It'd make more sense if she was a villain in a way. Katy, Ryme, Tulip, and Grusha have some discomfort towards her, while Larry EXPLICITLY states he dislikes her.
Oh wow-that’s a great point too! She also can be a little cold. Like when she tells Penny to work for the league when Penny says she wants to binge anime 😂
@@lumiosepost well in defense of Geeta there Penny did hacked into the Paldea pokemon leauge to take LP from them and then distributed those to us and never mentioned it to us 💀
@@lumiosepost also if you tell her Larry was your favorite gym leader, she supposedly reacts differently. I don’t know for certain since I answered with Iono, but if you can find a clip of someone doing so, please get back to me on it!
She's the chairwoman of the pokemon league, board of director of the academy, and is boss to the gym leaders. No person holding this much power can be a good person. They might be setting her up to be a secret villain for the dlc. Think: Rose, Lusamine, Giovanni, Lysandre
Just gunna act like every champion before now don’t exist, we’ve had quite a few powerful individuals not turn out as bad guys, not to mention she has had 0 build up or signs of anything like that. It’d be poor to just spring that with no build up. Edit: Woth your examples all those Bad guys had build up and hints to their true intent earlier in the story, Geeta gets none and is only ever shown to be a diligent chairwoman and league rep.
No build up yet, but we may see her play a larger role in the DLC. Also some foreshadowing, Larry is afraid of her, the other gym leaders don't seem to like her, and her Glimmora definitely has ties to the third legendary.
Would actually be cool a Champion being evil in a game. They have so cool Pokémon Adventures Manga stories in Pokémon and its a ahame none of those ideas were implied in a game. For example in Gen 1 The Elite 4,and four of the gym leaders were evil. 4 of the gym leaders were in Team Rocket. And in Gen2 Pryce was in Neo Team Rocket literally kidnapping kids forcing them to do evil things.
Yep, agree! I mean, there's so much potential yet still to the lore of Paldea. And that's even before adding in more structures and Buildings we can enter and chat to people that they should give Us for DLC. Also - She has a lot of 'Constellar' or 'Space' references to her attire. Can't be a passing coincidence!
Also its good to note that glimmora and Geeta design are really similar, even their eyes are similar, maybe the prof. design Geeta after the mon that is probably closest to the tera phenomena
@@ritualking6662 She could have made so much money selling 'Glimmora Shampoo' products to Alfornada & Levincia or something fondly goofy that Pokémon likes to do lol - missed opportunity for the Department Store there. I hope DLC can add stuff like that in.
I can't say I believe Geeta is an AI. Champions tend to have over-the-top designs and personalities, they're not your average person after all. I feel they were going for a prim and pristine look, a symbol of authority and control, so she might appear as "too perfect" looking of a person. However I do feel she might have something to do with Area 0 and even be connected to Professor Sada/Turo somehow. Nemona pointing out Glimmora being Geeta's Ace in Area 0 mustn't be a coincidence.
Ill be honest Geeta doesnt even look much like a Champion. Yes, Paldea has multiple "Champions" so it starts to blend a bit. But Geeta has nothing to show shes a Champion. Lance, Leon, Iris and Wallace look very flamboyant and grand, Cynthia has a very confident appearance, Diantha is essentially a wolf in sheeps clothing, Steven looks professional but still like he means business, Alder looks like hes more of a father figure but still has the flamboyant design most Champions have, and as for previous Champions Mustard has a very cold and stern appearance but still a lovable side a lot of Champions tend to have and Peony is stern as steel but just like Alder and Mustard he has a soft spot, especially for Peonia. Im not saying its evidence that Geetas an AI, but the fact that even as Champion she doesnt look the part at all and certainly doesnt have the traits of a Champion. Shes not very strong, her team is terrible (Leons team was so much better because it had actual threats like Dragapult, Aegislash and Haxorus) and she seems... Way too cold to be a Champion. We also get very little from her before her battle. Leon got a WHOLE GAME to give him a character, Lance got more personality because he was in like 5-6 games lol, Alder got development in the anime, Cynthia got a bit of development in DPP and BW just continued it a little, Diantha got a lot more in the anime like Alder did, Steven as well, Iris got development from both games and anime, and Mustard and Peony got entire storylines dedicated to themselves in the SwSh DLCs. Geeta? So far almost nothing. Its strange to say the least
@@varuhash50 I Disagree Geeta Definitely Looks Like A Champion , Iris Didn’t Look Nothing Like A Champion She Was A CHILD .. They Basically Gave Her The Throne For NO REASON !
