@@melissaholmes6131 The 6.4 wasn’t really fords fault. They were bound by contract to buy engines from international/Navistar. That’s why if you look at a 6.0 or 6.4 valve cover you see the Navistar plate and not a ford plate. With the 6.7 being a true ford design they have proven that they can make a reliable diesel. The 6.4 is basically a International MaxxForce 7, witch is equally junk. Ford actually never paid Navistar for the 6.4 because of all the warranty claims they had to do on these trucks. There were some f-450’s that had 3 and 4 engines put in under warranty because they simply blew up from being used in the HD applications. International/Navistar actually has had several class action lawsuits brought against them for knowingly selling bad engines, the most notable case being the MaxxForce 13 in their medium and heavy duty trucks. They paid out 135 million dollars from that lawsuit. So, long story made short is that Navistar knew the gig was about to be up with Ford. They knew that ford was getting ready to dump them and make their own engine, so they gave them and engine that would make lots of power and sell trucks. They cut every corner that they could to try and save their share holders pockets from running dry but ended up shooting them selfs in the foot, shooting ford in the foot and the people who bought the trucks in the foot. I always tell people this. - Dodge didn’t make a good engine, Cummins did. Chevy didn’t make a good engine, Isuzu did. Ford didn’t make a junk engine, NAVISTAR did.

6.4 is a high price engine, not just Ford built the engine. However, the 6.4 Powerstroke was built by Navistar. It depends me, the 6.4 Powerstroke is the worst diesel engine ever because the emissions components and more parts are having issues. They're so unreliable engine. Don't get me wrong, i love the 08-10 6.4 trucks with a Cummins conversion. I was watching Bill Hewitt on RUclips. so, he's not going to fix on the 6.4 anymore and his truck got burst in flames.

Yes. Mine is full delete. Did the deletes at 95K got 136k now love it bought it at 62K the previous owner hauled his home to the Oil fields up North then used the truck as a service truck. I bought it in 2012 and drove it till I couldn't live with the embarrassment. The regen is the most embarrassing thing I have ever had to live with. So videoed my embarrassment of the government's failed science project and proceeded to delete it put a catch can on with a baffle in it ran a 1-inch ID heater hose to it and from it had to empty it twice in every 5K oil change Now it makes it to its 5K oil and filters change. Just re-done the trans put in a shift kit and upgraded the reverse to the new model. I love this truck and added an aftermarket cold-air intake kit with the delete. Went with the S&B tired of the censor calling for an air filter change. That stock air filter chocked that engine like a hangman's noose and no more fuel in the crankcase oil. Happiness 😂😂😂❤

I was wondering if it could’ve been a cracked head that was missed at the time it was studded. I haven’t even towed with it yet. I was out running errands and stopped for fuel.
