I had a picture of Cillian in my bedroom wall as a teenager (saw him on the wind that shakes the barley, got a major crush, watched all of the films he was in I could get my hands on). I'm in my late twenties now, and he looks as handsome as ever 🥰
I first saw him in Batman, I thought he was handsome but he still had that babyface. Then it really caught my eyes when he played Thomas Shelby and I started to look him up😂. He is sooo sexy in that role his hair, his eyes just a beautiful man. I recently watched The Delinquent season and it feels like he was much more than a role in a romantic drama, but again....so sexy in that one...also you can see in some scenes that he has freckles which just adds more uniqueness to his beauty. I think with passage of time he just became more masculine looking. And we thank the nature for giving us such a beautiful man❤.
I recall he’s said in a few interviews that he doesn’t have social media and keeps a private life. Paired up with him seeming to have confidence (and what I presume to also be good mental health),I can see why he would not have a lot of surgical procedures. I don’t know if we’re ever going to be in a reality where people can permanently change their eye color, but his blue eyes are distinct as well even though that’s not what this video is analyzing 😊
I'm not sure how much social media primarily has to do with it, it's more seeing your face on a gigantic screen for actors. Your appearance is your bread and butter. I'm sure that what people say about them is further down the list of priorities.
@@PrecociousFriandseeing your face in big screens can be negatively impacted if you dpend time in such platforms where anonymous losers would voice their opinion on every inch of your body .
He didn't know what a meme was until someone explained it to him mid-interview a while back. He doesn't understand nor care for social media but prefers to say he just doesn't have much time for it so as to not come off as pretentious toward the people who genuinely enjoy it. He is so striking aesthetically that it's almost jarring to see for the first time. Talented, hard working, random garage band member kid who happened to find fame with his side-gig of acting. Idk. He's simply beautiful as a whole - handsome, too; but mostly he's just beautiful.
I fell in love with him when ‘28 Days Later’ was released, and I’ve never looked back. He’s such a fantastic actor! At 57 years old myself, I personally hope he will continue to age as naturally as possible. I SO appreciate representation of chronological maturity in the movie industry. I used to be pleased with the part in my own hairline, until I underwent a recession for a Parasagittal Meningioma in 2015. Since that time, the part falls along the scar. My hair used to be incredibly thick, it was of note with my hairdresser. Since the surgery, my hair is MUCH thinner on top, not only along the scar, which is a given…but the top of my head in general. It bothers me, simply because it was never like this before. I dont know if it’s my age, or the surgery, or that I’m naturally red headed (strawberry blonde). I know several other natural redheads my age who also deal with thinning hair (women). Oh well, I dye it bright pink now anyway, because…if not now, when? 😉🤓💖 If I go bald, I’ll just tattoo a permanent head FULL of colorful flowers 🌸.
@@rasher331 I see I definitely need to edit my comment for clarity. I meant, “I” am 57, and I appreciate when actors allow us to see them age as we do 😉.
Love that, I think people who are strawberry blonde naturally look so good in bright pink. I had some problems with hair lose due to stress most likely and I started using a rosemary oil mask on my hair and it helped a lot in preventing fall and stimulating new growth. I was pulling clumps of hair out of my head, it was scary but I am so grateful for this product now. It could be something you could try if you are interested in possibly getting more thickness. If not of course thin hair can be beautiful too!
He's always had prominent cheekbones, he even said he put weight on for PB so when he played Oppenheimer he lost weight and they became more noticable , the close up shots they did of him you can see his features , he's just aged , no surgery needed or done.
He has one of those faces that got better with age. Even though he's had minimal work he's allowed himself to age. He started looking better in his 30s/40s. Sometimes volume loss compliments some faces, especially if you have good bone structure.
I think his brows lost color and lightened making them look higher and smaller. If he darkened them to original color I don't believe there would be a height difference.
Yes that and potentially his eyes drooped down more as he aged so he's compensating by moving his brows up probably unintentionally. I think in most photos where his face is relaxed you don't really see his brows are higher than before
Dude was talking about a eyebrow lift surgery and showed a picture of him smiling. Some people's eyebrows move up when they smile or laugh. ( Emilia Clarke as an example. ). What a ridiculous video.
I believe Mr. Cillian Murphy gets better looking and sexier with every year that passes. I think his good looks are 10% medical and 90% genetics. He's just one of those lucky few who truly get more handsome , the older he gets (without medical interference) Plus, he legit looks ten years younger than he is. He's won the gene pool lottery and it only gets better. Whatever he does or doesn't do.......... it's working
After watching Oppenheimer, I was so curious about whether of not Cillian had any plastic surgery, and I even searched for videos about it right after - and now here it is, from my favorite source! Thanks for making this. Always love hearing your thoughts.
He always reminded me of a boy I liked from 1st grade up till 8th. Bright blue eyes, full red lips, prominent cheekbones... Man can have it, ppl! I believe he's a natural
I'd be surprised if he's anything done. He has always looked incredible, but as he's aged - looks better than ever. His performance in Oppenheimer is one for the ages
He hasn't had surgery but his look has changed a lot since he lost weight for Oppenheimer on what was a starvation diet of 1 almond a day. Plus he smoked a lot for roles and quite a bit of sun damage. I think his weight loss meant her lost a good bit of facial volume and perhaps some collagen, it isn't easy to get that facial volume back at his age and so I think he will look older from now on. He has unique facial bone structure and looks a lot like his younger sister and he has an irish look in general. He also looks great from some angles but he has weaknesses in his appearance also so his side profile isn't as strong for example. I agree with other that his personality is not the sort of have cosmentic treatment. I think he probably does colour his hair for roles but seems to just let his hair look grey when he isn't filming so on the red carpet last month for example.
Can we just all agree that he is handsome, an amazing actor, and modest. He looks like he would come home from filming and cook dinner for his family ❤

