It's really wrong how we as allies have done nothing but cause Ukraine who were fighting strong to lose more ground and many lives that did not need to be, our leaders are not leading but playing their own games of chess at the expense of Ukrainian lives. This has to stop, we could have given everything Ukraine needs to win this war, our military know exactly what Ukraine requires and our government must start acting like real allies do and suck it up and start foing the right thing by Ukraine. If they cannot do that then we must call for new leadership. People and their lives matter
Well maybe u shouldn't be a little bit smarrter😂😂😂😂
Well said sir.
Need more Churchill type leaders ,instead we have a lot of indecision and delays…..
Very well said. Our political leaders ( US, UK and others in Europe) have been disgraceful.
@@daydays12 u r a very disgraceful place

It was done in error your majesty. Jeeeeezz
I am overjoyed that the US has finally passed the bill so that Ukraine can get some of the equipment and supplies needed to fight russia's war against them. I am also angry at the delays. Lives could have been saved if action had been taken more quickly. Thank goodness it is passed though. And, it sounds as though the items will be delivered quickly. 💛💙

yeah that will help the most corrupt county in the world. Bunch of crooks.
I’ve been very critical of the States since this hold up started, I’m just thankful that it’s now resolved. Let hope there is no hold up again.
The democratic world now KNOWS it’s CANNOT stop providing all the support Ukraine needs.
Slava Ukraine love from your friends in the UK 🇬🇧
Maybe u should be critical of ur own country and tge fact that ur just a toy the americans like to play with😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe worry about ur own country that has been destroyed because ur americas slave
The US deliberately left it too late. They are treacherous.... turn their back on their democratic ally and encourage Putin to be even more destructive. The vile USA has allowed Putin to be on the brink of a huge
breakthrough having already destroyed all the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine with the US's her ( doing nothing).
Western capitalists ( including Americans) have been making fortunes from breaking sanctions on Russia.
Getting the us aid package passed finally is great. If understood correctly, most of the equipment will come of the shelfs of US stockpiles. How does the army and Air Force place a value on existing equipment? Can they influence how much Ukraine gets by essentially giving them a bargain or by subtracting (depreciating) from the value of say artillery pieces or ammunition due to age, for example?
Depreciation is a factor, in the past, material was valued at repurchase prices but that was adjusted after a previous support bill.
Especially since it was bought and paid for years ago.
Unless Russia’s misinformation campaign and bots are better than advertised, the number of Americans I see commenting on blank checks, $60B going to Ukraine for mansions and yachts, money laundering
etc is mind boggling.
They’ve even got our own politicians spreading this nonsense.
Where are the misinformation police when all this crap permeates the comments sections of MSM posts?
@@darrinvaughan8992 This.. The last aid Ukr received from the US was due to re-examining the value of what had been sent previously.
So many think the US is handing cash or brand new equipment to Ukr when what they are mostly doing is clearing out old stock and spending their value on new, generating jobs and supporting their own defence industries in the process. It still costs money but it's more like domestic market support packages than foreign aid all the while supporting a modern, free democracy against a resurgence in the military ambitions of various dictators.

Agree, timing is not the best! Also, % of GDP is not even top ten. UK is no longer the leader…it was w/ storm shadow and tanks, but it’s lost its way. Afraid to mention this to not sound un-PC, but your prime minister and his wife and her family are friends of the current Indian prime minister who is an avid supporter of Russia…particularly in what he buys from and sends to Russia.
The current PM of the UK is answerable to Parliament and ultimately to the UK electorate.
The UK also has an independent free investigative Press that will unravel connections between 'friends'.
Take your conspirancy theory elsewhere because it has no resonance here ted
@@philipmain5701I agree, I don't think there's any connection. I do think it's strange why one would feel enticed to make friends with protofascist "Hindutva" hindu nationalists. India is throwing out NGOs like Amnesty International because Modi and his gang don't like criticism for example of their anti conversion laws that basically abolish freedom of religion in those 8 large states. There's also systematic toleration by police and authorities of violent mob attacks against Christian schools and hospitals. Since the BJP came to power, India has moved in the annual OpenDoors persecution index from an unremarkable 27th place to last year making it into the Top 10 for the first time, being rated a worse place for Christians to live than Saudi Arabia.
Also India isn't an avid supporter of Russia, they are using them for their own benefit with cheap oil etc.
Not ideal from a pro Ukr pov but it's not China/North Korea/Iran either.

Appropriately so.

The US and NATO need to step things up a bit and find ways to speed up the process. As soon as one package gets approved, they should be working on the next one. !!
There are more than 30 European countries that are next to Ukraine. Y’all need to step up, not everything is Americas fault lmfao
If the Democrats want to ensure they lose the executive and lose ground in the House, sure, start working on a "next one". lol. This one is already not popular with normal people, so if anyone pulls this again without there being a REAL threat to NATO, it'll be seeing approval ratings lower than income taxes
@@antilarge7860 All the NATO countries need to make contributions. The US probably has the best selection of weapons available but cash can ork too to buy .some weapons. The political nonsense going on in the US is outrageous but all the other countries have their own political issues that they need to work through quickly!! It has improved in the last several months but all te neighboring countries have the most to lose!
I believe that Ukraine's wish list is pretty well known so everyone needs to look at what they can potentially contribute and determine what it takes to make it happen. I find it interesting that the newest NATO countries have stepped up right away. Ukraine does an amazing job taking old kit and making it very useful. Everybody needs to look at the threat that Russia poses and look at upgrading their own defenses and look at what they can spare in the process of upgrading.
The main thing is that the subject is something that should always be on their agenda all the time. I think the politics is easier when they look at upgrading their own defense and offering anything being replaced or upgraded, available immediately to Ukraine. My point is to be constantly thinking ahead and not just holding back and then reacting to Ukraine;s desperation. The war has been going on for sometime and everyone should know that what is happening in Ukraine is just a precursor to what may threaten their own borders very soon.
@@antilarge7860 The US promises and doesn't deliver. It is a turncoat nation. Turns its back on allies. I no longer believe a word they say...sleazy and corrupt

So pootin is struggling against a weaker Ukraine so how would he be strong enough to take on Europe and Nato?
Paper tiger. Putin has exposed accidentally how weak Russia is with the exception of how many bodies they can sacrifice
If he’s struggling, why are the US and its NATO poodles sending tens of billions still? Why is France planning on sending troops to Odessa?
According to Colonel Douglas MacGregor, 600,000 Ukrainians have died. How many thousands more is enough for the US and its pathetic European poodles?

I need the details on the misunderstandings of the bill. It seems so important to understand with the MAGA people…where can I go to get the details?
As Zelinsky said they are giving their best sons and daughters to protect us. Good for them but I would not do it if the roles were reversed. We have foxes in our area and the understanding is that we leave each other alone. We might want to do that by not seeking to export our values.
2:30 I got that talking about geopolitics is much easier than reporting stories of killed Ukrainians, but please, don't make it sound like a score, especially giving it 2 minutes in an hour episode. Maybe it is better not to tell this at all when this does sound like sports news. I don't know.

So u guys r getting this equipment next year?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I presume the real reason for the slow assistance to Ukraine is the real fear on the part of EU countries in expecting the war to spread and therefore reserving as much weaponry as they can for each individual countries self defense . Ukraine us being used as a front line observation post and testing ground of Russian capabilities , strengths and weaknesses and the old nuclear sensitivity boundary.
