One of the early missions to kill the gang leader it wouldn’t let me press the button to open the door but I found a way in and then there was a few glitches with the ghouls
Minor loot spoilers: If you follow the wastelanders questline and do the settlers quests up to a certain point you can get free plans for the Chinese stealth armour, which makes you invisible when crouched (even when moving), gives you the same rad and water disease protection as a hazmat suit, damage and energy resistance, and fall damage reduction (great with the marsupial mutation). The separate helmet also gives protection from airborne diseases. It’s a great bit of kit! It requires a fair bit of ballistic fibre to craft though (25+2 at level 50) which is hard to come by. One of the best places to find it is from military ammo bags and duct tape at Camp McClintock (check the wiki for locations). Turning off screen shake is a very underrated tip! I just left it on for the longest time. It never bothered me until I got in a huge chaotic area event battle one day. Grenades and rockets being fired from like 10 to 20 players and enemies all high level. Molotovs thrown in the mix and just chaos. I couldn't tell who or what or even where I was shooting. It was insane and the screen was going nuts. Luckily there was zero penalty for death because I died multiple times because I couldn't tell what was going on lol
At train stations: always check the donation box but also check the other containers in the area. I’ve found plenty of legendary items in trash cans and newspaper stands around train stations too
I wish I had known about the legenday script machine when I started playing a few months ago, I think that I threw away all legendary weapons and armor I didn't want until I reached like lvl 100 before I understood what that machine did😅

My husband got this game so we could play together. Sadly i have it on Xbox and he has it on PC but i have been his faithful wasteland guide thru so much ♡♡ he actually enjoys it but like EVERY game that lets us be packrats, carry weight is constantly an issue XD hes loving it at least As for a tip: Moonshine Jamboree can make you a disgusting amount of caps if you do it right with the Gulper Slurry. If you have the plan of course
Thank you so much man. I was playing fallout and got the notification for the event and got so many legendary items and I got some legendary items from two people
Been wanting to get back on 76 for a while and the TV show coming out was the kick I needed to do so...heavy gunner till level 80 now got a low HP automatic Railway Rifle build and absolutely loving it...nowhere near a complete build either only level 131...love the videos man keep up the good work 😁
it takes a little longer, but it's worth creating a new weapon if you craft a legendary and don't get what you want - you can turn in the crappy legendary for script and basically get a few of your modules back to try again
A tip that was a game changer to me was the info about Fallout 1st. Good to know I won't lose the stuff I put in the storages after Fallout 1st expires.
We really run off Brahmin milk and toxic goo. I run off purified water, and dog food. Stealth Commando is still OP full health or bloodied. Try using shadowed mods, it’ll up your damage overall outside of events, daily ops, expeditions where stealth generally doesn’t work. I only use diluted stimpacks. I generally sell or donate 90% of the stimpacks I get. Use weight reduction perks or backpack mods (sorry, you have to earn them, we can’t gift them) if the weight is an issue. It used to be you went Rifleman first, then Commando, but ammo is EVERYWHERE now.
You can be a bloodied tank. You need a full set of UY armor and the right perk cards and it's much easier after you've unlocked all the legendary perk card slots. I usually only carry 20 stims and 20 diluted stims and almost never run out.
@@angeldiaz7607 Problem is nobody drops stims, when im playing main missions. You have to farm EXPEDITIONS for them or craft. It just caught me off guard, when I realized that'll be another choir I'd have to maintain 🫠
The influx of players been amazing i just hooe they can keep the hype up and give players content to make them stay since the fallout series was a banger!
Even as a "High" level player I always seem to learn something from the "Tips & Tricks" videos from all of you FO76 content creators. I only wish we had an emoji for "Here is a Gift!" since the one that looks like a gift is for "Let's Trade" which is something I don't do after seeing multiple scammer videos...
When you get crafting legendary items (and congratulations, it’s such a great quality of life increase) be happy if the 1st star is the type you want. Your 2nd star being good is also cool, and forget about all 3 stars being perfect. You really need to use so many, hundreds, of legendary modules and cores for that.
