't even have his AoE ward save item, just his grease - then again, that turned out to be more than enough.
I have to wonder if there is some kind of unseen benefit to Greasus that we can't figure out but that Flying Taco has cracked. He wins so consistently with him against really good players.
@@MrNephthys17 Greasus is meant to be used as an anchor piece with his auras and stuff, and Taco was doing it really well. For instance, when his Firebellies are in danger, he can opt to fall back to Greasus to stand and fight. Note how the Grail Knights were absolutely crushed by that play ( 4:30 ). I don't think the Bretonian player saw that coming. All they basically did was take something like 3k hp off Greasus... And had to run, losing all of their morale and like 70% of their health.
A 1,5k gold elite cav unit in the hands of a very good player that wasn't able to goon and shut down mages, because Greasus was there. Talk about value.
@@MrNephthys17 he's good at being a point to retreat to in case things go bad, and because he's so shitty, nobody is going to try to snipe him because it's not worth it
I feel that there is quite a bit of hidden value with units and lords. Greasus may not be killing a ton of units and getting a ton of combat value, but just plopping him down on a point and allowing him to exert a zone of control being a heavy anti-large beatstick lord is valuable in it's own right. Brettonia committed to a huge push on the middle obj with their grail knights to try and take control and greasus just ate the charge and fought it off with his firebellies. If that's a generic butcher lord or tyrant, then he loses his lord.
Idk if he loses a tyrant. Tyrant has more armor and heals himself in melee, but less damage. The reason taco picked Greasus, though, is because his scepter lets him do magic damage, so if TB brought The Green Knight, each of his SEMs could fight it.
Ogre cavalry is nasty. Especially the anti-large AP ones. Mournfang or Crusher, they always seem to tear it up. The healing they can get makes them downright dastardly. Love them.
yeah I though I'm only one playing Ogres ... for Cavalary :D. But Crushers have such huge mass especially in campaign as Gresus almost like single entity monsters. So charges are VERY pleasant to watch and results equally satisfying.
Great to see this vid. I've been watching your COH vids and enjoying them, but I really like TTW3 and here are two of my favourite armies.

I see what you mean Turin. When the Ogres got the Triple Cap Bretonnia was 400g up in Value but had 11 vs 21 Units on the Battlefield.
It looks like Taco saw my 2023 wish of 23 Greasus games. I'm off to the shops to buy some delicious food to complement this game. Very excited.
Imagine if grail reliquae had anti-large attacks, costed 5 times as much and given half the leadership. It would've been so good it could've taken your lord slot as well, right?

i love both of these players so much, my favourite tournament of all time was when the true bretonian was spreading that dark elf butter for 3 games straight.

I think they really, REALLY, should give Greasus the Snacks ability because he lorewise is supposed to be carried by countless gnoblars. Maybe also give him magical attacks with that spell-imbued sceptre.
He does have magic attacks I think, agree with the other comment though.
He needs to be tougher, faster and generally more useful, at the moment he is a big potato who can’t do anything

been playing a bit of ogre kingdoms recently and i got to say, it feels awful being countered so hard as every faction just picks anti-large units. gnoblars help a bit but its not enough to make a decisive difference. I wish the ogres had more utility units such as the manticore which is a summonable for the slaughtermaster, devs should just make it part of the permanent roster i think that would help them quite a bit
It would be nice if the Sabretusks didn't count as large models and maybe if Gorgers did...somthing?

I was planning to head to the airport for my flight, but ogres.
Man I just wish there was a reason to use beast and heavens lores on Bretonnia, but healing is so strong that it feels like you are shooting yourself on the foot if you aren't taking a life caster. Wish heal caps used static numbers instead being scaled off HP, it's just way more value on the strong units to have 1.66 health bars than any buffs. Especially considering that unit health affects balance of power in land battles, but stat buffs do not.
Damn those leadbekchers did not enjoyed that fight, managing to be even more useless than Greasus himself.😂

I don’t play multiplayer, too sweaty for my taste. It is nice however to see these high level matches between two players.
Greasus is a rock but if your army can't hold him, he will sink you.
I cant understand what to Pick up in dominion, i only losing ,when I Pick chlap units I get wreck, when I buy elite units I get wreck so frustating to play MP in WH

They don't have a whole lot or ranged to work with. The raw power of grail knights is supposed to make up for this, as they are some of the most powerful mortal fighters, however CA is not often kind to factions that rely on mostly melee.

I don’t know if that KotR for Leadbelcher trade was good, if anything OK lost value there.

there is a mod that puts greasus on foot and hes way more useful, CA should just do that lol

Wow im surprised at how BAD Blessed trebuchet is against monstrous infantry. Direct hits were barely doing anything. Regular treb probably would have generated way more value
Ye not sure why they brought blessed variants considering i dont think ogres even have much physical resist.

It increases charge bonus and boosts mass which is calculated into impact damage.

This game is dead. The hype was so overdue. just like all the games that came out when this game did. Over a year and almost no new content. Yeah it took them six months to release all the previous content from TWW1 and 2 in Immortal Empires. and still no new content. Over 1 year and no major content to TWW3. Such a shame. TWW2 was the pinnacle. TWW3 is a joke that will be unsupported by 2025. Sad and such a shame. CA just killed there one and only franchise and there company.
I partially agree. Something weird is going on at CA. I still hold a grudge for them shutting down 3K out of the blue in the middle of it's DLC cycle. Sure, it might have been the LAST dlc, but just randomly announcing '3K II is now in the works, see you in a few years!' But on a WH note, I've definitely played it far less than I did II. A mix of lackluster solo campaign, delayed IE, barely any dlc, mods taking much longer to update, domination taking precedence, etc.

@@mc-pr3pp Immortal Empires does make it immeasurably better and now the modders have all the tool kits they had previously, so it is better now. It still has lackluster parts, but playing the updated SFO is honestly pretty damn good. Had a nail biting settlement defense as a random Shugengan against a full stack Lokhir and a mostly full stack support. Headcanoning it as Maio's daughter who was left in charge of eastern defense and held the line (ironically in City of the Shugengan).
