how?!?!? my ups guy still can’t deliver to my address on time and half my shit goes missing
Stickers showed up today, thanks boss :)
We all need a Brian
Are those just generic fuel line release tools? Or a special part for the 6.0?
@@scottstryder just a fuel line disconnect tool
Did the small line at the rear have the small filter in the line?
@@pwcoon no
I just bought myself an 2004.25 Excursion 6.0 and so far I love the truck. It’s exactly what my family needed with room for my six sons and the ability to tow my 30 foot camper. If I ever find myself in possession of $20k that’s not already spoken for, I’m thinking of making the 5 hour drive out to Tennessee, with a trunk full of parts, to have you put it under the wrench for me. I’m very impressed with your videos and knowledge of these engines!
@@TheShalomstead thanks bud. Come on, we’re here.
Adjust the rods: ruclips.net/video/Jo-7eRaa2H4/видео.html
I know you mixed up some jb weld and fixed those before putting that back on
@@kirkmcintyre794 no I did not. It’s still under warranty I didn’t want to smear shit all over it cause I want another tailgate.
Thanks!
Thats awesome. Good job brian and you guys, both looking out for the customer.
did a similar thing on our Kubota X1100C SxS
Will that tool help figure out if my ipr is bad with out hooking up a pressure gauge. And thanks for all the replies on other vids too
Pressure gauge won’t tell you if your ipr is bad anyways. You know your ipr is bad if everything else is functioning as it should be still have no HPO
Are you using the 35 dollar tool in this video too that you have to down load app on you phone or iPad
@@Andy-gw7hd I’d have to go back and watch if it was on my phone then yes if it was on my toughbook that’s autoenginuity
Fummins?
@@DoctorRickSanchez we sold it and made bank
Wouldn’t it be easier to change heads engine in cab
@@Andy-gw7hd not at all not to mention you can’t clean or do anything cleanly cause it’s tight and cramped. Can’t slide studs in either without undoing motor mounts and shifting engine side to side and have to remove hvac box. I would never do one with cab on
Ok thanks for reply
I’m chasing a high pressure oil leak on my 04.5 6.0 f350 and I have replaced rail nipple cups with HHC’s NC Kit and O’rings, injectors have been rebuilt entirely inside out, alliant power O’rings on the outside, inside Bitterroot parts even the spool valves, new HPOP,J tube is Ford brand I installed it about 6/7 months ago,but I will check it out this weekend, stand pipes are Ford brand (updated version),New ICP from Ford Dealer, and my truck when I start the truck and normal temp it creeps a bit to 84.7% and shuts off…. Also Brand New IPR ford motorcraft I purchased from Ford dealer, now what I’m I missing? I can hear a leak on the passenger side when I feed air through the IPR port, I mean it’s loud but I can’t trace it. Any ideas? I look at your videos and Diesel Tech Ron as well haven’t solved it yet.
@@orvilleortiz8616 if you hear air you have a leak. Use piling can to squirt oil on the rail while air testing see if you can hear it gurgling or see it spurting. If not could be your standpipe has failed oring.
Bought an xdp because of this issue, having super high deltas out of the box. I have two older USA oem coolers sitting here. Attempting to have them cleaned at a radiator shop. We will see how well that pans out for me, almost has to be better than this Chinese crap
If the front is hard to get to can you just leave it and replace from there back ?
@@brentrlarson4153 I always replace both gaskets and remove both
best video
This looks like such a pain I might be willing to drive from AZ and have you do it
@@fordman199620001 I’m here…come on
What in your opinion is a good reason to hold onto our ol' 6.0s vs buying the 6.7s? I have a 120,000 plus mile 2005 F350 originally owner crewcab swd shortbed. Sure the 1000lb plus of torque is crazy and I get passed by these guys towing fifth wheels and toy haulers.
I like them both. 11-16 6.7s are less problematic once they go on a weight loss and upgrade the cp4 to a dcr.
Full send
Exhaust mounts doing not alot as well got the rubber and a thing just hanging out😅 I'd check over the whole sucker
She was rough. Exhaust was dumped under the cab with a big turn down. I fixed what he approved. Didn’t want anything else done.
which model loader is that? we want to put a loader on our 4610 but its near impossible to find a ford one.
@@thevoodooview bushhog QT, not sure of the model number
Holy chit you not
They will definitely hold if they were purchased from Harbor Freight.😂 Really people, frickin zip ties!!! 🤦♂️
that’s true you are the best
Exellent
Love automatic garage. Your videos has helped me out a lot with my 6.0psd
I don’t know if you saw but not to long ago bulletproof diesel came out with a oil cooler they say it’s made in the same factory that was made in the usa
@@K2007_6 bullet proof diesel didn’t come out with any new oil cooler they bought all of them except for this pallet I bought. When they sell all theirs that’s it, they will all be gone. I talked to them myself. Exact same oil cooler I was selling here.
@@AutomedicGarage O okay
@@K2007_6 I had to order some after mine were gone. Exact same stamping and international navistar instructions in the box
What brand of sides are those?😮
@@abeodez751 sides?
Dang it Bobby
Wow...just parked at the truck stop in Madison, Florida and boom! Another upload! ..btw I just bought my first diesel last week.
That's fun....
Thanks for the video. Saved it to my 7.3 repair playlist. New 7.3 owner here. Would that drain bolt help drain the tube before removing the back housing and spilling antifreeze everywhere? 3:17
Great video. Just subscribed.
Love the 6.O . . . ! Thankz for the video
What about the PPE?
@@jesset4987 what about it? It’s made in China. It’s around $200, you can’t expect quality @ that price
@@AutomedicGarage I thought at one point PPE was made in the USA
How long does it take the cab to warm up on days like that after cold start?
@@Wicked_RotF30 lots of variables to consider. What thermostat? Outside temp? do you have a ebp valve still? High idle or normal idle?
Good deal man. I will check those things. Thanks!
Is there another scan wifi scan tool you recommend. The one you have is unavailable
THANKS!
It's unfair the f150 got a normal water pump
I’ve always had good luck with the smoke bombs.
Im assuming this truck wouldnt start and stay running on ether do to no oil at all on the low pressure side
@@chuckhaskett1570 don’t ever use ether
You guys are awesome 👍👍 keep it coming
its definitely just blowing right out past the hose unless you have something stuffed up the pipe beside the hose which you didnt show in video so id assume no so worthless
@@b16m1k3187 had aluminum foil wrapped around end of hose but you can’t totally block the exhaust and I also verified flow through the hose before I put it in the tunnel
I don’t think there’s enough monoxide in the exhaust these days to hurt a fly.
@@davidleonard8369 that trucks 23 years old with no epa emissions control, it’s got some
😂 you're not actually that dumb are ya?
That doesn't look too efficient. Need a wider hose
That was a fun little job.
