    I loved this video. Not only because you concisely explain how to use Habits, you go through all steps and options and explain their use and function. But furthermore, your way of advertising and promoting this series, in my opinion, was incredibly well done. It is less adamant/pestering than most other advertisements and really presents you as a helpful and assisting person, like in your course. I hope it makes sense what I aim to get across here. Thank you so much!

    Hi, How do we put habits in calendar? Like a time block? I have a habit workout but sometimes I do it in the morning and sometimes in the evening. So I want to create a time block for that day which I couldn't. Can you help me or suggest a work around? Thanks!

    Hello, thank you for this great video!
    1 Question please, is it possible to make the habit shown in the calendar view with the recurrence?
    Otherwise I would need to create a task similar to the habit, because I organize my calendar with time blocking.

    Can TickTick be used to create long term 'north star' goals.. and then sub milestone goals, and daily/week/monthly etc task beneath these as sub tasks? I am looking for a system that can help me create the vision then break it down into chunks etc.

      Sure you could use it that way.
      North Star Goal: List
      Sub Milestone Goals: List Section
      Tasks & Sub-Tasks placed in each Section according to your preferred method for breaking things down

      Thank you! All is well. I've had some issues come up that prevented me from making more videos but more TickTick content is on the way ASAP.

    Hello, thank you for this helpful video (and btw you have a great voice!)! Is there an option to export habits to excel or google sheets?

    Is there a difference between “Skip” and “Abandon”for a habit? Do they affect how the stats are computed? For example, I have a Journaling habit that I’d like to complete 3 times per week. I have the frequency set to Weekly, with 3 days per week. If I want to indicate that I did not journal on a certain day, is it better to use Skip, Abandon, or nothing at all?

    • @LucasPrigge
      @LucasPrigge  День назад

      Skipping is basically checking in but not doing it, so that is the best option in this case.

    Funny enough I looked up this video so I could create a habit to track my calisthenics workout hahah

    ok so what if I want a habit, and want that functionality, but also want to see that time blocked out on my schedule? Without making a task for it, since its already in the habit category.

      The closest you can get with Habits is showing them on your calendar view in TickTick. If you want more, use Routines: ruclips.net/video/6r8qe1G0rcc/видео.html

    Weirdly, I don't have "Start Date" and "Goal Days" in my habit edit window. Did they remove it since?

    Very helpful! I thought I had not checked Auto Pop-up on any habits, so I was confused what was going on with some of them not letting me check them, without opening the whole habit. Once I saw what the pop up looked like, I knew I had accidentally checked some. Thanks for ending my daily frustration!
    If I haven’t received a newsletter should I reapply or just chill until you get to it?

      Great to hear, Bob! You don't need to reapply - the newsletter is launching some time this month (September) 😊

    The one think that is annoying about habits section is if you mark any habit as achieved for the day there isn't any option to remove it.
    Yes you can go and change it to unachieved but cant let it go untouched.
    If i want to try marking everyday if anything i didn't do it as unachived then there is no easy way to do it. Atleast on mobile.

    Hi Lucas
    I really appreciate your useful and simple TickTick series. I'm actually a daily user of TickTick for task management and as the first layer in my second brain system for collecting ideas and notes.
    I'm wondering if you know how I can tell when I created a task or note? I sometimes forget when I added a task, especially in case of duplication. I'm on the free plan, by the way.
    Thanks for your help and best of luck for your channel!

    • @LucasPrigge
      @LucasPrigge  Год назад +1

      Thank you!
      I'm honestly not sure whether this is a premium or free feature, but the "Summary" view in TickTick allows you to see what tasks/notes you created when. More on that in this video: ruclips.net/video/mL0IBy7HknM/видео.html
