@ 2:18 100 percent a Monitor lizard and they get BIG and can be very passive if raised in captivity.... In the wild ... Very aggressive ! And has a strong jaw / bite ! Will eat anything living ... Too big to swallow... Treats it to shreds . I used to have a couple yrs ago.

I wouldn't recommend shooting looters so they look like grated cheese as Sheriff Grady recommends. According to F.S. § 776.012 (2), “a person is justified in using … deadly force if he or she reasonably believes that using … such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony. Forcible felony is the key word here. Go ahead and listen to Grady and spend some time in the system and see if he cares.

@Alex Hall Correct. If someone breaks into your occupied home you have a forcible felony and have the right to use deadly force, but if a looter is stealing property out of your boat that's a mile down the road you do not have a legal right to use deadly force.