The only thing I can say about Cillian Murphy is that with age you can see more sun damage to his skin. Using a good moisturiser and a sun screen could probably help. A slight brow lift is visible when you point it out but on the whole he didn’t really need much done. He is a very talented and charismatic guy. Aside from acting he also runs his radio show on the BBC radio. He has a massive knowledge of music, always plays some amazing and lesser known tunes.
He's great. It's refreshing to see an actor like Cillian lean in to aging- and gaining such character in his face. Helen Mirrin (sp) has worked with the interesting lines and features in her face to her benefit. She has gets lots of great gigs- because she's a powerhouse. Cillian is similar.
It's why he's such a great actor. His emotions have normal microexpressions. I get dissonance sometimes watching people with plastic surgery emote when parts of their face don't quite move with the right nuances. It's bizarre.
There's a great Irish movie called Interruption. You have Colin Farrell, Brian O'Byrne, and Cillian Murphy seated at a table, planning a bank robbery. Brian looks like a regular, normal guy, Cillian looks like an androgynous Greek statue, and Colin Farrell looks like you need a haz mat suit to shake his hand. Its a great movie and shows the range of Irish looks.
He got to his 40s so fast! This shows u, how fast time goes by! In 1998, I was 38, going on 39 & now, I'm 63 going on 64 in December. And the 90s, doesn't seem that long ago. But when u think abt the nbr of yrs, and how technology has changed, over time, it does make that decade seem archaic. Cillian Murphy, is still rather handsome, tho. A very good actor & I can't wait to see the movie Oppenheimer. I like history & I'm sure this movie, will be a good one. Thank u doctor👍🏽
Hi Gary, I'm just an idiot who works as an artist now, with a former chief of anesthesia dad. My educational background is a mix of hard science and fine arts, but I've spent a lot of time talking with docs and staring at old textbooks. I don't give a good bleep-damn whether Cillian Murphy has had plastics or not, but this is really great video for me in terms of looking at the minutiae of the face and skull. Thanks a million. I'll continue to watch.
Cillian Murphy is a consummate actor, an actor’s actor. It’s the character he plays that matters, not his eyebrows. Which means he does what an actor should do; disappears into his roles. He becomes Oppenheimer or Thomas Shelby. The only thing he can’t change is the intensity of those impossibly blue eyes.
Dr. L you didn’t mention appearance of cheek augmentation. Could it be due to extreme weight loss for the Oppenheimer role that caused his cheeks to look more prominent? Thank you for always posting interesting content, cautions and introducing those multi-syllable words to my vocabulary which I will immediately recognize during a National Spelling Bee competition.❤😂
I was always attracted to watching Cillian. He’s rather alluring with those huge baby blues. I agree with another commenter that he may not have even had any plastic surgery. In interviews, with his aversion to the spotlight, very private life with his wife & family and all, I can’t imagine he would bother with procedures to keep himself looking younger than he is. He sounds like the type of guy that values being “real” in all aspects of his life. And with his naturally strong and attractively shaped bones and features….and those eyes, 😍 as he grows older, he will only get that enviable look of men that age very well.
Bruce Springsteen is on tour and I was amazed at how good he looks for his age of almost 74. His wife Patti Scialfa as well. I did some research but there are only rumours about plastic surgery. Maybe you can cover him as he seems to avoid Botox. His lines on the forehead and between the eyes were visible. Would love to hear your professional opinion. 🙂
Wow he REALLY blew up if he's getting this kind of video! 😅 I personally dont think he had anything done because he doesn't seem to be the type to care about his looks even given his job. I followed his career off and in since Batman Begins. I think he just aged naturally and lost weight due to his roles and being naturally slim. But let me finish watching to see if I'm wrong. 😂 Edit:Seriously wondering why I haven't yet seen any videos on Dicaprio.
I don't think he's had anything done. He's much too humble to do that sort of thing. As for the browlift. Hogwash. I'm 46 and I've noticed my upper eyelids are lifting themselves, especially the right side. This could be due to the vitamin C serum I started using recently. I don't put anything else on my face. I also look a lot younger for my age due to genetics.
Same. I’m 45, and I’ve noticed this on me too. My eyelids were more hooded as a teen. Now my eyelids are fully exposed. I love it especially when doing eye makeup.
Well ladies...I'm the opposite...my eyelids are definitely more droopy...and eyeshadow is a pain as there is no room for it! I haven't studied my brows so can't tell you if they have gone up or down 😂...however eyeshadow is a waste of time for me now...😞
He is a naturally stunning looking man, with an intelligence that is refreshing and very attractive let alone those eyes. This is an advert for plastic surgery.
Cillian is busy with his personal life and with rendering qualitative acting performances. I doubt he ever thought of plastic surgery. He basically doesn't even use any phone apps and he does not have time or need for social media. To me, this is being a normal human being interested in truly valuable things in life.
Great looking guy then and now. Props to him for avoiding the scalpel, if indeed he hasn’t had any cosmetic surgery. Yes, those natural lips of his would make those Kardashian girls green with envy and a willingness to spend a fortune to maintain.
I think you are reviewing one of the most beautiful person we've seen in cinema lately so I find difficult to expect me to be able to achieve his "natural aging" glow naturally. With that said, I´m happy he has no work done in an industry where even the most symetrical people has a surgery messing with their face. For example, I´d love to know who was the one doing Elle Fanning's nose job. He/She must have a hell of a confidence in their skill.
I love his cheeks. I think they (cheek bones)stand out a bit more because he had a slightly chubby face when he was younger. You couldn't see them. He was still, and is one of the most beautiful men.
I feel like plastic surgery just isn’t something he would get due to his shyness and humbleness. He is freaking beautiful and does not need surgery. He’s so fine even the gray hair looks sexy. His acting is so good in Oppenheimer I turned to my mom when they are interrogating his character and said tommy Shelby would kill these mother effers lol. Great video I love watching your stuff it’s crazy the amount people spend on this just age gracefully and own it like cillian.
I don’t feel he’s the type to get any surgery done and just thought any changes were age and weight loss related. Must be those Irish genes keeping him young 😄😆
Wow it's a true science I used to think it was simple vanity but how you analyzed bone structure and hair growth. Also interesting to know the possible work he had done and the effect was flawless. Quite impressive and wish I could afford it😊
I watched Oppenheimer last week, I thought for a second maybe he had a bichectomy, then the scene where he is naked was in the screen and I was like "oh, it's just weight loss". He looks very good.
@@TheHilikus89 I can't remember it well because I was with my mom so I looked away 😂 but the torso was there (with Florence Pugh, a lot of controversy).