Why does the story need Nemona to say Glimmora is the Pokemon of Geeta in area zero? Because the writer wants to tell you...be careful with Geeta, there is something wrong with this woman
So here are my theories: Geeta just forgot her actual pokemon and was stuck with some randos she caught to complete the pokedex. Geeta’s true team is comprised of legendaries and she has to hide it because who wouldn’t be suspicious of her having the team of a 10 year old with gameshark. Larry was the previous champion and hates her just because she took the champion title from him.
Well heres what i think... Geeta was just holding back, yes i know, she literally said she is incapable of holding back in pokemon battles but that is because she was using her DLC team in her past pokemon battles, so geeta found a way to hold back by using a bad team
Another thing to add is that the TM for Tera Blast requires glimmet parts to make, meaning Glimmet/Glimmora is definitely tied to the terastellization phenomenon somehow. BUT there's a huge problem with your theory. The professors AI specifically mentioned that his AI technology only works INSIDE the crater. If they left, they would cease to function.
The twist in the DLC is that Geeta let Great Tusk/Iron Treads escape area zero so the chain of events started. Once the AI is no longer in control of the "time machine" she can do whatever villain plan she had on her mind. I hope for rematch with her and nemona with their stronger team. Also geeta's ace glimmora is just there for the sake of the typing of the elite four and the champion to coincide with the titan pokemons typing. Rika for Quaking Earth, Poppy for Lurking steel, Larry for Open sky, Hasel for false dragon, and geeta for stony cliff.
And she was "grooming" you the player this entire time like a Creep would but it will leave that up to us adults to think on for this is a kids game lol and she is clearly the Leader of The Evil Team in the Horizons anime for they carry her symbol/The Paldean All Seeing Eye of their league.
I do believe there's something more to her character, and her being an AI could definitely be a possibility, but I don't think she was the robot assistant the professor's books talk about. In English they don't mention the assistant's gender, but in the Spanish translation they refer to the assistant with she/her pronouns (in scarlet) or he/him pronouns (in violet) depending on the version, which makes sense if they were talking about the AI professors
If she is not a robot, I feel that she originated from another region. That could explain why her features and mannerisms are slightly different from the people in Paldea. It could be possible that she was called in to take the role of the Chairwoman while she was the champion of her old region. Really hope they touch a bit on her origin in the DLCs.
I believe she encountered the third legendary and it materialized her imagination to become champion. She’s not really that strong compared to other champions like Iris, Alder, and Cynthia. She doesn’t feel like the strongest
There's a theory going around that the mysterious third legendary that is connected to the terrastal phenomenon is somehow able to alter and create things in reality based on strong dreams, and we've also seen that some Pokemon pretend to be humans, given Geeta's......... unusual presentation (even by Pokemon standards) I wonder if she is somehow an avatar of this mysterious third Pokemon. Something that it created for itself to explore the region while it's body stayed in the crater.
Yeah AI Sada/Turo weren't created to replace the profs when they died. It clearly states in the game that they created the AI robot versions because the only substantial help they could get for their goals would be themselves.
Could be. Professor Sada did say in the game that she is programmed with the battle styles of all Paldea champions, which the information can only come from the Pokemon League.
