Reminder! These won't let you start working!!!! Go do your work and while you are actually working and being consistent you might need some apps like these
Very cool to see where we've ended up since the 2020 Roam and Obsidian hype. Each one of these is tempting to switch to from Obsidian, except that my setup works well enough right now that I'm not sure it's worth making a switch when I'm sure there's even more development of this space right around the corner xD
One of the things I hate about all these apps is how it takes time to do the simplest things. The amount of tippy-tappy touches I have to execute on a daily basis just to get some notes linked or to add a quick task or reminder during work completely negates the use behind said apps. I work in a warehouse and I get a lot of calls from left and right and to unlock my phone, go to the app, add a new "anything", enter the details go from field to field etc and finally be done with that simple thing is kind of jarring. I usually end up frustrated after a few minutes because typing and autocorrect in general on Android is still a joke after all these years- and just grab a post-it to write it down there. On a good day, there are 3 or 4 post-its on on bad days, 10-15. Not doable with limited space and notebooks are annoying to carry around everywhere. I can't keep up the speed which is essential in these workplaces.
What I do is utilize apple notes for quick input. I have a daily quick note I drop all my info on as it happens. At the end of the day I take that raw info & plug it into the more advanced apps I use for the data.
Great video. I do not like subscriptions so for me a dealbreaker is that you can one time purchase the app,so that could be a standing part in your great videos from now on if you think it is a good idea.
Which is the best goal planning app you can suggest for doing this (which is not Obsidian or Notion): lets say I have a list of youtube study videos, books to go through before a specific date. i can allocate x hours per week and not more than y hours per day and want to devise a daily plan on how to achieve this. The app should track goal progress status, accountability and if I am not meeting daily targets, it should estimate the shift in deadline based on current completion status and daily growth plus it should tell me how much daily schedule needs to increase to catch the original deadline
we have one life time and in the best case if we are willing to learn one software better to learn the more versatile and compatible one which is Notion.
Obsidian provides a lot of freedom and a lot of plugins, its highly moddable. Theres also productivity and something else called toxic productivity. Productivity videos, books, etc have their niche, so whats the easiest way to make more videos ? By claiming a brand *new must watch * video , since you can make pretty much anything in obsidian, people will just overcomplicate something to the point its not even productive anymore just to make more youtube content. Just watch some youtube obsidian videos on thise people systems and watch how they waste more time in keeping everything tidy than in studying or actually being productive.
Bro why is your Arc sidebar so thin? You can’t even see half the tab titles 😅 I personally prefer to have it bigger and then press command s to hide it for an immersive feel. That way, I can still see tab titles as needed.
Haha lol.. ignorance is bliss it seems. That was not an ad my guy, that is the link of the book called Good energy, showing a preview inside the app itself.

Anti-productivity apps 😂
I'm here because I am doing work and keep forgetting things and need more organization. Let's go
My man sneaking in the most obscure Office reference of ALL TIME

Great video!!! I have seen a lot of tools out there, but never seen those. Really useful and very well edited video, thanks for sharing 🙏
Twos for the win! ✌
Capacities, have you tried them?
Webbased with an app. Also easy to use.
Thank you for suggesting this! Never heard of it before and it looks pretty cool!
Thank you so much for the info Mr. Shu. I will try the some.

i hv found your content very helpful....i love note taking and life organizing designing apps.... thank you so much
Correct me if I am wrong, all those apps are definetly not SIMPLE.
Came here after spending 2 hours in learning how to use Notion.
I like the Laufey reference 🙂
Watched the video for the apps, ended up falling asleep. Your voice can compete with that of Matt Walker the sleep diplomat. Quite calming
Do you use both timestripe and Twos? they seem like they do similar things. Or do you recommend picking between them?
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing these in this great summary video.
Really liked the apps. Thanks for the video. Was helpful
Bruh not the Anytype Human Pokedex! LOL. I love it!
Thanks for sharing those apps❤
Thanks for this video. Probably made my life easier. But hey why don’t you do something even newer you deserve just a lot more!
Thanks for your content! Would have loved more information about pricing tho
Great selection Shu, thanks for sharing.
I think i use Anytype. Notion look like complex to me.
What do you use to record the video?
Is the zoom-in effect to the cursor is during recording or like editing time thing?
Great video. I do not like subscriptions so for me a dealbreaker is that you can one time purchase the app,so that could be a standing part in your great videos from now on if you think it is a good idea.
Really nice videos, I will try each of them
great video. I am looking for something now. they all bit too complicated. I need something super easy and clean.
Twos is very Easy I know someone who got their non techy parent using it. Check out one of the Twos videos.
Use Twos. It's really easy to get compared to all other apps shown here.
i like the time stripe but there is some problem in notification on my android device i am not able to turn on notification
Thanks ❤
Hi Shu, do you know a way to share an availability calendar with other ppl? Thank you.
Which is the best goal planning app you can suggest for doing this (which is not Obsidian or Notion): lets say I have a list of youtube study videos, books to go through before a specific date. i can allocate x hours per week and not more than y hours per day and want to devise a daily plan on how to achieve this. The app should track goal progress status, accountability and if I am not meeting daily targets, it should estimate the shift in deadline based on current completion status and daily growth plus it should tell me how much daily schedule needs to increase to catch the original deadline
would u say notion should just be used if u feel u know how to use it or even so these are even more efficient?
I just use Apple notes and calendar if necessary 😂
Just so your medium post yesterday didn’t know you had a yt channel
anytype seems more complex to me than notion.
we have one life time and in the best case if we are willing to learn one software better to learn the more versatile and compatible one which is Notion.
Notion on mobile is pathetic though @@truthteller3024
how do i block or blacklist this “creator” from my feeds? youtube doesn’t seem to allow me to do that
This Collection was super amaxing
No more foldable?
which is the phone
Last one was the one I found more attractive. Thanks!
PS: Why do people hate Obsidian so much? I haven't tried it. I'm just curious.

a man who lacks purpose distracts himself with pleasure.
Don't you think it's too much and that you need an assistant to use this app because of number of things to look out for. It looks too complex.
THANK YOU for showing me twos platform! Notion was the worst thing ever
You can make Emacs anything you want it to be. -veteran programer.
background music is very irritating, its disturbed the voice
the parenthesis lol
❤❤
Anytype is not available on the web, so it contradicts your requirements at the beginning of the video.
Yes, but the apps syncs online very quickly (as if it were web)
How many of the developers of these apps paid for inclusion in this video?
1, as he declared Markup Hero as sponsored
Barely 15 seconds into the video a big ass ad pops up in the middle of one of his apps lol no thanks
Haha lol.. ignorance is bliss it seems. That was not an ad my guy, that is the link of the book called Good energy, showing a preview inside the app itself.
"That Aren't Notion or Obsidian" proceeds to show Notion and Obsidian alternatives
Well, yes. They are not Notion or Obsidian.
Are you using Ai to talk in english ?