I pre ordered 76 and played for a day before deciding the bugs just made it horrible and I got scammed out of my money. Recently picked it back up and am thrilled with the improvements! Now I cant wait to play everyday
I only recently came back to the game after the Fallout Tv series. I just hit lvl 60 last night. Managing the 1.2K storage is painful. But if your hoarding power armour, it's best to store it in chassis to reduce an entire set down to a weight of 10. I do plan to hand most of it in at the legendary exchange, but I can do it when I don't have time to play. So I can be in an out within a few minutes.
Great video! I'm one of the free trial folk and just got it in the sale after a few days of playing. One question I have is about Pacifist mode. On my Game Settings screen, it's not there at all. It goes Vibration and then the next option is Show Notification for Inactive Quest Started. Just thought I'd mention it - possibly because I'm still on the free trial?
It's on by default so it doesn't show up in your settings. However when you reach a certain level the setting becomes available and gives you the option to turn pacifist mode off.

Last night i was around the Wayward and had several new players ask me where to get Power Armor. I was trying to explain that the frames are found all over tge map but got lost in trying to explain how to get power Armor plans, mods, fusion cores, etc. Perhaps a future video about Power Armor tips would be useful.
First off, have fun, explore, and always double tap. I Invested in sneak, covert agent, and lightfoot along with a suppressed rifle/shotgun, was pretty ammo efficient early on. Your damage per shot is high, fire rate is low, and some could consider boring vs run and gunning with automatics unless you like to be the wind in the dark. Standing point blank with a suppressed combat shotgun behind a level 100 super mutant and capping it in 2-3 shots is fun to me anyways. 😎 Once you start using automatics you will want to do dailies ops or expeditions to farm ammo unless you are running a railway rifle. Railroad spikes are fairly cheap only needing steel to craft. Get more steel using the scrapper perk. Personally I have a crafting/selling profile and my combat profile so I can swap my perk cards to max my caps when selling(max charisma), highest luck/intelligence for better durability on weapons/armor, and if I am in White Spring looting containers have those perks enabled as well. Keep an eye out for high level players if you are at a station or vendor. We like to drop goodies for lower level players. Granted I am only in the 400s, not like Big W in the 8000s, but once you get in your hundreds a lot of the resource/caps bottlenecks are a lot easier to deal with and you will be able to concentrate on fewer issues to overcome. Don't be afraid to make multiple characters to explore different styles of play. I have even seen videos discourage picking the level 20 start as the perk card layout is not so great, enemies are going to be tougher while you are under geared, and you can accumulate more gear/resources by the time you level up to 20 from 2. 25 is when the fun really starts as you get to move special points around and create profiles. Level 50 you can start to invest into your gear as, so far, all gear tops out at level 50. So don't spend to much upgrading gear or roll legendaries until you hit level 50. Also setup your vendor, make sure your camp is public, and throw ammo and named junk(All-star basketball, unused anythings, clean anythings, and such) on it as players might come buy it for caps to build their camps. The new chessboard display from the "scoreboard" has made building camps spike up.
Great vid! Sent this to one of my friends, who want to start playing FO76. Hope he will join me, my other friends and everyone else enjoying 76 😄 welcome to all the new players!
This is great, I just started a couple of days ago with a friend and we are having a blast. Ill definitely be hitting up those events for the xp and I am just looking for a better melee weapon than my barbed bat. I had no idea there were so many collectrons, I got the puppy and he is amazing! Do you have any tips for obtaining better melee weapons or armor? Thanks again for the video
Most bizarre thing to me as a two month player is 5 seconds of a part of your video and I know the location. I have to go to that place with cement bags and lead weights to get them
Most wholesome fan community of a mmorpg these days, mlst of the hate is people who complained at the start and never ticuh the game again, after the 1st year most of the bugs and problems were resolved and now is really fun and the cooperative events are awesome For most people: join a public team, you dont have to interact with them, but it grant passive bonus, specially casual group, and there are perks and mutations that benefit from being in a public group too
Someone said in another video that you shouldn't buy modules until your're level 50 because they are level based. Is that true? Noob lvl 13 player here. Thanks for the very helpful video. I learned things I didnt know.