I think the new assistant they were referring to in the journals was Clavell. It makes the timeline of the team star events makes sense as well. Clavell was working with the prof until the staff of the academy quit and was replaced with the current staff, that’s how Clavell knew about the time machine being in the works but not knowing about it being finished. I think Jaqc is also implicated in whatever is going on with the Prof/Geeta/Clavell given that he also worked with Clavell before, created the dex info on the paradox pokemon, and is chief researcher on Tera Raids around paldea, presumably on behalf of the pokemon league. (Also his glasses are hexagon shaped, definitely alluding to a connection to area zero)
The Expedition takes place *15 Years before* the Events of _Scarlet/Violet,_ with the _Creation of the Tera Orb_ dated at *10 Years before. Sada/Turo* has had _at least 12 Years_ to work on designing and Building the 'Time Machine', and Clavell only became Director *1.5 Years* before the games - around a similar time to _when Sada/Turo met their unfortunate demise..._
1 hole in your theory of Geeta being an AI is that the AI professor states that technology isn't advanced enough to create AI and the only reason they are possible is due to the effects of the crystals in Area 0 and that they cannot function outside of Area 0. So Geeta being an AI is not possible because she exists outside Area 0. I do agree that Geeta may have worked with Turo/Sada in Area 0 at some point.
Maybe the weapon gave the third legendary the power to bring imagination to life. The expedition team materialized the paradox mons because they felt they would discover some crazy stuff down there
I really doubt Geeta is a robot, let alone the first one. The AI professor is the peak of the technology, but even then that's only possible because of the Tera energy down at the bottom of Area Zero. If they can't even step out of the lab to deactivate the locks, then there's no way a robot Geeta can simply walk around in Paldea, even with a Glimmora in her pocket. But she's still an overall very suspicious character, who clearly chose a worse team because she has a vested interest in making more champions, which would be hard if she used strong pokemon like Palafin and Gholdengo, leading with Glimmora and saving Kingambit with Sucker Punch as her last mon
Geeta is a Sanskrit name, and noting her features and complexion, her being all long and thin isn't suspicious to me, that's just her being an attractive Indian Woman in a suit. 😅 Acknowledging the possibility of her being a Robot, however, is not exactly plausible, as the AI Professor explains the Zero Lab's quantum computing with the augmentation of the Tera Crystals makes their simulated human intelligence possible, which is why they can't leave Area Zero. For Geeta to be a Robot, her Machine brain must be a lot less complicated to not necessitate such technology, or rather, her Technology is far more advanced to not rely on an external computing processor. If anybody remembers the Battle Chateau in X&Y, there is a Robotic Maid Trainer tossed in as a Gag to check if we were paying attention to their lines. If acknowledged as Canon, then there is more advanced AI outside the Crater of Paldea, in Kalos no less.
They also had a time machine in gen 2 and were actively exploring the dream world in gen 5 not to mention Porygon being a thing and other artificial pokemon being a thing. So it definitely is a fact that Tera crystals are not needed for such advanced computer processing in the pokemon world.
Big thought here for me, you know how when we finish the dex off we get the beast balls as a final item when its all said and done? I honestly think that she will tie into it, since the portal is down there I think she's tied to them (her appearance is very samesies like to them) I think she's going to use that and bring in new beast pokemon we have never seen before and have a massive part in s/v dlc
I think she was supposed to be more of a model trainer than a strong one. Nemona even said that every trainer should look to be her, even though Nemona is the one that beat her. This would make sense since she is also the chairwoman of the Pokémon league, has a strong and respectful presence to her and lacks the childishly nature that other champions had. I personally really like her character
Great theory,, Not entirely convinced but id like to say to those saying an AI robot cant leave the crater... I think she has a glimmora as an ace for that exact reason. Glimmora eat the crystals that the Ai draw power from, so glimmora/glimmet probably have a way to track and find a source when Geeta needs to replenish. Her rigid and calm movement used as a way to conserve energy. And her head big as hell, might be hiding a revavroom in that dome piece
It's possible she's just there because she's the chairwoman. If anyone remembers Alder, alder didn't take the title of champion, he was given the title Edit: yes he is the champion. Replay the game and remember you DONT BATTLE HIM until the post game. It's dumb. But ghetsis, and N are both not champions. You could say N is but after he beats alder he flies away never to be seen again.
