Seriously I was so surprised how big it was I thought it was less than an inch which I guess is a good thing cos I disiplined myself to hit that size and I use umarex saa 7.5"
@@lukebuggey955 Are you shooting one-handed at 27 yards (25 meters)? And if you do, you have to keep your arm down at 45° and only raise it with the start signal. From there you have 4 seconds to shoot 5 targets (rapid fire men) or 3 seconds to shoot one target (sport pistol "duel" women). If you take more time, it's a lot easier. If you use both hands it's a lot easier. If you don't believe me, find a club that does ISSF shooting and try it. And by the way, there is only a centimeter in *reliable* hits between someone who can win a national championship and someone who can be world champion. The differences look miniscule, but it gets harder with every milimeter towards the bulls eye.
Well, the hit ring is actually slightly bigger (12.96 cm, it's at 1:06), but that is just the finals. You start with qualifiers where you shoot: 2 series of 8 seconds, then 2 series of 6, and then 2 series of 4 seconds. Repeat all 6 series. You shoot "points", the point rings are displayed at 1:03. Max point total: 600. Best 6 in the qualification move on to the finals, which is explained above.
Exactly, if I'm not wrong I think there's is an air pistol that can hold 5 pellets at once, but to be completely honest with you, it's not worth it. Instead, it's easier to buy a good air pistol and .22lr pistol, than buying a mid 5 pellets air pistol

It looks overextended but its not. You can´t overextend beacause of the elbow. The angle of the grip make it looks like they overextend it. But people are individuals so some can make it more straight. And also the eyes height above the shoulder and the length of your arm are factors that make it lokk like its overextended. The angle makes the recoil going more straight into the arm so it will be less recoil and it´s easier to take the next shoot. You shall always extend to maximum so the sights is the same distance from the eyes everytime you shoot.

In sport pistol and rapid fire pistol thay are using the .22LR round. Why the rapid fire is for men and sport pistol is for women is a mystery. Sport pistol is popular by men to but they don´t shoot it in international championships. But men have the centerfire pistol wich is the same as sport pistol but in caliber .30 to .38. But thats not olympic but you can win a world championship.
Ok, I'll sound a little bit sexist now, but that's a bad idea. Woman have their own rapid fire that is as hard as men's rapid fire + they have an accuracy centred round that is very similar to air pistol (smaller target with more recoil [i hate it tbh]). I think there was a time when woman could shoot rapid fire (men) and vice versa.

It's already hard enough to get good at rapid fire (men) and you might think that .22lr is easy to handle, but you need to remember that you're only allowed to use one hand and only 4 seconds to shot 5 times (and these shots must be accurate to even be in the finals)

You are aloud to shoot in any order you want. Easiest is going from left side then lefthanded.
