Just the other day I almost fell off my chair laughing while I was typing a text document, when I spelled the word "first" and my text editor filled-in "VICTIMOFTHEROBOTAPOCALYPSESAYSWHAT" I thought it was a fluke, until a few sentences later I tried to type the word "food" and I got as far as "foo" before it changed to "FOOOOOAAAAAUUUURRGH" (like joke spellings of the infamous "what am I fighting for" line). It was basically like saying "Be Brave", "Be Strong", or "Fight on". in today's day however, you'll most likely hear "Fight/Fighting!" instead as a phrase of encouragement in Asian cultures. all that being said, GutsMan is a strong, Powerhouse Robot master.

@@lilmissknowitall5775 Are you sure that's not because you and I live in different countries? ;^) While typing this, I'm literally wearing a Mega Man T-shirt, sipping fruit juice from a Mega Man mug, and sitting at a desk with a Mega Man Amiibo and various papers covered in fanart drawings (many of them Mega Man).
Just the other day I almost fell off my chair laughing while I was typing a text document, when I spelled the word "first" and my text editor filled-in "VICTIMOFTHEROBOTAPOCALYPSESAYSWHAT"
I thought it was a fluke, until a few sentences later I tried to type the word "food" and I got as far as "foo" before it changed to "FOOOOOAAAAAUUUURRGH" (like joke spellings of the infamous "what am I fighting for" line). Even my freaking auto-correct knows I'm an MMX memer. X^D
All that said, I probably only would have gotten about 80% of these character guesses right myself- if only because I'm naturally bad at memorizing the names of people, real or fictional. =^p

The reason he's called Gutsman is because in Japanese culture (where MegaMan/RockMan is from), it used to be common to say "Guts" (Gatsu) which was short for "having guts", as a term of encouragement. It was basically like saying "Be Brave", "Be Strong", or "Fight on". in today's day however, you'll most likely hear "Fight/Fighting!" instead as a phrase of encouragement in Asian cultures. all that being said, GutsMan is a strong, Powerhouse Robot master.