@@melvondrewhite2674 "Alder (Japanese: アデク Adeku) is the Champion of the Unova region's Pokémon League in Pokémon Black and White." -Bulbapedia Again, I am right
The simple truth is she isn’t the top champion of the Pokémon league Nemoma is and later if you beat her you are. It bothers me that they treated this elite four and champion positions in this game as job positions rather then actual rank positions in the league based on skills. Greeta should have been dethroned and knocked down into the elite four and the weakest of the elite four should no longer be in it. That’s the way it’s been basically explained till now.
But then that creates a paradox for her, if she gets bumped down to the elite 4 she’d be the weakest and get kicked out anyway, I think Hassel should be the champion instead
There's a chance Larry's facade joke is actually about the gym leaders being facades themselves (since they have 2 jobs) and Geeta being a facade champion.
I have a theory. Her main Pokémon is Gilmora. And that Pokémon is from the crater which looks like the machine as created. And I do disagree that she is a robot because she is acting like heath but hiding it. if you look at her glove she has this symbol the elite four do and the gym macitence . Also, she is probably controlled by the disk Pokémon to do its dirty work. Just like heath and Asda and turo .it’s like in movies where this ominous figure gets someone controls them and uses them to do their dirty work and gather more power to release their power. Maybe the disk Pokémon is more than we think because it looks like it’s in a pokeball and we know that pokebals keep Pokémon inside and we can choose to let it out or not but the poke all the disk Pokémon is in doesn’t look like it can be realesied so easily
I actually think Geeta's a pokemon or like the astral projection of one that's controlled by something like the "disc pokemon" people theorize will be in the dlc. I think it explains the unnatural look of her appearance as a whole (she kinda looks like a malamar or an alien of some sort) and I think she may be 4d chess-ing the people around her to do her bidding and create that pokemon's "desired reality" (corrupting space time as a whole) and manipulated the professors and Clavell. And maybe Clavell is still stuck kinda working with her (As well as the gym leaders) kind of against their will. The only ones privey to what she really is though may have been the folks in area 0 since Clavell warns you to keep business on the DL it could be because Geeta has secret business of her own going on down there that the professor's own corrupted wishes got in the way of, and Clavell, being the "dad-teacher" just doesn't want you to peeve her off (just like the gym leaders don't like her much but try not to cross her cause she's like a stringent boss) It makes sense she could be a robot too, but I think unless she strayed from the professor because she too disagreed the idea was "safe and logical" then she wouldn't be an ai the professor made rather I think she maniuplated the professor and the others around her. Clavell doesn't dislike her but seems wary of her, and the others she is so tough on dislike her. The robot idea works but I feel like to reveal that later in a dlc they're going to have to give that a pretty interesting reason to be so "off" they did the robot reveal and they only have 3 potential pokemon the imagination pokemon and the disc pokemon, so I wonder if she plays a role in that. and in that regard I think that "time machine" isn't actually a time machine at all. It's the pokemon and it sent Geeta to rope humans into interacting with it to "grant their wishes" I think Clavell either is hiding he escaped that expedition and research BECAUSE of her and because it was dangerous, or may be hiding who he really is and that he was a product of it (since some theorize that he may BE Heath. ) Either way I kinda think that time machine or Geeta herself IS that secret unamed pokemon that warps reality
Actually I thought the notes about the assistant were a reference to Clavel, bcuz at the begining of the game in one of Raiforts classes, she talks about how Clavel was once part of a expidition/research team in area zero alongside Turo/Sada before he became the Director of the academy. And when we first meet Turo/Sada with Clavel in his office and they tell you the legends came from Area zero the first thing Clavel says after the exchange is "No Sada/Turo, don't tell me you actually did it" or something along those lines implying Clavel more or less knew about the time machine or the research they were doing in regards to it at the very least.
