I am a single retired woman also with a little pug and would like to connect with Christine. She is an amazing lady who I could learn so much from. If I could connect with someone who is doing this alone who is closer to my age I would feel more comfortable about pulling the trigger and selling my condo and buying a used Mercedes Interstate 19. Of course when I tell my my brothers and sisters and my only daughter my idea they are full of negative comments which of course makes me second guess the decision and I put it off. The thing is I always go back to dreaming of how this life would be and if it would be right for me. There are so many places I would love to see and do before I am too old. The saying, "go-go, slow go & no go", keeps ringing in my ears and I want to experience as much as I can before I am a "no go". I live in Oklahoma and my only daughter moved to New Jersey about 3 years ago. I would love to travel up there to see her and stay for several weeks at a time and then continue seeing the rest of the US. With that said is there any way I could get in touch with Christine? This has to be, if not, the best presentation of a mobile home I've ever watched !! Christine is very easy to listen to and I loved her flow, she didn't need to be prompted. A detail I loved was when she actually sat in her van in the drivers seat to get a view of what she actually sees while driving. That would have to be an absolute must if I was to ever go off grid....that and access to the drivers seat from the living area....just in case. Thanks !!

Much respect to her for taking on something most of us want but cannot do or are afraid to take that leap. One question I do have - for those single folks that do this full time - do they carry any person protection with them for security reason such as alarms, mace, firearms etc. thanks Patrick

Just before US 129 goes into Tennessee from Georgia, there is a campground especially for Airstreams. I think it is called TOP of Georgia. There are some remarkable airstreams that just stayed there for decades but you will see the new stuff, too.
This a really good well presented and put together vehicle. I was leaning toward the pottery barn pull along but as a woman, I’d like the option of taking off without having to exit the home. Thank you for this entire video.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hi, friendly feedback: For more room in your shower - on the wall where the toilet is: if you would be willing to get a shower bench - hollow it out, create a slide out toilet, create a massive all niche so much so that the shower bench sits practically flat within the wall. That way when you need the shower bench you can simply pull it out when needed, and same if you want to use a toilet. If you’d like to create even more space you can have the shower bench curved. If you want more space if you will look up “Murphy Door” concept and put the said wall niche onto the door front, therefore you have a closet or even another vanity, or maybe another powered room. 😊 Another concept to consider: “Murphy Desk” And “Murphy Bed” If you feel like being a little more adventitious and create even more storage space: and at least are willing to reconstruct the doors in the back: 1. If you’ll search “smart Bed” on “Jubilee Furniture” please note the hollowed out sides of the bed frame for an easy visual. Now, we are going to look at the back doors as a retractable 5 door system. Think of the first four as though you are opening up a box type back age that run the full ke get h and duration. The two doors on the did could be fitted on both sides to the standard “Murphy door” concept with slide out Sibelius dinette/desk table just underneath the countertop The lower door can act as a deck, while the top can be hollowed out and contain drop down supplies, showers, tents, play tents, even store some portable workout equipment if need be. The fith door - for a visual - if you’ll look up fith wheel toy hauler, look at the garage - and the glass sliding patio doors. These also can be converted into Murphy doors or even be converted into a tv or gaming center. :) Another concept to consider is “sunken floor lounge” but only if you are willing to look at and consider full length/duration expandable elements: -“SLRV Commander 8x8” -“CMC Caravan” -“Beauer 3X” -“sCarabane” -“Romotow” An added bonus: -“Hymer Vision Venture S”

Wow, there is nothing like Airstreams. We have had 3 sizes of Flying Cloud trailers and We have always loved them. Great to see a solo person doing so well in this beautiful rig.

Just before US 129 goes into Tennessee from Georgia, there is a campground especially for Airstreams. I think it is called TOP of Georgia. There are some remarkable airstreams that just stayed there for decades but you will see the new stuff, too.

Hi, friendly feedback:
For more room in your shower - on the wall where the toilet is: if you would be willing to get a shower bench - hollow it out, create a slide out toilet, create a massive all niche so much so that the shower bench sits practically flat within the wall. That way when you need the shower bench you can simply pull it out when needed, and same if you want to use a toilet.
If you’d like to create even more space you can have the shower bench curved.
If you want more space if you will look up “Murphy Door” concept and put the said wall niche onto the door front, therefore you have a closet or even another vanity, or maybe another powered room. 😊
Another concept to consider: “Murphy Desk”
And “Murphy Bed”
If you feel like being a little more adventitious and create even more storage space: and at least are willing to reconstruct the doors in the back:
1. If you’ll search “smart Bed” on “Jubilee Furniture” please note the hollowed out sides of the bed frame for an easy visual.
Now, we are going to look at the back doors as a retractable 5 door system.
Think of the first four as though you are opening up a box type back age that run the full ke get h and duration. The two doors on the did could be fitted on both sides to the standard “Murphy door” concept with slide out Sibelius dinette/desk table just underneath the countertop
The lower door can act as a deck, while the top can be hollowed out and contain drop down supplies, showers, tents, play tents, even store some portable workout equipment if need be.
The fith door - for a visual - if you’ll look up fith wheel toy hauler, look at the garage - and the glass sliding patio doors. These also can be converted into Murphy doors or even be converted into a tv or gaming center. :)
Another concept to consider is “sunken floor lounge” but only if you are willing to look at and consider full length/duration expandable elements:

-“CMC Caravan”
-“Beauer 3X”
-“sCarabane”
-“Romotow”
An added bonus:
