Milan, I really enjoy watching your videos I've been watching you for about 2-3 months now and they're great. Your How to Drive Manual, When You Run Out Of Gas, Getting Pulled Over, and your car wash videos were the first ones I watched on your channel and was hooked I really like your friendly and positive personality and I hope there will be so much more videos from you in the future. Have fun and drive safe! :)
Love the vid! Have to ask...have a 9th Gen Accord Touring V6 and am doing the BBK (Acura RL Calipers, 350ZRotor, Fatsbrakes adapter). What I need to know is-what is the minimum offset needed to clear the rim?
Great video! Would be nice to have a video going over everything you have done to your Accord since you bought it. Keep up the informational and professional videos!
You can do the same with a 92 - 95 Honda Civic, but you would use the calipers from a Acura Legend which will bolt up directly. The only thing you would have to do is grind about a inch off the rear corner so they can close and for the big rotors you can use Prelude rotors because they are bigger a look good. The whole process and cost is nothing $200 tops for everything or less.
Great info here but I just wish I understood how the "internet" figured out the Acura RL calipers would fit with the Maxima rotor on a Honda Accord. What measurements were made?
it's debatable... cars fitted with larger brakes also usually have larger fluid displacement & a more beefed up brake system as a whole. not just the brakes themselves.. also alot of single piston brakes can be more efficient then multi-piston setups, as the single piston has a larger surface area then a group of individual pistons etc.. Anyway, ppl need to be aware there's more to a big brake swap then just the disks, brackets & calipers... abs set-up etc, the brake pressure set-up, larger reservoir etc.. then there's why add larger brakes to a small engined/low power car?!?
Great Video! I have a 2022 Car so theres little to no options for me to get a big brake upgrade, i may have found a set for around $1600 but does anyone have any advice for how to make my own?Idk where to get a custom bracket from. Idk which other car has a rotor that would fit, or exactly which Brake caliper to get.
06 tl owner and I'm looking for the same upgrade and started following a few sales of rl calipers on ebay. Dont want to pay five times more either for the upgrade. I am concerned about clearance with stock 3rd gen wheels. I have blank centric rotors for 2yrs now and they're warped. I know it depends on the driving type but still cant decide if i should bye blanks or drilled and slotted. I want to make sure I'm buying the best option for my driving. I only asked based on your experience. I've read and seen a lot of videos. My brakes arent for car shows their for parkways and highways. Thanks in advance.
Please help, saw this BBK that is a direct bolt-on for my 2011 Accord Coupe LX-S. It recommends that it fits a 286mm or 302mm diameter rotor. Couldn’t find anything that spec for my car, but found a 300mm. Would that still technically fit/work?
Hey man, I love your video. You did a good job with the installation. I have a question, I'm getting a lot of high pitch squeaking from my set up any advice on what I could have done wrong? I have the 9 gen accord v6 other than that I used all the same parts as you did for your car Thank you for your time.
I'm also using Maxima rotors but Maxima rotors are NOT THE SAME DIAMETER of the 350z track rotors. Maxima is only 12.5 and 350Z track is 12.76. I have a bit of pad that doesn't make contact with the rotor because of this. If there was a rotor that was 12.76 and only 28mm thick instead of 30 it would be perfect.
Did you order the brackets straight from the website? I can't seem to find them on their site anywhere! Also I follow along with you on Our8thGens on Facebook! Good stuff man! Keep it up
dear how can i upgrade mine i have a 2009 lancer ex gt and can i upgrade to an evox one i am not into tracking or racing i just want better road performance so do let me know accordingly best regards to all
I dont know if you can. Keep in mind that the RL's hubs are 5 x 120 where the accord's is 5x114.3 so your wheels won't fit. Which means you'll have more things to swap over
@Milanmastracci: I see there are several Acura RL calipers for sale on eBay. But does it matter what year they are from? I was thinking to use it on my 97 Civic with 262mm hubs.
I always wondered if there was any specific reason why you got the 4 cylinder accord coupe instead of the v6? I'm just curious kuz I'm currently in the market for one of those cars.
hi brother may I know the model of the BBK with a good price for my 2015 Honda Accord V6 Sport 4 Door , Because I am living in Middle East and we Do not have any shops that have items like these so we are ordering it from amazon or eBay and I wanna make sure that items which I'll order is fit my car can you please help me with the model number and links of the items if you do not mind? regards
I need help! I been looking somehow upgrade my honda Accord Ex 94 with some big brake and i think can do the same your doing with you car please answer me

Very clear excellent instructions

This is a smart way to do this. Well done.
BBK is the way to go! Looking forward to the project. x)
Those rotors are HIT bro!
doing the same on my alfa, 1 piston (GTV) to 4 piston (166) with adapters and 4 mill spacers for 330x32mm rotors.
ohh Alfa Love
It makes such a difference!!
Cant wait for tommorow :D
Oh and I just passed my full license yesterday!
Thats awesome buddy!! Congrats :)
Have an 08 tl. Works exactly the same way on that car. will be doing this soon too
Great video! Would be nice to have a video going over everything you have done to your Accord since you bought it. Keep up the informational and professional videos!
I'll do one of those soon :)

Thats pretty killer!! BBK on the cheap 👍
Should explain the difference between the sliding and fixed callipers.
Lookin forward for more videos in the future Milan

how were the akabono pads, for dusting? were they semi-metallic (if you remember, as I realize this is an old video)
Great stuff again man!
Thanks Chris :)

Can I install on a Golf MK4 similar brake without increasing the radius (so you can use 15' wheels)?