He knew about the legendary you have which would mean he already knows about the Time Machine. That line is probably referring to the proffesor building an AI. It’s possible that the assistant that left the proffesor was the director
It’s definitely glimmora. Why else would she use the glimmora as her final Pokémon lol. Either an AI or the worst champion ever from a battle perspective.
This would explain why the professor AI sought out you instead of the champion because it the Champion is an AI and the system cannot go against the system
I had guessed she was Nemona's older sister. They don't reference it from what I remember, however there is a line Nemona had mentioning she has a sister 🤔 You'd think Nemona might mention it, but imagine living in her sister's shadow her whole life and meeting someone new who had no idea who Geeta is. Would she really bring her up at all? Or would she just down play her relationship to Geeta when she got caught talking to her? 🤔
Sadly, in the other localizations, she uses polite speech when adressing her. Like shes talking to an adult/her boss. "Usted" in spanish and "Sie" in german
Geeta definitely has some greater agenda in the games, for sure. She is the only champion in any of the games that I know of that actually cheers for you in their battle. Is she just that bad? Then again you have the fact that no one seems to like her, except Nemona. But Nemona beat her... And apparently even held back. In what occupation can you be beaten by two children and still remain in your position? Even Blue became champion after beating lance, and he was in no position maturity wise to be in charge of anything. Lol
There has to be more to her character in DLC, otherwise I think she would have been the biggest waste of a champion if she was only used to make the Nemona fight the big one. It would be cool if she was AI who didnt really know what it was doing, since her team is so poorly constructed. It doesnt really make sense from a power perspective how she is the top and only Nemona beat her. It feels like most of the elite 4 could beat her if they really wanted to.
I mean. She is referred to as 'La Primera', in Spanish, this means 'The first' or 'the first one', surely meant to mean that she's the Number One Champion, but, maybe it's more indicative of being the first of something 👀👀👀👀👀
What if Geeta might be the 3rd legendary pokemon mentioned in the logs inside the crater? Her hair resembles a big shell and her name has 6 letters like the legendary unamed pokemon seems to have. Might be why she has so little info on her thus far and might be a reveal into the dlc
I was suspecting they will dive deeper into Geeta later in generation 9. Either in DLC and/or the anime. Was wondering why they’re not giving her that much screen time and lore for her, if she’s supposed to be “the strongest in Paldea”.
I think it's to make a point that it's not the true ending of the journey. It's just something you do on the way to finding the true treasure. Even the Nemona rival battles are more important to the main plot, since she wants someone to be on the same level as her. This is why she helps you in Area Zero. Geeta is made to sound like a big deal by the Nemona dialogue, but it doesn't feel like that. I think that's on purpose.
Here from the other video! Mate you're absolutely spot on. Geeta is either the new assistant as an interloper on the project.... Or she's a robot like you mention. Great vids!
AI is possible in this gen that's very true but this also can go back to unova cause of the studio w the metal ttar and the "movie pokemon" in the studio for all we know unova could be some type of future in pokemon too linking to Paldea Probably not possible I've just been thinking alot about it can you cover this topic if possible
The theory is can't be true because both professor AI said that they can't leave the place because the tera cristal power them. And if Play game again focus on text in there last battle in can help in understand that they can't leave the Lab or creater.
Actually had the same thought, with the only difference, that I thought she is or is part of the third secret legendary Pokemon, observing the people as a champ.
I don't think she is a robot, AI Turo/Sada states that their existence is only possible in area Zero, right? Otherwise she is likely affiliated with all this
A theory that I would like to see someone explore is that the paradox pokémon are not from past or future. Reason I say this that it was hinted at by Arven after the postgame that these pokémon were encountered before Turo/Sada made the time machine. What if the legendary that created the crystals ability is to bring someones imagination to life or make dreams reality.
