I found this channel only a short time ago. I got hooked by it immediately, because i like the style so much. It’s so different, so special. It‘s like a post-apocalyptic horror movie. Since I am exactly into this kind of thing, i enjoy watching these clips and i really admire the cinematic skills and effort to make them. I mean, this guy simply wants to present a lens and creates a short film with an unique look that could easily run in a movie theater. The quality of this channel is absolutely outstanding!

Nothing beats the satisfaction of using the hybrid viewfinder! Plus the shutter sound is to die for and the original X-trans sensor inside the Pro-1 is still unbeaten for film-like quality imo.

We watch all your videos anyway, because regardless of subject matter, they're just that *damn good*. Merry christmas (or or whatever you celebrate, or if not: hope you have a great holiday)!
Yeah I'd like to see that as well. The 27 has tempted me as a small travel option. I've thought about the native Fuji 27 option but in borrowing lens I found the auto focus clunky at best. A manual option might be the way to go, especially since half my shooting is film on Minolta Rokkors at this point; would feel pretty natural.
I have the 23mm 1.2 aspherical for the x mount. Really awesome lens, feels just like a modern version of my ltm nokton 50 1.5. If autofocus isnt a must, voigtlanders x mount offerings win generally over fuji in price, and in “character”.

Thanks again for this awesome episode. This Nokton seems very interesting thanks to the electronic contacts. I really love my Mitakon Speedmaster 35mm .95 on my XPRO3, but the build quality is not the best. I had to disassemble it to tighten it because it was wabbling. By the way even on the fully manual Speedmaster I can zone focus, or manually focus and use focus peaking, and even zoom on the focus area whether in evf mode or hybrid evf. You just have to set up the xpro3 settings right, set it to manual (front dial) and set up the zoom shortcut. It works like a charm on any manual lens.
Just stumbled on your channel. Wtf. Love this dude. I been shooting dark ominous photos and listening to electronic music for much of my life and your channel speaks to me. Incredible work 🔥🧡🔥
I know nothing about Fuji camera, but I watch it for its sci-fi film look, amazing audio, lighting, and ambience. So unique, especially the "mask" and the vocal distortion effect.
Gorgeous video, luscious photos. And I thought my lens was fast... I just got back from a lowlight Christmas lights, portrait shoot with a manual 0.95f 50mm TTArtisan on my Fuji XT-5. Something even faster... f0.9 and 35mm, I'd say that's a dream for night street photography. That's a Speed Yōkai*! This flew under my radar. Looking at a late Christmas gift for myself for sure here. :)
My Pentax has a “catch in focus” setting. If you hold down the shutter button and twist your focus ring the camera fires at the moment you are in focus. Doesn’t Fuji has a function like that?
That’s a super cool feature!! Fuji does not have this. I remember that back in the day on my modded Canon t2i with the magic lantern firmware there was a setting called trap focus where as soon as something entered the focus zone it would take a picture. Similar-ish!