I'm 24 and starting to see gray hairs, so maybe there's a way to help my hair not to become all gray when I turn 30😂 and again, thank you, doctor!
@@rasher331I don’t believe it is true that hair dye changes pigment color from the inside if that’s what you mean. Dyeing hair definitely changes the pigment of the hair that’s already grown and dyed. Hair pigment from the inside will often fade naturally even before it turns gray. Gray hair is more about genetics than anything. I’ve read B vitamins can help keep your natural hair color longer but there’s no concrete evidence of it. I had darker hair when I was younger and darker eyebrows as well. That’s part of the natural color fading process.
Can do you a video on celebs (male/female) who had minimal surgery or no surgery at all? (Like I doubt the latter would be the case cz everyone has had some sort of procedures but itd be cool if there are few celebs who had none whatsoever) would love to see that
Loved him on Batman Begins as "Scarecrow" such a Great Actor! 🦇 I think his cheekbones being more hollow n him being more naturally skinny just make him seem older but at least he doesn't look like ur "Typical" plastic Hollywood actor. Aging Gracefully Handsome 💙
We ALL had baby faces when we were in our young 20s. You don't really lose it until your 30s. I would think a plastic surgeon would have taken that into account. If I posted a photo of me when I was 22 versus now, there would be a big difference. I'm not wrinkly or have many lines, but my face looks very different.
Can you analyze Benedict Cumberbatch? A friend swears he's had work done to emphasize his cheekbones, I'm pretty sure he hasn't. They weren't as prominent until he started losing the baby fat on his face. Plus, he has his dad's cheekbones, so ... will you settle this for us?
I don't think he's had work done, he doesn't seem the type. He has had to gain weight for Peaky Blinders and lost alot of weight for Oppenheimer and that will def change your face shape and features. Plus all these photos are at different angles and lighting. Cillians gorgeous no matter what
I'm shocked! While watching oppenheimer, I thought on his profile (especially on the right) he had significant pretragal skin bunching consistent with a facelift. would love to hear your thoughts
Yesss thank you for talking about this! I think he had a facelift like a decade ago and maybe more work more recently but his jawline and the skin around his ears has ALWAYS had me thinking face lift
Thought i was the only one who noticed the skin around his ears!! I was starting to feel crazy. Noticed it in peaky blinders and thought he must’ve had a facelift at some point.
He’s all natural, he was a vegetarian for years, his weight has been consistent, has never gained a lot of weight. He only lost extreme weight for Oppenheimer.
For who doesn't have time to watch or doesn't have time to waste: the only possible alteration is a brow lift at min 3:50. The rest of the video is only talk about how this actor aged naturally and the doc mentioning about some procedures which could be done, by him I suppose.