Perhaps Greeta imagined being a champion and thus became one. This would explain why she’s stiff with her battle moves because she’s not truly seasoned. And why they make the player rechallenge the gyms. That also gives her time to set up whatever goes in the DLC
@@stonalisa3729 maybe the wish only granted her the title of Champion, but nothing else, explaining why her team is so awful, almost as if she just picked whatever mon she considered seemingly strong from each area of Paldea + Glimmora
I don't think Geeta is an AI... I have a few theories on who Geeta is... 1. She was born inside the Area Zero itself... And her parents was one of the explorers in the past... 2. She's a reincarnation of the king of the old paldean empire... 3. She's the avatar of the 3rd legendary pokemon... And i think she's not fighting us to her full potential on our first encounter... I'm not going to make fun her for pokemon team because with the right hands they can be useful... But our fight with just feels underwhelming... As if she chose those except her final one just to let us win... I'm starting to think she made us champion on purpose...
wasn't there something about her saying that she doesn't even need to give her pokemon commands in the champion battle? which is something that might be difficult to do under stress/heat of battle, or if she's not human and thus doesn't really have that "bond" that ppl often talk about. she's also a graduate of the academy iirc, so its possible that she was sent there to learn more about pokemon and how to battle and just wound up standing out a lot more from learning and optimizing strategy. also i feel like there was some connection between her and the headmaster but i don't recall at all. it *would* make penny's "punishment" make more sense, however, because it seemed a very weird twist to me that she took an almost personal interest in penny's hacking skills
also her design has wigged me the heck out and felt very stand-out amongst all the other designs and models in paldea of important npcs, but her hair is just so unbelieably weird to me bc it has this like. pheramosa drape to it but also kinda looks like kelp to me with the waves. like, its very 2 dimension and no fluff. like pheramosa's hair/veil drape.
I swear Volo gave everyone in the pokemon fanbase trust issues that were all theorizing who could be the villain or a future villain pre and post game release 💀
The lab assistant argument makes zero sense as the books also specifically mention the professor wanted "there to be 2 of them" She also shows zero propensity or interests for any form of science If anything it would make more sense that she was made later specifically as a "battle droid" as it would explain how the AI professor has access to the data of Paldea's past champions specifically, because Geeta administers the test to collect said data
Geeta is a Malamar creating the illusion she is a woman. Evidence of this is superficial because her design makes her look like a malamar. I personally was disappointed after I battled her because when I first saw her I was thinking she looked like a malamar and I didn’t look at any leaks so I didn’t know malamar wasn’t in the game. Her hair has yellow lines that are only on a malamar and she is at the right height so it’s definitely possible that she is a malamar
Geeta's eyes never sit right with me. Also her legs are so freaking spindally and long, not natural looking at all. Also yes, this is by far the weakest champion of all time, I beat her with 1 Pokemon (skeledirge)
Stiffer movements make sense in a suit. Maybe she knows about Area Zero as the leader of the Pokémon League. The only thing that makes sense is perhaps her title “La Primera” being the “The First” but that could also be a reference to her being the best of the Champions. Side note: Why all these theories about Geeta hiding something nefarious? Not just your channel but all over RUclips? Part of me wonders if it’s because she’s a brown woman.
For me, it was really a thing of us really not knowing much about her character. Like I can name a lot of traits of other champions. Cynthia is a huge archaeology and sweets fan, Iris was tutored by Drayden, Steven loves to research stones, etc. but we were given nothing on Geeta. I don’t necessarily think she’s evil. But I think there’s A LOT more to her character than what we know. And I think we will learn more about her in dlc. Also, to me, her design is so different from the other characters. There’s nothing wrong with being tall and skinny-I mean, heck, most models are. But she seems kind of disproportionate with her legs-which, couple with the stiff movements, made me kind of go “oh she’s a robot” but you do have a solid point on the stiff movements
I clicked this expecting a roast. Like. Shes one of the worst trainers. But managed to scam her way into being the " head champion " forever. Like. She admits to going all out. Gets bodied by multiple people. But is still the " head champion " no matter how much better you are.
Dude honestly it sucks how bad she is. Most underwhelming champion EVER. Even if she had Glimmora out first and Kingambit last, it would be better. But man…what are you, a champion, doing with a Gogoat on your team!?