I played alot at launch and during the wastelanders / one wasteland updates on PS4 but havent played since. Started again last weekend on xbox with a fresh account. been having a great time. Pretty wild how different things are now, constantly improving and updating the game. Been great though, had to get the robot dog collectron cus the normal one wasnt in the shop? was that removed or do they just rotate items in the shop so its not too bloated? either way robo doggo is prolly cooler anyhow lol. couple useful tips here tho, so thanks!
Another tip I would add is if you don't know anything about a certain plan, do some research about it first. I started about a week ago, and I just bought a plan for an alien electro enforcer, learned it, then went to craft it and it's not there. It seems like this is because it was a seasonal thing and now it's no longer craftable. Spent 200 caps for nothing
Painted Railgun! 🤯 Please please tell me how. Where! 😭 I neeeeds it! Oh, a tip: Setoff the Miners mission ASAP to get that Extractor Armor! Click on the poster found right outside the place you bought those Legendary Mods. 👍
I just purchased Fallout 1st for the first time on the 5th of this month. Guess I'm getting ripped off, sounds about right! 😆 I've been using the events like Mothman Equinox to farm as many dropped items as possible to scrap or scrip and use the bonus the mothman gives to level up. Since Mothman started I went from level 42 to 78 and added over 1600 scrip. Also, my scrapbox is looking really healthy. One piece of advice I'd give is: be sure to upgrade your armor. I let this go, focusing on weapons and base building and as I got over level 50 I started getting absolutely hammered by more advanced enemies. Anything that you can deep pocket mod is good, but the BOS armor is what I would go after. BTW, no work bench in the survival tent. Just a scrap box, stash box, sleeping bag and a banjo.
kinda funny one thing i noticed i cant find people high enough level to help with events haha the number of lvl 1 and 20's outweighs the number of 100 up. definitely adds more challenge again lol
Same, we didn’t have enough players for Eviction Notice which was a shame cuz that particular instance spawned NINE Legendary Super Mutants. Hopefully they start learning events are fun soon.
@@somekindadragon3414 i've never seen that one os there a schedule of events? I've done a bunch of protect the drills from mole people, protect the robots from mole people and escape the mine, protect people from glowing ones, but never super mutant events
@@oliverong3753 it’s in the Savage Divide. It might not pop up for you unless you’re level 50, I’m not sure. It is rare to spawn I think, most days I don’t see it. It’s called Eviction Notice, and I don’t think players can influence it like they can the Imposter Sheepsquatch, or Nuke events like Scorched Earth. Btw when those pop up, just do them, except the one in the Savage Divide, cuz that’s limited to 8 players and is hard, but show up to Scorched Earth and the rest.
Just hit level 200 after 700 hours of time in game. WesTek runs help a lot but my ADD keeps me from grinding too long lol. Different vids on resource farming have helped a lot. What are your go to routes to collect resources to craft say XP buffs, nuka grenades, etc? do you craft these things in bulk?
Old but new player here. I dropped the game at lvl 9 at release. I'm so lost in the sauce and confused lol... I'm wearing a power armor that's missing the actual plating.... very odd.. And I don't appear to have any major objectives either. If I drop stuff at a C.A.M.P site, can other players come and take it?? Also, if i build in the solo 1st world, will that place translate to the regular open world? I'm looking to jump back in now that the world seems more alive than when I first started.
You're wearing a power armor chassis. The chassis, without armor pieces, boosts strength to 11 (IF you're naturally lower), has higher resistances than most early game armors and eliminates fall damage. You need a fusion core to get into one but you can continue to slow walk after the core is dead.
Your last active C.A.M.P. will load when you spawn in to a private and public server (if it's not blocked by someone else's). So, yes, time spent building in private is not wasted.
What you build in the 1st world will translate to the Open world. Your experience gained also follows you into the Open World. If you just "Drop" stuff other players can and will pick it up because they will think you are giving it to them. I do this all the time for low level players. The trick is getting them to trust that I am helping them, not hunting them. To keep your materials deposit junk in the Scrap Box and the other items in the Stash Box; other players cannot remove your items from either of those boxes.