Surgically changing yr eye color already exist but it may come with complications like all surgeries
People can change their eye color with surgery now-a-days but is 100% not worth the risk of blindness

Idk. He's simply beautiful as a whole - handsome, too; but mostly he's just beautiful.
you got it !👌 Love him too !!💚💫
Actor adorable. Increíble.Diferente. Dudo que se haya hecho operaciones estéticas.
When asked in an interview about the Internet he said he's too old for all that - which of course he is not. Guess it's just not his cup of tea ☕
@@lorrainefranchi9105I know how he feels. I'm 44 and I feel too old for it too.
If I go bald, I’ll just tattoo a permanent head FULL of colorful flowers 🌸.
Hes 47 not 57 but I do think he wears a lot of makeup
@@rasher331 I see I definitely need to edit my comment for clarity. I meant, “I” am 57, and I appreciate when actors allow us to see them age as we do 😉.
@@momof3chis291 There was nothing wrong with your comment. You said it perfectly.
@@pattidipietro8631 💖
He’s such a unique looking man. And an excellent actor.
He has one of those faces that got better with age. Even though he's had minimal work he's allowed himself to age. He started looking better in his 30s/40s. Sometimes volume loss compliments some faces, especially if you have good bone structure.
Agree. We can see he looks more and more beautiful in Peaky Blinders as he ages through the six seasons
Ditto Princess of Wales, she just gets more beautiful❤
I don't think he's had any work
I think his brows lost color and lightened making them look higher and smaller. If he darkened them to original color I don't believe there would be a height difference.
Yep, I believe he's had zip work done at all !!
The denial people have because they like the idea of him being natural is kind of adorable. It's Hollywood. He's been tweaked.
Also with aging you can lose that fat between eyes and eyebrows that will make eyes look rounder and eyebrows higher
Actually no ! he was at his prime at late 20s, early 30s... he still looks amazing but he ain't in his prime
He looks odd and that's just the truth
@@covidwasaconI think he lost a great deal of weight for Oppenheimer, so that has affected his face...
this. Some men actually look more handsome older because their features have better balance. Younger they look kinda doughy and undefined.
I think he looks his age which is perfect
After watching Oppenheimer, I was so curious about whether of not Cillian had any plastic surgery, and I even searched for videos about it right after - and now here it is, from my favorite source! Thanks for making this. Always love hearing your thoughts.
He lost a lot of weight for that movie and that definitely has a huge impact on the face.
I think he probably does colour his hair for roles but seems to just let his hair look grey when he isn't filming so on the red carpet last month for example.
he didn't use real cigatettes

Can we just all agree that he is handsome, an amazing actor, and modest. He looks like he would come home from filming and cook dinner for his family ❤
Rumour has it, that is exactly what he does
Why do we all have to agree just to please you?

He keep getting better. This boy has been blessed. We have also been fortunate to have him-so pretty!
I mean i had zero idea that he was the guy in 28 days later for a long time and i literally watched the movie 😂😂 he's just aged very very well tbh
If you enjoyed the movie, the soundtrack is AMAZING!
It’s in my top 5 soundtracks of all time, and I’ve been around for a minute 😉.