@@lumiosepost i destroyed her using ceruledge. Every single hit was super effective. Until the tarastalizing. But then my cat wrecked that in a single super effective too. 6 shots. 6 kills. 0 effort.
Speaking of which, what the hell is up with her team? why is a champion using pokemon like gogoat, veluza, and avalugg. Her opener even has quick attack. What is she doing using quick attack?!
maybe she is actually sada and turo’s daughter but she had her memory wiped and forgot everything but when she was young Sada gave her glimmet and she is described to be absent minded and als are not absent minded
Indeed, somethings just _not right_ about a Champion using a Gogoat (lol, still can't get over it); using a Toxic Debris Pokemon _last_ - and yes while that is her 'Ace', wouldn't a proper Champion want to really ''test'' you by turning the tables a bit? She seems far too straightforwards, 'fake nice' & - _robotic._ Also, the obvious curiosity is that _why_ Would the Pokémon League (Her league as ''Top Champion'') be so close to Area Zero?
Major flaw in the theory. The AI are stuck in Area Zero, drawing on Terastal Energy to survive, they can’t leave the lab so Geeta would not be able to move around at all. Secondly, why would the professor make a Geeta bot, just to… get rid of it? That’s pretty pointless, and pretty big of a claim to just make when it could have just been the Professor AI that we already know exists.
Most Champions, Gym Leaders and Elite Four in the Mangas were Genocidal Maniacs like Lance or were associated with Team Rocket and were bad to the bone....except Brock, Misty and Erika and later on Blaine. The Orange Island Staff were just as bad lol as it was in Johto. Leon really has aged well now lol.
Same way Great Tusk/Iron Treads did I’d imagine. Or by using the warp panels in the research station (this would predate them being shut off). And I imagine her Glimmora is what allows her to stay powered outside of Area Zero
well if she does turn out to be the big bad and final fight of the dlc, i hope she ditches the damn gogoat and veluza at least, like wtf was that team? She made Diantha look tough lmfao
I’ve seen a few people talking about this theory, but it honestly just feels like a big stretch to me.. As someone already pointed out, Turo/Sada’s notes are 100% talking about the AI of themselves because they use “she” or “he” depending on the version of the game you get too. These research notes are also meant to be seen as you’re going down the crater, leading up to the plot twist of Arven’s parent having been dead for years and the AI replacing them. This is just foreshadowing for this moment in particular. I also feel like her body language just shows how much she’s battled over time and how much experience she has, that maybe she doesn’t mind losing and doesn’t have too much interest, so she might appear stiff. However, I DEFINITELY agree that Geeta is hiding something and there’s more to her than she lets on. The way she talks to you in the game seems a bit too normal & friendly. You find out a lot about her character much later in the game as well, such as the fact that she’s not only the top champion, but the chairwoman of the academy as well- which your friends in the game are surprised to learn too. I feel like at some point she could have at least done research in the crater- which would explain why she has a Glimmora. Maybe she was on the team with Turo/Sada initially and dropped out, or was even on Heath’s original expedition 200 years ago and got mixed in some time travel herself (which would also make her as a person a paradox to explain).
Yeah, I’m the English version they do not refer to the assistant by gender (made sure to check both versions before recording). But yeah, in the Spanish versions they do use the corresponding pronouns so that part is flawed. But definitely agree. She’s hiding something
It'd make more sense if she was a villain in a way. Katy, Ryme, Tulip, and Grusha have some discomfort towards her, while Larry EXPLICITLY states he dislikes her.

@@Raisuru None of them really speak that poorly of her, at most she's just a really strict boss
Oooh-great point that I totally didn’t even catch. I like that!
I believe that Geeta is actually a pokemon herself and none other than Glimmora.
