    I haven't the money for this technology, or the space to put this technology, or anything to use this technology for...... but I still *want* this technology.

    What is the maximum height possible to cut in a steel workpiece? even using multiple pass?

    • @Avonisys
      @Avonisys  3 года назад +1

      it depends a bit on the type of steel and the cutting feature to make. We have cut 10mm depth and more, typically small features. Not similar to large metal sheet cutting.

    how do you deal with sharp edges?

    • @Avonisys
      @Avonisys  5 лет назад +3

      Hi Dixon, we just now saw your comment. When looking from above the edge is sharp due to the waterjet as "tool". In the XY-direction of the cut, the tool diameter (thus waterjet diameter) defines the sharpness of the edge. There will always be a radius, but that can be a small as 13-15 microns. Reach out to us through our website contact details if you'd appreciate a more in-depth exchange on this topic. We are happy to chat!

      In short, yes sharp. 😂🤣
      I guess don't touch them. A 15 micron edge is more than sharp.
