    No need to cut the hard rubber bushings on new brace people!! That's kind of stupid. Just score the empty side of the brake line clip!! No need to move brake line clip either.

    By far the best HPI vid out there, Why in the F&%$ dont they correct the bolt holes? I just bought one but drill out the holes is BS

      Thanks! Yea I have no idea, but I think I say it in the video you get what you pay for. Although perhaps no one has complained to them or the design was based on one car, the program written and forgotten haha.

    I would have said forget the brake line clips and adjusted the lines and harness to sit above that mount... because the next time you have to drop the driveline for a clutch change or anything you'll have to remove that mount because the brake lines need to come loose from the cradle and the axles have to come out to let the diff drop between the brake lines...

      Well, thanks for the advice. I guess I'll have to adjust them when the time comes. There are more than one way to skin the cat and arguably most people are not pulling the differential or torque tube themselves so this may be the route they choose to take. Thanks for watching!

    I'm not installing this POS after watching this, lol. It's going on ebay. I'll get the AMT one

      The AMT one is really nice. I don’t believe it was out yet when I did mine otherwise I would have done the same.

      It really depends on the road, most of it is cleared up for sure. I am doing coilovers next week hopefully eliminating it. Thanks for watching!

    Did you have lots of drivetrain vibration after installation?

    • @KennyChurchSpeed
      @KennyChurchSpeed  4 года назад

      Hi, Thanks for watching. The only time I really notice a major difference is on start up, and initial clutch engagement. Other than that, during normal driving and hard acceleration I haven't noticed too much more than stock. There is a change, bit it depends on how sensitive you are and how you expect the car to feel afterwards. I hope that helps.

    • @jacobrose5913
      @jacobrose5913 4 года назад

      Kenny Church okay thanks! I just installed the pfadt mount and I’m noticing a lot of vibration. Could I have bent the torque tube or something When lifting the diff up?

    • @KennyChurchSpeed
      @KennyChurchSpeed  4 года назад +2

      @@jacobrose5913 do you have solid engine mounts or are they stock? I don't think you could have damaged it, however the rear mount will translate other damaged or wearing components. Depending on the mileage of your car and torque tube inserts they may have been degrading. Also the pfadt mount may have a different durometer poly in it as well.

    • @jacobrose5913

      Kenny Church I have stock engine mounts and around 95k miles on my car

    • @KennyChurchSpeed
      @KennyChurchSpeed  4 года назад

      @@jacobrose5913 yea see, I only have 23k so you may be seeing some vibration from that as well. It's amazing what time does to rubber. My sway bar bushings were junk at 23k miles.
