I think these simple, bite-sized videos are a great resource to new players (I consider myself moderately in-the-know, and I'm still getting plenty out of it)!
These videos are making me more excited to play Kill Team while also giving a really well-structured breakdown of the rules. Absolutely amazing. Clear and simple introduction videos Your explanations are invaluable to newer players. Editing is on point; Simple and not too flashy, but cleanly executed. I'll be pointing any of my friends interested in learning the rules towards your videos!
As someone who has been trying to navigate 40K killteam for about a month (no tabletop war gaming experience) I wish I found these videos first! Certainly recommend these videos!
Glad it was helpful! I’ve just released a new game of my own if you fancy something less rules heavy … ruclips.net/video/hDeZJaSwgV4/видео.htmlsi=Jj8f9QOlyi3XGqg2

I'll probably get the Harbinger book and the General's handbook. I was thinking of picking up the FEC and Nurgle boxes, but not at those prices. I probably will get the mounted Harbinger figure when it's available, as it's an absolutely brilliant looking sculpt. 👌
@@tabletopskirmishgames Thank you! Tomorrow I will by my Pathfinders for Kill Team. So, the core books for all warhammer in English, and my English not so good but I understand what you saying. I believe that some day I will meet you on tabletop for Kill team. GOOD LUCK!!!
2:23 Question. Kommando dakka boy's DF (can defend against "3 attacks" with a ranged weapon. Define "attacks". So does that mean that 3 dice opponent rolls on ranged attack, with dice being "attacks" so 3 dice opponent rolled are immediately null and void?
No. The DF value is the number of dice you roll. The Sv value is the number you need to roll to block an attack. So the model could block 3 hits maximum if you roll well
It says on the website "This epic boxed set includes two full kill teams - Veteran Guardsmen of the Death Korps of Krieg and cunning Ork Kommandos - alongside all the rules and accessories you need to start playing." Although not clearly listing the datasheets, I would say they are included.
During each attack they can choose from the ranged weapons they are ‘equipped’ with. (You’d have to specify which weapons they are equipped with at the start of the game, and then you would not be able to change them for the rest of the game.)
OK perfect, I wasn't sure, I didn't see any restrictions and couldn't understand how that worked. I was a little worried because I built a bunch of figs and then saw the cards in the book and was like Oh.
FYI, Mantic has announced that Deadzone 3.0 is on the way! The announcement is on their channel from this morning. New Starter Box, bunch of new sculpts, factions, units all with streamlined/refined and better explained rules. IIRC, I think they said October in stores. Some new content for you!
Nice! I just went and watched the announcement video and will go watch some battle reports and see what it’s all about. I heard they have murder birds on the way later this year so I need to find out what they are! 🐔 Thanks for the recommend! 👊
Mate, I love your “graphics”, they’re f’ing brilliant, seriously, really creative 😂 Good job explaining it all as well. 👍
Thanks so much! Loads more on the way, thanks for watching 👊

I've watched a lot of Kill Team how-to vids (I'm new) and this by far is the best! Great work!
Thanks so much!

These are fantastic videos man, well explained, shot and edited.
Thanks, Sebastian!
I have find your channel to be an amazing asset as a beginner to the game and hobby in general. Keep the content coming.
Thanks, Allen, I appreciate that 👊
This has been a lot more helpful than my buddy could explain. Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
Very clear and simple explanation your gonna go places!
Thanks, Desmond!
Honestly. These arrows are so helpful
Great to hear, thanks!
Maaan, this is so overwhelming. I bought into the dark to learn and play with my family but I dont think I'll be able to pull it off.
After a few games it gets intuitive, the rules are written in a wordy way but it makes sense once you get a few games under your belt
Excellent video series
Thanks Matthew!
Great video, made me realize no way am I going to pursue any warhammer 40k games
Thanks! I don’t blame you 🤣
I just love to hear your cheerful intro : ).
🤣 I was going to change the intro a while back but it's grown into a meme and now I have to keep it lol
On my phobos captain data card it has equipment listed how does that work as in are they compulsory. Are they the only equipment they can carry.
Is that Kill Team or 40k data card?

These videos are awesome. Saves a lazy ass like myself from reading the book. It’s also great your are essentially following the flow of the book.
🤣 Thats great to hear, thank you!
I love palying kill team octarius!

@travisjohnson622 the save stats are only for shooting.
Melee is a completely different system for striking and parrying in KT.
Them new Orange arrows... :)
We’ve levelled up from the green! 🤪
Does the kill team starter set include the data sheets for the kommandos and veteran guards?

@@tabletopskirmishgames thank you i just wanted to make sure
The Kill Team: Octarius box comes with the Kommandos and vet guards, to include data sheets for both factions
I can't wait for line of sight
That should be video number 9 👊
Thanks fot the vids.
Thanks for watching! More on the way today 👊
if they have 2 or more ranged attacks, do they have a choice of attacks or are they locked into having that gun the rest of the game ?

What determines the range of the ranged weapons btw?

Pointer is great. Great idea.
Thanks!
This shit is too complicated for quick games. Half of these rules and statistics could be thrown out entirely and the game would function just fine
