Can i connect this to my ps5 via remote play to use as an extra controller ? Say i have 3 ps5 controllers and 1 of these, would i be able to do split screen with 4 players (assuming this one is the main player 1)?
I have only tried this with two people. My partner is using the Gamesir g8+ and logged into my PS5 via Remote Play app on Macbook, and I logged into my own account locally (so that's two separate PSN logins). It worked fine on It Takes Two. In theory this should be fine with 3 local players and one remote player. You will have to be playing the same game though obviously, since the PS5 itself only runs one game at a time.
Yes it will work I do that too, but on iPad, remote play currently has a problem where it stutters every second. It’s smoother on iPhone, Mac and probably Android devices. The iPad issue is known but hasn’t been fixed.
I didn’t really feel it beyond the usual latency I would get from remote play being online. But some people might be more sensitive to it. I wouldn’t ever play games that need high twitch reactions on remote play anyway, like multiplayer stuff.
From the controller? I don’t think so, but you can do a screen record on your phone or iPad. If you want sound recording too, see if there is an iOS/iPad version of Claquette.
It’s pretty much the exact same diameter and feel of the dual sense sticks, but the resistance is like the Switch joycons; it’s very light. The dual sense resistance is my personal preference but after a while I do get used to the lighter resistance.
Whilst this is clamping it? No. But since it’s Bluetooth you can just lean your phone or use a phone stand of some kind, and use the G8+ like a normal controller.
I don’t think it will. Sorry but I don’t have it with me at the moment so I can’t check, but as you mentioned, PS5 games will require a PS5 controller so it’s not likely to work.
Hmm I don't have a legion go, but you can take off the controllers on your legion go and weigh them to see if they are similar to the the G8+ which is 314grams. Alternatively, put the legion go body on your scale, and add something that is 314grams. Then pick all of it up in your hands and see if that feels ok.
I'm quite sure the G8 Plus would work can you can charge it via the bottom USB. If you got the one with USBC, it might not align correctly? Don't take my word for that though I have not used the standard G8, I only have the G8 Plus, which will work with anything that supports a Bluetooth controller.
Sorry I don't have it with me to check right now. I've had a look on google and it seems that the answer is: It depends on what you're playing on the iOS. For example iOS PS4 remote play will have rumble and probably Apple Arcade too.
@ yeah I’ve been searching too and can’t find a straight answer. Weird to not have rumble considering it’s a selling point. My understanding is the G8 OG didn’t have rumble at all.
Well it definitely does have rumble because I tried it on my Nintendo Switch and it worked, so the motors are in there, but whether or not it works with iOS games will depend on the game and app.
It depends what you use the controller with. I use it with my iPad. I get the games from Apple Appstore, connect the controller to iPad and play that way.
Yes if you have Switch or PC it acts like a Bluetooth controller. If you have xbox or ps4/ps5 you can use the remote play apps and stream your console using your phone.
I don't play online competitive games with this unfortunately. I don't feel any latency with my Apple Arcade or Switch games offline. This might purely depend on your connection.
Great video
Thank you 🙏
Can use for pubgm without ban?
I don’t play pubg. Are there rules to say you can’t use a controller?
@VidVayder 3 party no possible
Where is the video to mod this for bigger tablets?
In the description. Expand it and you should see the link to another YT video.
Just gently pop it out and pull it a lil further 😉
@@VidVayder can't find the video
Click ‘read more’ in the description, the url to the youtube vid will be there :)
Galaxy tab s9 will it work?
I think so yes. Check out the video I linked in my description. The guy there talks about how to use it with bigger tablets.
Yes. I verified it fits with current S9.

If i play ps5. Games and remote play it to my ipad will it work as my controller?

@@VidVayder i see thank you so much! Will buy one later !
What if I remote my ps5 to my ipad mini will it work ?
Yes it will, but see my other reply to you.
kinda shame that cant connect with usb c, because bluotooth has higher latency right?? for remoteplay
I didn’t really feel it beyond the usual latency I would get from remote play being online. But some people might be more sensitive to it.

I have this as well but is there a way to record gameplay?

@@VidVayder thanks, i wish it was embedded in the app like scuf and backbone one, but at least theres a way

I don’t play pubg but what rules in the game would ban a controller?
does it has the same joystick diameter size as xbox/dualsense? or is it smaller?

Any solution on how to charge your phone while playing?
Whilst this is clamping it? No. But since it’s Bluetooth you can just lean your phone or use a phone stand of some kind, and use the G8+ like a normal controller.
I saw someone do this on another channel, but just buy a 90 degree usb-c adapter. Adds minimal width
Does it work for the ps5 controller. I know that it can connect via ds4 controller but some ps5 games require ps5 controllers not ps4.
I don’t think it will. Sorry but I don’t have it with me at the moment so I can’t check, but as you mentioned, PS5 games will require a PS5 controller so it’s not likely to work.
Oh thats very unfotante. I just got a g8 plus to😔. I wonder if the regular version will be able to since it has a type c port insted of bluetooth
@frostboy76 i got a g8plus for remote play thought it would work
@@TheBushey For PS Remote Play? It does work. I have used it on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook. I had my G8+ in PS4 mode.
Will it too heavy to combine with legion go?

No. It’s just for customising the controller.
