It looks like you have bushing or some spacers between the mount and transmission. What did you use there? These were not included in the kit. And I had a lot of trouble getting those bolts tight enough.
Everything I used was in the kit or already on the car brother
Just a bit of FYI. . I just got the same exact piece off of Ebay with the same lettering and all printed on it, for ....wait for it... 75 bucks plus tax. Installed with no issues, haven't test driven yet.
Breezy had you consider that AMT TRANS MOUNT? I INSTALL THE MOTOR MOUNTS BUT CONSIDERING THE AMT TRANS MOUNT, NOT SURE ABOUT THE 400.00 COST.
AMT makes some of the best parts brother, if your goal is to put the best and well engineered parts on car, AMT is one of those companies that provides it but at a cost premium. The HPI mounts works fine with no issues, but if AMT had the mount out when I did mine I would have ran theirs

Am I okay to do this mod and hold off awhile on the engine mounts and is it just as easy to install with the 4l60 trans? Awesome videos man keep up the good content 👍
It feels fine without the engine mounts brother, and you should be good autos and manuals use the same diff mount location

Thanks for this! I’m chasing down some wheel hop issues on an otherwise stock C5z. Did some bushings and a tune and it’s shaking/banging the back cradle around a lot now.

Looks like a good unit for my up and coming track car. Not something I'd use on my street cars though. BTW, whats up on the Coil Overs you got awhile back. Just curious.
Honestly its not bad for a street car just makes it feel more solid and shifter feel was improved but if they are just stock then yeah no point. And I want to track my car on the stock leafs to get a accurate comparrison before I swap to the coils. I want to keep it unbiased
What a great upgrade!...so cool they reached out to you...great price with the discount...I'm gonna check them out since they were good to you. I figured there would be a little vibration going to a stiffer bushing instead of the mushy rubber mount...it's a tradeoff.....Great video buddy.
Right! I was imppressed the added vibration really isnt that much to be honest and most people probably wouldnt really notice, but since my car has a healthy cam that added vibration from the drivetrain not being able to move as much was felt. And thanks for supporting 👍🏽, they also have injectors so I'll for sure be picking up a set in the future when I do more power upgrades

I kinda skipped through the video. But what did you end up doing with the 2 nuts that were to the diff bolts? Also thanks for the code. Made my decision a lot easier on which one to buy.

You can do it on the ground with a lift just will be a bit tricky!
