Boost is so addictive!! I've got a turbo K swapped MR2 and I've always wanted to boost my 97 328iC and the GF's 86 325iS as well. So far I've only done a chip and the "poor mans SC" on our E36...a 3.23LSD. Mind sharing a detailed build list? I don't wanna rewrite the book, I just wanna copy and paste what's known to work :-)

Reading on the forums/FB is hit and miss for info, I'm looking for a kit/parts list for dummies but hopefully not the $4-5k price tag.
@@M5JamesE39 real garrett turbo. ic piping fit, exhaust all custom, injectors are bought from Rk tunes. Drain and feed is custom AN lines. Drain goes into pan. Feed comes from back of OFH

Currently a 3.23. A diff ratio in 2.9s would be optimal. My 3.46 e34 runs out of gearing too fast with turbo. Longer gears would definitely give it a better chance

I'm lookin for a 2.93 rn. I have a 3.91 from when I did my swap and I HATE it. I mean it's fun and all,and if I wanted to be sideways I easily could...but she seems to run outta gear at like 90mph. Kinda like I need another gear. I found one in Baltimore,but need to get there
there is no way that’s a stock motor, a m52 like that with a lot of miles cannot handle such a large turbo like that not even k swapped cars or 1jzge engines can handle more then 8 pounds on a stock motor it was prob rebuild in some time in its life
Can I please voice my disagreement with calling a m52 "stock" when a turbo is slapped on it. Like when. Cleetus does a record breaking run he'll be like "I can't believe we did that with a stock motor" while there's a snail the size of my head stickin out the top of the hood. STOCK is STOCK...nothing done,not even a turbo. Stock is how it rolled out the dealership with...what would be listed on the window sticker. Otherwise it should be a "m52 turbo, turbo m52" and when did this change happen?Cuz 15yrs ago it wasn't said like this. U know I have VERY fond memories of when I was "cool" and making up terms like "cap"
I hear what you’re saying but its just what people say for these types of things. Its a stock motor being force fed induction. 4 bolts and theres no turbo, theres an m52 as it left factory. Most engines can’t be forced that much horsepower with the insides exactly how they left the factory
