Classical Barbra for example, is made up of hundreds of different tracks put together, to produce the disc we buy. Okay, so we can do this now - but once we know that we can, it changes the way we feel about the integrity of what we're listening to.

I had never heard this song and it’s interesting to hear other versions on line. I was initially struck by how interesting the melody is and how abruptly it falls off with “without you“. My only complaint initially was the way she pronounces without you as “withouchew”. But it seems that that may have been rather intentional because various singers and other versions also do it. I find this one of the most interesting songs on the new album

not for nothing.... BUT why isn't she redoing these???? I know she cannot hit those real high notes anymore as she sings in a lower register BUT it would be wonderful to hear her interpretations NOW
I don’t agree. I think both are good. I think she can release material in vaults and sing new material. But frankly her voice is fading and I’m grateful for the release me albums. I’ll take anything I can get from those vaults
The problem is that material from 'the vaults' isn't authentic. She's altering the songs to make them sound better. Not good.