@@SpaQueenRocks YESSSSSsssssss 💖💖💖!! The whole cd, start to finish is perfection. I bought the soundtrack when the film was still in theatres, and I worked at Borders bookstore. I just now checked again, and it seems you can’t find it new ANYWHERE, and you can only find two of the songs from the original soundtrack Apple Music 🤯.
I’m glad I take really good care of my cds 🤓.
Mirren is 78 & has had a lot of plastic surgery which she won't admit or deny-- ever a Russian at heart.
It's why he's such a great actor. His emotions have normal microexpressions. I get dissonance sometimes watching people with plastic surgery emote when parts of their face don't quite move with the right nuances. It's bizarre.
i’ve been waiting for an analysis on Cillian, simply to find out how to scientifically say “yea Cillian Murphy is a beautiful man”
There's a great Irish movie called Interruption.
Thanks for sharing 💚
That movie is called Intermission.
Can you do a video on Emily Blunt? She looked quite different in Oppenheimer. Curious what your analysis would be on her
Absolutely agree!!! At first I even didn't recognize her!!!
I think she's had some cheek work done as well as her front top teeth.
Thank you!! And to the actor too! Btw, we’re peers. Kind of cool to see someone who appreciates time passing by.
🆒
I think Cillian looks fantastic and I love his personality.
Cillian looks fantastic! I'd love to see an analysis of Jennifer Connelly, she is stunning!
Jennifer Conelly and Monica Belluci
Ome of the most beautiful creatures ever born
Has to be one of the most beautiful faces God ever made. Ethereal.
I can attest having met him in person in Dublin, he is as beautiful as person, as he is on the big screen.
Just the most staggeringly beautiful man. He’s going to be the Robert Redford of our generation. I hope he keeps letting himself age naturally.
He has aged like a fine wine.

Edit:Seriously wondering why I haven't yet seen any videos on Dicaprio.
I think it highly unlikely that cillian Murphy sought cosmetic procedures
having plastic surgery allegations is a compliment at this point. it means u made it and ur so beautiful ppl cant believe you were born like that
Always loved Cillian.
Love all your videos! Would love to see an analysis of Priyanka Chopra!
Cillian is busy with his personal life and with rendering qualitative acting performances. I doubt he ever thought of plastic surgery. He basically doesn't even use any phone apps and he does not have time or need for social media. To me, this is being a normal human being interested in truly valuable things in life.
Qualitative??? Lollll
❤CM looks, a natural handsome Irishman aging gracefully. Tommy Shelby does not entertain vanity. Best of both worlds youth and chiseled ❣️
Great looking guy then and now. Props to him for avoiding the scalpel, if indeed he hasn’t had any cosmetic surgery. Yes, those natural lips of his would make those Kardashian girls green with envy and a willingness to spend a fortune to maintain.
Since 28 Days Later, I’ve always been interested in his career. He’s not just a pretty face hes a great actor and apparently a vampire
He has unique features that makes him nice to look at.
It also helps that he has the most naturally pronounced and sculpted cheekbones, ever.
Quite impressive and wish I could afford it😊
He looks better now than at 22
I watched Oppenheimer last week, I thought for a second maybe he had a bichectomy, then the scene where he is naked was in the screen and I was like "oh, it's just weight loss". He looks very good.

i was wondering if you could talk a little more about gray hair and how to improve the natural process of pigmentation, maybe through diet. I'm 24 and starting to see gray hairs, so maybe there's a way to help my hair not to become all gray when I turn 30😂
and again, thank you, doctor!
I'm not 100% sure but i've been told that dying your hair can cause pigment damage and grey the hair sooner than if you didnt dye it.
Yes please I agree!!!
I've had gray hairs since I was 13, I'd also appreciate a video on this!
I would also appreciate a video on this. I’m 16, and find a few grey hairs every 2 months or so.

Hi from Vaszco i had trouble on Facebook well i am a big huge fan of Cillian Murphy ❤
I love his wrinkles ❤. Hope he keeps them.
He gives off "who cares" vibes, and I like it a lot. Great actor. Intense.
This man aged so beautifully exactly because he did not do interventions... or they were well done if he did.
I definitely don't think BC had "work". He's not the type.
I don't think he's had work done, he doesn't seem the type. He has had to gain weight for Peaky Blinders and lost alot of weight for Oppenheimer and that will def change your face shape and features. Plus all these photos are at different angles and lighting. Cillians gorgeous no matter what
