One thing I hate about the Kishi Ultra (it could have been me) is the narrow rubber contact patches that hold the phone at the top and bottom. It felt like it could have been wider and made it feel much more solid, but I guess the idea was to leave a gap for the speakers. I am waiting on the G8+ to be shipped. Thanks for the video!
Biggest issue with the G8 is an issue where the analog sticks freeze. Multiple people have had this issue (mainly with the right analog stick) and there is no fix for it...
I have both, people talking about G8 being better, it may be better in terms of feel but the app sucks asssss. I am now looking to save up to buy the Razer just cause the app is so much better
Hey, thank you for the video comparison. What about the long time using scenario. For instance, when you play like 3 hours gaming with this devices. Do they feel comfortable or are you getting some kind of hand or arm pain? I believe ultra is more more comfortable but is it worth to pay it?
I normally don’t do 3 straight hours with work parenting and RUclips after 2 hours my hand feels fine with both. I’d imagine I would start to feel some cramping after 3 with the G8. The Ultra is more comfortable, but not worth it unless you find it on sale.
Another company makes the exact same controller as the g8 but in transparent black. Forgot name but you can just look up g8 transparent black. It’s a different brand
Have you updated the firmware? I had to revert back to the one before the latest, and then the charging worked. I have also read it doesn't work with every single phone
Ohh I see what you mean. Here’s what dimensions Razer says the controller supports “supported dimensions of 145.3 - 163.7 mm (Height) x 68.2-78.1 mm (Width) x 7.0 - 8.8 mm (Depth)”
Looking at the tech specs yes the G8+ supports 120-215mm and the iPad mini 6 width is 134.8 mm. Edit** The height is 195.4 mm I realized that I should be looking at the height of the iPad mini because the device will be horizontal when playing.
G8 can be modded to fit larger tablets, it wins by default.

G8 should be the default purchase. Ultra if you are made of money and don't mind paying more for the same experience.

From my past experience yes with heavy gameplay usage I’ve had PS Nintendo and the backbone experience drifting.
I like the look of the Ultra but there's nothing the Ultra has that the G8 doesn't so hopefully I can find one in black.
If you don’t mind Bluetooth and not having a headphone port you can get the G8+ in black.

i encountered a problem on my Gamesir G8 passthrough charging is not working after 4 days of purchase and i don't know how to fix it...
It might be best to reach out to GameSir for assistance since the controller is new. Might be a hardware failure.

I’m sure the phone will fit inside the Razer Kishi Ultra, unless the device is bigger than the iPad Mini 6.
The detail with the Honor Magic 5 Pro is the thickness, it measures 13.5 millimeters including the cameras.

I don’t think it will with the thickness being 13.5 mm and the maximum depth for the Razer being 8.8mm