Where you get the adapter for the caliper.. I have one like you car..
Hi, Milanmastracci, need to know where we need to install the ARP bolt in your build list please, thanks and nice video.

God damn! I can see you are hard on the brakes because you have cracks where the holes are on your stoptech rotors. But good thing you went BBK.
Hey man, I love your video. You did a good job with the installation.

I have the 9 gen accord v6 other than that I used all the same parts as you did for your car
Thank you for your time.
I have the same issue, any solition to make the squeak go away?
Can I reuse the Banjo bolts with the copper washers or do I need to get new ones
You have an accord exl... what year? Coupe or sedan?
So you dont have to change the knuckle? I've seen people use an odyssey knuckle. Is it required?
I'm also using Maxima rotors but Maxima rotors are NOT THE SAME DIAMETER of the 350z track rotors. Maxima is only 12.5 and 350Z track is 12.76. How thick are those 350 rotors?
@@alitoroganan2442 350Z track rotors are 30mm thick. I tried using those at first but they wouldn't clear the RL calipers
@@killer2931 fark noooo, that's the one that i bought.. They all say use the ones from 350z
What year is the Honda Accord in this video? What is the wheel size?
Will the hub centric ring that comes with the fastbrake kit affect the overall size of the oem hub bore or no?
What size of adapter did you use for the rotors? Any links to but them?
would this work on the 10th gen accord ?
I saw the pic of the calipers on FB amazing project milan
You gunna do a BBK on the rear??
Do you mind helping with info on where I can get some hub centric rings for the rotors?
hey i want to do this same mod to my honda accord sport sedan, would this work can you help?
Did you order the brackets straight from the website? I can't seem to find them on their site anywhere! Also I follow along with you on Our8thGens on Facebook! Good stuff man! Keep it up
Just google it and it should come up :)
Where do I find those adapters for the caliper???
dear how can i upgrade mine i have a 2009 lancer ex gt and can i upgrade to an evox one i am not into tracking or racing i just want better road performance so do let me know accordingly best regards to all
Are the rear calipers also getting swapped?
Can this work with just the stock rotor 11.6 inc
So, are you going to change the calipers and rotors in the back for a big brake kit for it too.
I'm looking into it :)
So you just keep in stock in the back or do rl have a 4 piston calipers in the back too
As it stands now, they're stock, but I'm looking into larger brakes for the back too, of course on the cheap :)
How about doing the same with a Hyundai Sonata ?
Second hand parts are the best for cheap upgrades!
There's no better bang for buck upgrade :)
Since it's a Honda can you swap over the hubs from the RL onto your car?
I dont know if you can. Keep in mind that the RL's hubs are 5 x 120 where the accord's is 5x114.3 so your wheels won't fit. Which means you'll have more things to swap over
Does this caliper fit 2015 Q50?
What’s the link to the brackets
Would this work on the 06 Honda Accord LX V6 sedan?
Same question for same car (2017) model. I currently have purchased a used Acura RL 4 piston caliper (2012) and want to know if it will work. Thanks
Will this work for the 7th gen accord?
Would you know if these are also compatible on 2016 Accord models?
Where did you get the hub centric rings? Do you have a link for the ones you got?
Do you think its possible to swap LS430 Caliper and put them on my 2014 Toyota Avalon kind of what you did with your accord from acura
I don't see why not? If you can get find a bracket, you can install whatever you like!!
Do u think this will fit my 08 civic si front brake? I want the caliper bracket don’t know where to fine on the website. Please reply.
Do you have a caliper video yet?
Painting calipers?
@Milanmastracci: I see there are several Acura RL calipers for sale on eBay. But does it matter what year they are from? I was thinking to use it on my 97 Civic with 262mm hubs.

4cyl comes in a manual. 6 comes in 4 speed auto
Do I have to replace the brake lines or can I just use the stock ones ?
You need to upgrade to braided hoses
Hey I have a 2014 Honda Accord. Would this BBK setup will be compatible with mine?
YES!!
Where you got the adapters from??
I need the hub centric rings for the rotors anyone have a link for them?
Hello, just absolutely loved this video. Can anyone help me with doing the same but for my 2008 Odyssey?
hi brother may I know the model of the BBK with a good price for my 2015 Honda Accord V6 Sport 4 Door , Because I am living in Middle East and we Do not have any shops that have items like these so we are ordering it from amazon or eBay and I wanna make sure that items which I'll order is fit my car can you please help me with the model number and links of the items if you do not mind?

Milanmastracci check your Gmail from Mrcollegeman.
Videos are good but dude you talk too much! People watching your vids are not 5 yr olds. Lessen the yapping and more of the wrenching.
Errr... dangerous?
Lame...
you didn’t buy brembo because your poor. you shouldn’t have custom calipers if your poor it’s ridiculous.
Not everyone can be a rich a$$hole
third😂😂
Would this work on the 8th gen sedan accord also?
