Removing the condenser & evaporator from the FD RX7

  • I diagnose an AC leak in the FD RX7 removing the evaporator and condenser with several challenges along the way.

    Do you have the name of the place where you are getting the condenser done at? I was thinking about doubling it up like you since the capacity if Fairley small on fds.

      Hello. The company name is Cool Flow in Houston off off interstate 290. John is the guy. He would need dimensions (HxW). Also, he would need to make new lines. This is a custom setup and the old lines would not work. He never got around to making mine and I finally gave up and put the old condenser back in. Hopefully you have better luck. Thanks.

      But it should lower the performance temp of a R134a converted system by 10 degrees compared to using the old R12 condenser.

      Hello, Low pressure port is located between the compressor and the evaporator. The high pressure port is located between the compressor and the condenser. Unfortunately, the placement of the lines is up to the manufacture and I find the ports in the most of odd places. Yeah for RUclips an infinite encyclopedia of useless and useful information. I actually put a piece together on this on the next video. Thanks for watching and asking the question.