The game is seriously great. If you don't have friends to play with then yes go play another fallout but it is far better than the general opinion now. Bethesda screwed the pooch and released it rough but since then they've spent half a decade making the game a really solid open world multiplayer game
Newer player here, picked up the game for 8 bucks on STEAM, I refunded it a couple years ago but after watching the Prime video series (30 day free trial), I reinstalled Fallout 4 for the 100th time started playing it but got bored (finished it once, modded the crap out of it too many times to count), decided to give Fallout 76 a look to see where it was at in the scheme of things as it were, saw how cheap it was, the latest good reviews it had received and that insanely cheap price....lol, yeah, been playing it for the past week. I'm enjoying it, the only problems I've had is getting used to the perk card system, the low carry weight, the lack of caps and the inability to sell all the crap I pick up for caps. Then there's the low level player (level 20 can't imagine starting at level 1), scarcity of adhesive being detrimental to repairing my favorite go to weapons. Started with a Commando build at level 20 (glad I didn't have to start at level 1), played that build for 3 days but it was sort of frustrating, started getting low on ammo and caps even though I started with 400 to 500 rounds for my automatic rifle, progression was slow, every encounter just burned through ammunition so I made a new character with most of my points in Strength (slugger), and some of the lessons I had learned from playing the Commando build, and it's been a lot easier with a bladed bat just knocking the crap out of everything I run into. Started that character last night, my perception and endurance are at 1 I believe? Got my strength up to 10 which allows me to carry about 250 lbs or so? With all the weapons I like to carry to fill up the favorites weapon wheel, the chems, food, ammo, armor, after dumping all my mats in my C.A.M.P. and selling what I don't want or need, my average carry weight with what I consider 'essentials' for adventuring is about 145 lbs meaning I can pick up 95 lbs before I get overencumbered and it starts screwing with my action points. These few issues about the game really are frustrating to overcome but I'm working on it. It's hard not to be a hoarder in this game. Earning caps seems to be easier at a higher level when you can just build a business for newer players to buy what you sell. (I picked up ammo really cheap from a player ran store which was awesome because the vendors and the vending machines are thieves.) Another thing that sucks when you're low on caps, you can't fast travel or move your camp to another location. I've seen in another video that events are a great way to make caps, so I'm going to try that out today. See how it goes for me. Vendors are borked and so are player stores where you can only buy. It's by design, obviously. Otherwise making caps would be as easy as collecting mats and just selling them, which would be great in my opinion. But then Bethesda has hoops for us to jump through that they call 'content' and that would make a lot of their cash shop convenience items irrelevant. They are the gatekeepers of the illusion that is Fallout so we have to play by their rules. Once you can wrap your head around that concept and accept it, it's easier to enjoy the game on it's terms. It's not ideal but it's easier. I love the combat.

It was insane and the screen was going nuts. Luckily there was zero penalty for death because I died multiple times because I couldn't tell what was going on lol
New to Fallout 76 (coming from New World), great guides! thx
Welcome aboard!
welcome 😊
Coming back to 76 after playing at launch. Your guides have been helpful. Thanks dude!
Very happy to help buddy, and thanks for watching :)
As a pretty new player your videos have been very helpful so far! Great stuff :)
Glad to hear it!
been playing since launch and this still helped me with a few things never knew that fountain existed
I thought that was a good one to put in there lol. Glad I could help
Thank you for guiding the Low Levels 🙏
Lets guide them together! Comment a tip or trick you learned that changed things for you!
