Chevy truck. LS swap. S10. turbo. no prep. cleetus McFarland. boostedboiz. whistlindiesel. npk.

Slick setup! We found we could drop the hotside diameter a ton and it didn't limit power and improved spool a ton. T6 1.32 S475. 2" off each manifold straight to each side of the divided housing. No "Y". Spool jumped 600rpm over the previous T4 S475 2.5" kit with a merge to 3". Made more power per pound wiht larger turbo housing as well. zero drawback to small piping if you stay under 900ish crank. Good luck!
If dual 2" is recommended for a 5.3L into a divided housing, then what would you recommend for a 2.3-2.5L engine? Dual 1-5/8? Make my primaries reduce down to two singles that are the same size as my primaries? (Primaries would be between 1-5/8 and 1-7/8 for my engine.)
Yes bro extra points for an actual air filter on your turbo as well! Blows my mind when people don't in my power mechanics class they showed how much dirt gets sucked up into a motor by not using the air cleaner and it's a pretty good bit fairly fast.
It’s 10 times worse with a rear mounted turbo in a truck bed or ute in my case with a constant low pressure zone behind the cab that holds dirty air
Ride a motorcycle and see how much do you eat. You better believe in air filter will be on mine. I cannot afford spare turbos and motors. A great job on the build kid.
Sounds like a lot of fun, nicely executed game plan on your build. My 94 Sonoma ext cab is set up much like yours suspension wise.

It's an older microsoft surface. As long as the tablet has windows, it should work.
Which caltrac kit are you using? I want those so i have an easy place to mount my shocks

Hell yes, I love it!! Simple and to the point. You should look into TRS (Thomas racing suspension) when your ready to upgrade. I have His coilovers on my foxbody and I have 9.5" of travel, but my car is being built for street race only. He makes a kit for the S-10 now to give you almost the same amount of travel. I don't know you would need all that travel if your on a glued track.

The hardest thing , and probably gonna give me the most problems is the oil return. One of those comp oil-less turbos would be nice lol

No, I bought wheels with the ford lug pattern.

Those aren’t stickers lol! I have seen this truck since he first bought it and have ridden in it a lot… it definitely pushes you back into your seat and keeps you there haha
How parts do you need run a iPad as a cluster?
It's a Microsoft surface. Any tablet that runs windows should be able to work.

What's the most boost it makes looked like 5 or 6 LBS in the video
It's 8psi on wastegate. Tires were spinning and I was only about 60% throttle in the video.
@@projectS10ls heck yeah the turbo sounds good too,is it laggy being it's in the bed or pretty responsive,I like them hidden setups, great looking build, just found your channel n subscribed looking forward to your content
@wecanfixit9342 The turbo lag isn't bad. If I knew what I was doing with the laptop it would probably be even better lol. I'm gonna try and put out more content. I need to do an update on the truck. I took it to ls fest, and just did king of the open road in Tucson, but didn't film much.
