Have you updated the firmware? I had to revert back to the one before the latest, and then the charging worked. I have also read it doesn't work with every single phone

Looking at the tech specs yes the G8+ supports 120-215mm and the iPad mini 6 width is 134.8 mm. Edit** The height is 195.4 mm I realized that I should be looking at the height of the iPad mini because the device will be horizontal when playing.

I have been seeing a lot of videos on that controller it looks amazing I’ll try to grab that here in the future for a review

I think I understand but you may have an issue setting up the BackBone app to begin to use the any screen feature. From what I can remember since you have a lightning Backbone you will need an iPhone to go through the setup process on the Backbone app unless the company made software changes to the app. Honestly you might be better with just using a bluetooth controller with your iPad to avoid the subscription cost and potential setup issues. Can you explain what the Xbox controller is for as I am confused on how it's need for the backbone controller iPad set up.

Hello the lead joy would have issues where certain buttons would not work mainly L3 which allows you to run faster. The issue I believe is with Warzone not being optimized for different controllers because all the controllers are fine in other games.

@ibelveegaming I'm using a SAMSUNG GALAXY S20FE for gaming and retro stuff. I bought a series x controller, a USB C splitter for headphones simultaneous charging and listening (on account of its aging 4500mah battery!) and the Daijisho frontend, which after watching a tutorial, is absolutely fantastic. But cos I live Europe (Im English) our highend galaxy's DONT get Snapdragon CPUs like our American brothers and sisters. I mean it'll do cod mobile at max settings silky-smooth, but Netflix locked all the GTA Definitive Editions for Snapdragon only - which really sucks!! I liked your channel mate, I'm gonna stick around. Subbed.

@ibelveegaming PS, see what the S20FE costs where u are, for the money, I'd highly rec them - especially with a Snapdragon processor.

Thanks I’m glad you liked the list. The ranking was really focused on the controllers and not my phones limitations. I would give it a C tier if I were to go off of that because setting it up each time I wanted to play Warzone would suck.

@@ibelveegaming thanks man. If you look at the second picture on that product page, it says “no data transfer supported” so I’m thinking that may be part of the problem. There’s an identical looking one on Amazon, but if you’re sure that’s the specific one (you found that SKU it in your order history), then I’m almost sure this is why it didn’t work. I bought a true OTG with data version and am hoping that will work

Update I now have the adapter and for me this still works did a quick test on all controllers I own with a iPad 8Gen. Tested on GeForce Now and Sneaky Sasquatch

Anything thing with that supports the lighting port or Bluetooth. Here are a few that use lighting. Backbone Easy SMX M10 Razer Kishi V1 or V2 Gamesir X2

From my testing that didn’t work either.

The SMX does fall behind both Razer and backbone when it comes to build quality but it’s cheaper so it’s justifies it. I haven’t actually touched that model of the Leadjoy but if it’s the same as the one I reviewed in this video then I would saw the build feels closer to the backbone. If you plan on using PS remote play mostly then the Leadjoy is a no brainer as the buttons are PS buttons. Both are good options but the SMX does have a hollow feel but this could be intentional to reduce the weight over all. The lead joy is heavier and might be the heaviest out of the four you mentioned so consider that too.

Honestly the both have their strengths and weaknesses. So it’s kind of hard, like the SMX had better circular motion compared to the Leadjoy and but the Leadjoy doesn’t feel as cheap. I’m going to just say Leadjoy personally because I really don’t like the four main face buttons on the SMX

Yeah the GameSir X2 is usually on Amazon for less than 100 and currently my favorite has been the GameSir G8 Galileo. The X2 comes in USB-C and Lighting but the G8 is only USB-C both should be on this channel.

Yeah the Gameflex is another good one if you can find it below its original price. The style of controller is annoying to close, but other than that I've heard good things.
