As a civvy, I've visited this site, it is, when one unerstands it's usage quite an impressive instalation.....training is everything when it comes to completing the task and ensuring the safety of troops.
I don't see any tower-blocks during the simulation , which might definitely be the case in reality - having Royal Marines rescuing a hostage 20 levels or more from the ground floor , would DEFINITLEY add realism to the exercise

@@G_micky Pay shouldn't be the deciding factor into signing up, that would draw in the wrong people. Best thing is to increase advertising and raise young peoples interest into our forces. Maybe get serving troops into schools, but really only another Falklands conflict could save our numbers. It's a real shame.

We only have so many troops so have to make them multi skilled but more importantly, you might go into a situation thinking it's one thing but that can change completely once you're on the ground.

i hope they have completed training to 'make safe' a nuclear power station, it may be needed very soon! (maybe an SAS job but you get my drift!).