At train stations: always check the donation box but also check the other containers in the area. I’ve found plenty of legendary items in trash cans and newspaper stands around train stations too
I wish I had known about the legenday script machine when I started playing a few months ago, I think that I threw away all legendary weapons and armor I didn't want until I reached like lvl 100 before I understood what that machine did😅
It's a learning curve buddy, you got this 💪
I’m lvl 90 and didn’t know about the legendary script thing thank you
Very happy to help ;)
Thank you so much man I really appreciate it. I’m sorta new to the game. I’m level 69 and only been playing for about 2 weeks and been grinding. You’re a big help. W to you man 😊
Haven’t played fallout 76 for almost 3 years now. But my kid is old enough for the blood and gore now 😂 thanks for sharing tips and tricks for him (really me) to learn
My husband got this game so we could play together. Sadly i have it on Xbox and he has it on PC but i have been his faithful wasteland guide thru so much ♡♡ he actually enjoys it but like EVERY game that lets us be packrats, carry weight is constantly an issue XD hes loving it at least
As for a tip: Moonshine Jamboree can make you a disgusting amount of caps if you do it right with the Gulper Slurry. If you have the plan of course
Watched the series on prime I’m finally looking to give the game a shot
I hope you enjoy it as much as me :)
Can always rely on you to refresh my memory when I have been inactive!
Thank you so much man. I was playing fallout and got the notification for the event and got so many legendary items and I got some legendary items from two people
Glad I could help
Great guide! I've played and love 4, got the itch for more Fallout after the show so I am giving 76 a try.
Hope you have as much fun as I'm having!
Been wanting to get back on 76 for a while and the TV show coming out was the kick I needed to do so...heavy gunner till level 80 now got a low HP automatic Railway Rifle build and absolutely loving it...nowhere near a complete build either only level 131...love the videos man keep up the good work 😁
I love the railway myself and thanks for the nice comment!
it takes a little longer, but it's worth creating a new weapon if you craft a legendary and don't get what you want - you can turn in the crappy legendary for script and basically get a few of your modules back to try again
A tip that was a game changer to me was the info about Fallout 1st. Good to know I won't lose the stuff I put in the storages after Fallout 1st expires.
I think a lot of people just think Bethesda takes it back lol. Not true, and thanks for commenting :)
I just found out BLOODIED RUNS OFF STIM PACKS. NOBODY EVER TOLD ME. I HATE UNYIELDED WITH A PASSION. Im staying High Health Anti Armor.
Only if you use born survivor
Either the 3 star Traveling Pharmacy perk or the Chemist backpack mod is your best friend
Thanks! A great intro...can't wait to see more.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for all these great tips happy to subscribe 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
Man I can’t wait to download this game and jump in 😃
Even as a "High" level player I always seem to learn something from the "Tips & Tricks" videos from all of you FO76 content creators. I only wish we had an emoji for "Here is a Gift!" since the one that looks like a gift is for "Let's Trade" which is something I don't do after seeing multiple scammer videos...
I have to say the best feature that I think that they added was the transfer all button from nearby. That is such a great feature.
I was quite happy when they added it :)
I use my second camp slot as a tent. It’s a small building with everything I need. 👍
When you get crafting legendary items (and congratulations, it’s such a great quality of life increase) be happy if the 1st star is the type you want. Your 2nd star being good is also cool, and forget about all 3 stars being perfect. You really need to use so many, hundreds, of legendary modules and cores for that.
Now we need a returning players tip
Video
Just getting back into this game, pulling my husband along this time, and this is reallyyyy helpful, thank you (:
Awesome to hear! Get him on here lol
The standard survival tent does not have a workbench. Just bed, stash, scrap, cook station and a banjo
I’m downloading the game while watching this video cant wait to play
I pre ordered 76 and played for a day before deciding the bugs just made it horrible and I got scammed out of my money. Recently picked it back up and am thrilled with the improvements! Now I cant wait to play everyday
Bugs are still here on ps5 and X Box game crash every 1 - 3 hours since months , don't about pc but i heard it's the same.
@@madpixiel7602 nope. Pc runs smoothly
Honestly, the thing that makes Fallout 76 such a great MMO is the community. It's one of the best player communities I've ever experienced.
@@Burritobandito79 Brilliant - thank you so much!
Amazing video thanks for the help!! 😁
Happy to help!
Nice, im a new player! Thanks for the tips!
No problem!

