One of the most puzzling and annoying things about habit trackers is their refusal to include systems which handle multiple habits performed in a day, such as drinking 9 glasses of water. Lots of these habit trackers will make you enter "drink water" 9 times vs. just having a tallying system that allows you to increment the number of glasses you drank. Dr. Young if you perform this research again, it would be great to indicate whether the tracker in question has this feature or not.
Just if you didn't know, this thing for drinking a specific amount of water liters every day is a mith, different bodys have different needs and there is not a certain proved and held by the scientific community criteria that tells you a concrete amount of water that you have to drink. Just drink everytime you feel thirty and you'll be fine
the only app that does this is the “Heroic” app but they categorize stuff into 3 categories of athlete, creator, and friend. However, you can add custom targets so you add “drink water” if you want. you can see how many times you hit it that day, in total, and your day streak of hitting that goal
I can’t thank you enough for adding the Bonus Fabulous app and highlighting the CBT aspect to it. I use the same for regular therapy and hearing you say that this is the app’s approach was really helpful
I found Fabulous to be overwhelming. It never stops asking you questions and getting in your way. It has a zillion features, but I just didn't want most of them. Also, it's super-pushy about its subscription. At one point in the onboarding it pushed THREE "subscribe now" screens at me in a row. Also, it forces you to give it an email address. It's a stylish app, but it's a kitchen sink.
Very thankful for this as I was looking for habit trackers that didn’t cost too much! I kept running into RUclips videos that were all for apps charging $20 a month! Of course people were sharing affiliate links to them all so it all sort of felt like a big ad and not actual reviews of these apps.
@@DrCyberYT Have you found one? I downloaded productive only to realize that you can only track 5 habits there before going premium, I felt tented to pay for it because I liked the interface, but there may be something better for free, do you know any?
Patrick is looking for something where the phone rings and reminds him to do some chore just like Duolingo did. What habit app can do that? It would be fun if it was like a video game where once you achieve a few steps you don’t want to break the chain
I struggle to keep using an habit tracker after I start with it. Gamified solutions dont seem to work for me as they dont produce enough interest to keep tracking my habits, and even tho many of this habit trackers have a very polish and simplified interface, Im still struggling to even get into the app and mark my habits as completed. Do you know which one of this apps allows you to use Siri voice commands to mark certain items as completed each day? I think that would be more effective for me to actually keep using any of this apps.
Totally Random Question..... Can you sing Doc?? I just thought so since when you speak, your chest doesnt rise... which I remember is a good thing for a singer.. ?
Every Tracker is similar to each other. Are there some Trackers wehere you can set levels of difficulty like: easy = 2 min workout, medium = 10 min workout, hard = 30 min workout and so on?
Which of these apps sync between devices? Because sometimes I have my iPad with me but not my iPhone, and I want to be able to update as soon as I remember it. (Short attention span, you know)
Can anyone help me ? I am looking for an app which has a timer and when I finish a task and end the timer, that time slot will be uploaded into my google calendar for me to have a good overview of how I spent my day ?

Its so simple
Thanks so much, I loved DONE simple tracking interface. I aimed for something simple and I have got it!!

In TickTick you can setup 9 glasses of water
Productive's app inncludes that function, I´m using it.
In Done app you call also do that
there is not one in which it is not necessary to pay to not have a limit of available rooms, it is unfortunate
