I am Canadian… We live for the Caesar. I went to San Diego for holidays with my wife in 2019 and I asked for a Caesar when the waiter at our resort was taking our drink order and he thought I meant the salad…… Good to see Texans have more class. 😉 lol Thanks for another stellar drink bud!
Hey Matt, So along with a well played bloody, i like a great garnish. I just put together another one that every body enjoyed was, rib eye breakfast steak. Rubbed whole steak with Worcestershire sauce, let set 20 min, then cut into 1in wide strips, skewered pieces on bamboo skewers, seasoned with holy cow an let set 5 min, out to the smoker set at 225 till meat temp 135 pulled an used sweet bbq sauce, back on the smoker for 10 min. Removed an let set for few min then added on the skewer to the drink along with another skewer with cheese, shrimp an peppers… The crowd went wild… Sunday Funday with friends is proof this life is truley a gift👍
O'Canada!! Come up here anytime Matt. We usually rim with the celery salt and you gotta garnish with a big pickled bean!! Serve with a side of poutine, and a beavertail!
Loved the video. I don’t drink, but your recipe does look delicious. Came here because I heard your channel mentioned on the Heritage Farms Texas channel. Glad I found your channel.
As a Canadian, I’m extremely happy you used Worcestershire sauce, but holy cow that was a ton. Also, it needs Tabasco sauce, even just a little. I prefer more than a little. Surprised on the horseradish, certainly not a normal addition here, but I like horseradish, so maybe.
Yep. All you were missing from that Caesar was hot sauce (Tabasco is the standard) but when I make them, I add a few grinds of fresh black pepper. But I only make them. Can't drink them. Me and anything tomato based don't get along.
Flying out to Texas next week. Checking out property to move out there. Anna Texas. I'll have to take a trip down to your shop and pick up seasonings and merchandise 👍🍻
I’ll be making a similar bloody outside of Kinnick in Iowa City tomorrow! I love Zing Zang with horseradish and Tajin on the rim. May need to try the voodoo rim though that sounds great!
Bit weak on the Caesar Matt. You gotta go down and dirty with that. Horseradish, some hot sauce, wooster (Worcester) celery salt, maybe a dill pickle and a couple more ounces of vodka. Don't get fancy with the trimmings. Doesn't matter what's on the stick. Matters what's in the glass. I drink Caesars all year round up here in the GWN. Sometimes for breakfast. Hair of the dog.
I had not heard of the Caesar before, I will have to look into that. Funny thing is that when this video was uploaded I was trying to test a Bloody Mary using some Tito's I infused with jalapeno peppers from the garden. It was a massive failure. Please don't tell Tito. Also, that's pretty brave mixing those at a tailgate while wearing a white jersey. It would have spilled it on me.
BM doesn't even compare to a spicy ceasar Cesar: Spicy Motts Clamato - nice and cold 2oz Pickle brine Worcestershire sauce Extra tabasco Extra horse radish Rims glass with lime wedge then Old Bay seasoning 2z Vodka (or gin) - freezer cold Garnish with spicey bean, strip of crispy bacon one more shot of vodka on top unstirred Sprinkle Montreal steak spicy on top
@@andrewsbbq I'm well aware of what a Caesar is, I've been making and drinking them here in Ontario for more than 30 years. I'm one of those who happen to think that what's in the glass is more important than what's on the stick.
@@peteratkin6151 lol good to know your credentials. You're worried about 3 shots of vodka a bean and strip of bacon? Sorry we all don't just drink a fifth of vodka with a squeeze of tomato paste
I was afraid you were going to fuck it up and use beer, or tequila in the Caesar, like I've seen other texans do. But other than missing the rimmer & hot sauce, it's not bad.

Caesar Caesar Caesar..... I'm Canadian and this a started in Calgary, Alberta..... my home town and my fav go to drink
“Hey how can we write off our tailgating without shooting a long video ruining the tailgating?”………Bloody Marys lol. Brilliant.
We shot 3 videos for almost 4 hours actually. This was just the icing on the cake from our Tailgate series videos that we shot.

Love it Matt! Thank you for the shout out to the Great White North. BTW gin also works very well in a Clamato Caesar too. Give it a try!
Love the Holy on the Bloody for sure! Bloody Buddy..
Caesar reminds me of michelada those are amazing as well.
How bout dem Cowboys. I was already a supporter and buyer of seasonings but your America’s team support just made my day.

Love a good Bloody Mary. Been using Clamato for many years.
YES HorseyRadish!!!! It's really odd on how many folks know about this great secret to a Bloody Mary.
Both look awesome. I would vote for the Caesar today.
Key to a good Caesar is a splash of pickle juice.

Awesome video!! I must make a Caesar now!! I’m a Bloody Mary guy, extra spicy !!
Hell yah Matt!!!! Go Cowboys!!!! We dominated the game!
Try some St. Elmo's Cocktail Sauce in one of these. Some seriously potent horseradish!

Hey, Matt. I got the Holy Cow and the Holy Gospel in the mail. My mom ordered it for me from Walmart

Trust me. He'll never know.
Very nice!! 👍👍🏈🍻
I love the holy voodoo. My buddy puts holy voodoo on everything including pancakes. He says he has not found nothing that is not good on yet
Matt you play hockey?? Hell ya!
BM doesn't even compare to a spicy ceasar
Cesar:
Spicy Motts Clamato - nice and cold
2oz Pickle brine
Worcestershire sauce
Extra tabasco
Extra horse radish
Rims glass with lime wedge then Old Bay seasoning
2z Vodka (or gin) - freezer cold
Garnish with spicey bean, strip of crispy bacon
one more shot of vodka on top unstirred
Sprinkle Montreal steak spicy on top
This is the way 🇨🇦
Close, but not enough vodka and too much on the garnish. It's a drink, not a flower arrangement.
@@peteratkin6151 what you want is a dusty bloody Mary, Caesar is a meal and a Canadian patio legend

Matt, if you want and epic ceaser mix let me know!
Do you still play in any men’s league in the Texas area?
Ah yes, the perfect hair of the dog that bit me. Yum!
Ok, so your recipe is Vodka, Bloody Mary mix and a spoonful of horseradish? Hold on, gotta get a pen and write that one down….
Never knew you played hockey, surprised.
This dude is a genius. Seeing that gem of Caesar has this ol’ Canadian thirsty
Thanks Corbin!
Brett Favre’s Steak House, man that’s long gone lol. Go pack
You can make the Ceasers with Tequila also. 🤪
Hey. I rim the Bloody Mary with your Fajita! Much better than holly cow. Thanks
You don't shake your mixers...
cheer's
Holy Voodoo for the ring all day
Caesars are the way to go!
I’m surprised alcohol is still legal in Canada.

That’s not a Bloody Mary or Caesar. That’s a michelada. Also delicious.
BBQ wife mixes are legit. Hopefully one day I can come have one of those cocktails with Matt "Dez caught it" Pittman.
So your favorite bloody mix, vodka, and obviously your M.C. seasoning product… way to get super complex for this recipe 😂 C’mon man you can do better
That entire 2nd drink is ruined! Floridian worstershire? Lmao! Texans don't make worstershire sauce??? 😅
