I heard in an interview that Paige did she said she doesn’t want anything done to the shark because it wasn’t really shark fault she said she was in the shark territory soo the shark should be held responsible for what happened to her! She is one brave and strong girl!
Amazing story of survival ...this young lady was dealt a hand that could have broken her but she did not allow that to happen !! So thankful everyone was in place where they needed to be so they could save her life !!

Wow!! What an amazing family! I can't wait to see how Paige is doing now. I wonder if she has suffered from PTSD or nightmares about the attack itself? She must have been terrified. And rightly so. But from this report, it seems that her positive attitude may ward off any long term anxiety or fear of getting back in the water.
I wonder if anyone has figured out what kind of sharks they were and why they were in such shallow water and ready to eat humans? Is this a habitat reduction or food scarcity problem that forced the sharks into this situation?
My best wishes to Paige, her family, and her medical team. And those strangers who helped on scene before medics arrived. Especially the person who produced a belt to help stop the blood loss. Way to go! Hugs to you from Canada!
Actually sharks dont eat humans they only bite them because they either mistake us for some sea creature OR they're just curious. This will become a much more common occurrence because the human population will continue to grow, along with the interest and exploration of ocean waters.
Another theory is that temperatures in the waters are becoming warmer. This has made smaller water animals (shark food) come closer and closer to shore where we wouldnt normally expect them. Its been found that sharks have remarkable memories. So theoretically say a shark came closer to shore and therefore had a lot of prey to eat, they can actually remember that experience and return to those shallow waters where its likely to have more prey again along with the higher chance of coming in contact with humans.
Lastly, sharks are showing signs of increased population but there really isnt a way to definitively tell as of now. The main thing is that with our growing population, we have to recognize that when more people enter the water theres a greater chance of contact. Its just probability. We are entering THEIR domain and should take all precaution to respect their homes and protect ourselves. She's such a great girl, and extremely intelligent. Im so proud of her!

Silverpairaducks wasn’t really saying that she would master an instrument, but challenged persons have overcome great odds to become proficient at all types of instruments or hobbies, etc. it was meant more along the lines that the physical movement (therapy) coupled with the mental stimulation can prove quite healing.
