I'm a fellow videographer. I make a living making commercials for brands. Watching youtube videos I'm always thinking "they could light this better, that could've been cut better, or the color grade on this is lacking." I even have knobs mapped for playback speed on videos so I can 1.5x or 2x speed easily, and knobs for skip 5 & skip 10 seconds, I skim most videos.
When I watch this man's videos, I forget those knobs exist, and I don't think, I just appreciate. Even if I already know what the video is about, I just sit back and appreciate the thoughtful art this man creates. The creativity, the lighting, the grade, the sets, the music, it all melds so well to create a surreal experience. I feel like I'm watching interdimensional youtube from an alternate reality. What a treat this is.

Gorgeous video as always. The video is a work of art. Best channel on RUclips. I usually watch your videos at night because night suits your vibe, but I couldn't wait, ha ha! These lenses look beautiful and thanks for mentioning the extension tubes. They have been a secret weapon of mine for years. I also use closeup diopters occasionally despite the optical loss of quality. The 100mm F2.8 Canon L series macro has been my workhorse for years. I love how DZO and other companies are bringing cinema quality lenses to a reasonable price point. I recently did a non-technical head to head comparison of the 50mm Sony F1.2 G-Master and the 50mm Zeiss Supreme prime (which I love) and honestly it is difficult to see the difference on screen, but obviously the Zeiss has all the features of a cinema lens like you outline here. I would love to see you do a video on the LAOWA 24mm PeriProbe Cine Lens. That looks like a fun one at a reasonable price.

Extension tubes are mentioned as a way to open up possibilities. But if you really really want to get close look at macro reversing rings that allow you to mount the lens backwards.

I wish you had talked a little more about the stylings, colors, textures, etc. that come out of these lenses and what you might use them for or with. Like you normally do with lenses in your other videos, but otherwise another grand slam of a vid. Amazing as always
