Hi Imran, love your videos. What is the stuff you fry and add at the end to deepen the red colour? I couldn't make it out.
Hey that is called “Alkanet Root” if you cook it in oil for a bit it releases a nice red color!
I'm cooking this now by breaking down the video....looks like shoulder of lamb....its 1 and half cup of yogurt..2 tablespoonsof ginger garlic 50/50paste freshly blended not jar if you can. 2tomateos....ginger powder 1/4 teaspoon = pinch is my approach....the rest is listed in the video...if I missed something let me know....
Try using the transcript provided it's really helpful....I'm using boneless leg of lamb but I'm sure he uses shoulder...anyone?
We are using leg in this video but you could also use shoulder!

You could use beef or goat!
How do I caramelise the onions before they burn? I sometimes overcook them.
Try not too fry the onion for too long before you cook it with the rest of the ingredients. You could also add a bit of water when you are frying the onions before they caramelise to prevent it from burning.
UPDATE 2!!!!....IM DOING 2 CURRIES ONE WITH HALF CUP YOGURT ONE WITH 1 & 1/2 CUP YOGURT....HE SAYS BOTH!! SO I'LL LET YOU KNOW WHICH ONE WORKS