I found being invisible while moving helps with survival with the Chinese stealth suit I made it to 152
The infiltrator legendery perk is one of the most affective tools in the legendery perks but be careful around camps
Last night i was around the Wayward and had several new players ask me where to get Power Armor. I was trying to explain that the frames are found all over tge map but got lost in trying to explain how to get power Armor plans, mods, fusion cores, etc. Perhaps a future video about Power Armor tips would be useful.
thanks for the help not new to fallout at all just new too 76 thanks again 😎
I've been using the .44 Fact Finder as my main gun, I'm lol 46 now. I keep it and 2 others on me, 3 different ammo types. 1 is a bow
Great vid! Sent this to one of my friends, who want to start playing FO76. Hope he will join me, my other friends and everyone else enjoying 76 😄 welcome to all the new players!
Thanks for watching and sharing :)
@@MrWestTek thank you for the great vids! Love your channel 😄
I am not a new player anymore and I did not know about the fountain in whitesprings
Ty wes for this i have 2 low level accounts ill level them up
Thanks for watching! Very glad to help :)
im new and im here thank you
Thank you :)
I'm coming back to fallout 76 after 3 years I was so tired of people killing me all the time I'm glad the added pacifist mode
Most bizarre thing to me as a two month player is 5 seconds of a part of your video and I know the location. I have to go to that place with cement bags and lead weights to get them
These are some helpful tips!
Most wholesome fan community of a mmorpg these days, mlst of the hate is people who complained at the start and never ticuh the game again, after the 1st year most of the bugs and problems were resolved and now is really fun and the cooperative events are awesome
For most people: join a public team, you dont have to interact with them, but it grant passive bonus, specially casual group, and there are perks and mutations that benefit from being in a public group too
Scrapping and using stations out in the field consistently
This game is great glad I started
Thanks a lot for the video 👍😊
Thanks, very helpful!!!
Great video man
Thanks so much man
Someone said in another video that you shouldn't buy modules until your're level 50 because they are level based. Is that true? Noob lvl 13 player here. Thanks for the very helpful video. I learned things I didnt know.
Great video. Quick question though. The build you show at 6:38 is that all achievable by level 50? Getting three SPECIAL stats to 15?
Nope u need legendary perk cards
@@curlyhairedgamer Damn, that sucks. It’s really annoying that I can’t just max three by 50. Just wanna play as everything.
First game ive played where people arent toxic and killing you over and over
Im addicted to it bro😂
Not me living in the cranberry bog to take advantage of the pockets of Copper and steel😂😂
That power armor isn't mandatory. There are perks that only work without PA and you won't be handicapping yourself if you don't like the PA aesthetic.
Great tip.
The normal survival tent doesn’t come with anything but a bed, scrap box, and stash box
ive been collecting ammo just on my usual runs and selling for free at my camp for the newbies .
Once you have the plans, you can craft it anytime. Double check that you have the materials.
@@Lb57e8xb no like it wasn't even in the melee weapons menu. Maybe it was just a modification and not the actual weapon.
great vid, ty
No problem, thanks for watching :)
"end game" events are good for any players really legendarys, plans and all kinds of things just be careful
I've been using the events like Mothman Equinox to farm as many dropped items as possible to scrap or scrip and use the bonus the mothman gives to level up.
There are other survival tents that do have a work bench. Just keep an eye on the Atomic Shop.
kinda funny one thing i noticed i cant find people high enough level to help with events haha the number of lvl 1 and 20's outweighs the number of 100 up. definitely adds more challenge again lol
They will figure it out soon enough ;)
Btw when those pop up, just do them, except the one in the Savage Divide, cuz that’s limited to 8 players and is hard, but show up to Scorched Earth and the rest.
really appreciated this video just started fallout 76
@7:58 must be a fallout first thing i always run out of ammo, and have to keep 5 different types of gun on me, witch i really hate doing.
We also dont have workbench at that free tent...
Anything you drop can be picked up by anyone, so don't "drop" your power armor to enter it like I was doing when I was new.
(I picked up ammo really cheap from a player ran store which was awesome because the vendors and the vending machines are thieves.)
Another thing that sucks when you're low on caps, you can't fast travel or move your camp to another location.
Do public events to get ammo drops
MOST IMPORTANTLY, Have fun
Amazing advice right here.
