      Also, skewering nostalgia chasing as a primary subject in imagery. Great satire of the "film look" hype. 9/10 because there was no AI images of gas stations or motel signs at night, or basket ball hoops looking hazy on a summer afternoon. 😂

      For a second I wasn’t sure whether I’d seen this sort of thing or if it was just a bad dream - but I’m afraid Apple has done something very similar to this with Vision Pro. When you get on a facetime call with this thing on, it creates an artificial image of you for your conversation partner and vice versa. And let me tell you... it’s not great. More like dumpster fire type stuff, actually. You can see some of the fake footage in their launch video, where they have the balls to call it "realistic".

I'm tired of the overly-synthetic, heavily processed slag of modern interfaces. I have no idea how you're making this stuff backcompat, but keep going. I need to see more.

    This is a great parody of the nostalgia wave in camera tech. I especially liked the nod to the uncanny hyper real impressionistic quality of Gen I AI over the newer realistic rendering.
    So, 6 dismembered fingers on each hand is the AI equivalent of whack chemical white balances you see with expired film?
    I can see people adding extra limbs to AI images like they add muddy green tone to their photos. 😂
    I'd love to see what Leica would do with one of these shades. Keep the manual blink function, because frequent 0.2 seconds of black out is more natural.

    Your designs never fail to bring out the tactile obsession within me. You understand a medium that most people can barely even put into words and you continue to create new constructs showcasing that train of thought with amazing simplicity and yet mind blowing complexity. If I didn't know any better I'd say you had spent your career as a prop designer instead lol
    The weight in your shots keep getting heavier and heavier and I am here for it, btw started adopting your 65 x 24 aspect ratio and it has really made my images into something else entirely. From the bottom of my soul thank you for that
