  • Thank you all so much for watching! This video was an all day fishing mission offshore of Stuart Florida. It was a great day with some beautiful weather although we lost a lot of fish because of sharks eating them and cutting us off. Unfortunately that is just the way it is sometimes. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed! Be sure to Subscribe and Like to stay tuned for more!!

    One of my favorite videos to date. I found this channel when I was really depressed, working night shift, going to school in the morning and being at home with my 3 year old the rest of the day. Whenever the anxiety attacks kicked in I'd watch a few videos with my daughter as a distraction. Thanks for the great footage and great fishing. You're doing a lot more than just making fishing content.

    Awesome day at sea!! All kinds of action and the seas were calm you can't ask for more.. Open water fishing that's my favorite you never know whats going to hit the line. There are sea monsters out there to make for stories to tell and to test those awesome rods that fishaholic uses that the way to do it. We saw one of those sharks come to surface, awesome day.. I would of just trolled a bit faster big tuna and wahoo like that and I use wire leader, not giving suggestions everyone should do what makes them happy

    Question, sir. I noticed in all your vids you don’t use wire. Instead you use other stuff and just risk getting sawed off. You really think wire would make that big a difference in bites? We struggled with the same concept here in Colorado for pike but with enough testing I figured out that using some afw wire really didn’t decrease my bites and I never got sawed off again. Anyways. Thanks for answering.

    • @FishAholicTV
      @FishAholicTV  Год назад +1

      I was using 40 and 60lb but it doesn’t really matter if a big shark eats the fish it can be an instant cut off and or if a big grouper eats it they will pull for a bit and then break you off in the structure or break you off from their sheer size and strength.

For trolling artificial's try a faster speed like 7 to 10 gps knots.. for planer trolling around 8 gps knots .. High speed trolling for tuna and wahoo at depth with the right rigs you let the line out at around five knots and then crank the speed up to 14 to 18 gps knots / So the fish will catch it but if you go to slow they loose interest. .. /
