Wanting to be with someone far younger and less famous than yourself has a predatory element to me. He doesn't want to date his equal, and that's very concerning to me. He doesn't need to date more, he needs to talk to a licensed professional and work through whatever is holding him back.

There are plenty of trust fund 22 year olds who aren't famous, but who have the social and financial capital to be his equals. Before, people were scared of being cancelled. Now, everyone's attention span is so small that they'll forget anything after a year or even less.
There has to be something in the water that their drinking to be acting like this seriously
It's fame, money, and greed. There's a lot of information out there on the psychology of people who amass wealth and fame either quickly or generationally. It's all the same - it brings out the worst in people, makes them feel untouchable, and their capacity for empathy and compassion plummet the more money and fame they get. They see everything and everyone as a tool for their success, and some of these people include relationships and sexual conquests as part of that success.
The problem with RUclipsrs and other social media influencers is that these platforms are relatively new and unregulated, it is extremely easy for these people to exploit labor and other things out of people without consequence. And when there are consequences, why they can just follow the new formula of other terrible people before them: lie low and wait until the chatter dies down just enough for you to go back to what you were always doing all along.

I can’t imagine my boyfriend even giving an 18 year old the time of day, much less a minor who’s still in high school. 16/17 is so different developmentally, socially, and on their stage in life than at 22/23. I just watched part 1 and want to report back that it's definitely a helpful overview for anyone who hasn't been paying attention to the RUclips beauty community and was clueless about the drama.