I can agree there! Even if not an AI, I do believe something more will be done with Geeta in DLC
@@melvondrewhite2674 she was the 8th Gym leader in BW so it makes sense that she got strong enough to dethrone Alder by B2W2
The professors Sada and Turo are one of the fewest ones to actually beat her , you can see that in a book in the academy
Geeta is simply tall dark and handsome
Handsome? Bruh.
Simp!!! 😠
Why does the story need Nemona to say Glimmora is the Pokemon of Geeta in area zero? Because the writer wants to tell you...be careful with Geeta, there is something wrong with this woman
So here are my theories:
Geeta just forgot her actual pokemon and was stuck with some randos she caught to complete the pokedex.
Really cool observation! I love the little details they put in this game
Why Quaking Earth is for Rika ?
I'm in English and I noticed that they called the assistant a guy
@@ethankiger4385 what if the assistant is the other games “prof” 🤔
@@KodexKat yeah thats what I thought cause I'm pretty sure I read they both exist in both games
Oooh. I like this
Cynthia pro
There's a theory going around that the mysterious third legendary that is connected to the terrastal phenomenon is somehow able to alter and create things in reality based on strong dreams, and we've also seen that some Pokemon pretend to be humans, given Geeta's......... unusual presentation (even by Pokemon standards) I wonder if she is somehow an avatar of this mysterious third Pokemon. Something that it created for itself to explore the region while it's body stayed in the crater.
I think that Geeta is either an AI or a Chairman Rose-kinda corrupt boss.
I really hope to see what the DLC will bring.
Yeah AI Sada/Turo weren't created to replace the profs when they died. It clearly states in the game that they created the AI robot versions because the only substantial help they could get for their goals would be themselves.
It is a little odd that she even became Champion. Poppy's steel types can wall a lot of her team and Hassel's dragons can definitely overpower them...
A magikarp with only splash actually stands a chance against her just about. 😔
Could be. Professor Sada did say in the game that she is programmed with the battle styles of all Paldea champions, which the information can only come from the Pokemon League.
Maybe it’s just me but my first thought when I seen her was that she’s a Zoroark in disguise. She has all the physical traits of one just about
I think the new assistant they were referring to in the journals was Clavell.
I think Az accidentally open a portal to multiverse, that's why some paradox Pokémons are appearing in paldea region.
Maybe the weapon gave the third legendary the power to bring imagination to life. The expedition team materialized the paradox mons because they felt they would discover some crazy stuff down there
My guess, Geeta was a lab assistant in Area Zero. That's why she has Glimmora
But those AIs can't leave area zero...
Acknowledging the possibility of her being a Robot, however, is not exactly plausible, as the AI Professor explains the Zero Lab's quantum computing with the augmentation of the Tera Crystals makes their simulated human intelligence possible, which is why they can't leave Area Zero.
Only Sada/Turo AI are the only canon robots
We also know the dlc is coming due to the giant blocked spot. At the edge of the map
Big thought here for me, you know how when we finish the dex off we get the beast balls as a final item when its all said and done?
I honestly think that she will tie into it, since the portal is down there I think she's tied to them (her appearance is very samesies like to them)
I think she's going to use that and bring in new beast pokemon we have never seen before and have a massive part in s/v dlc
I was getting huge malamar vibes from her expecting some secret cult in the school but nope
It's possible she's just there because she's the chairwoman. If anyone remembers Alder, alder didn't take the title of champion, he was given the title
Edit: yes he is the champion. Replay the game and remember you DONT BATTLE HIM until the post game. It's dumb. But ghetsis, and N are both not champions. You could say N is but after he beats alder he flies away never to be seen again.

Again, I am right
The simple truth is she isn’t the top champion of the Pokémon league Nemoma is and later if you beat her you are.
If Geeta was in Galar she would have been a scarier chairman.
She just organized her team wrong...
As soon as i noticed that Nemona beat her, i assume she was not going to be a hard challenge
Yeah her team SUCKED. Even if they just let Glimmora be first and Kingambit be her ace, she’d have been SO much better
THANK YOU FOR THIS, ive been saying that she's super off and weird and has an off-putting contrast to each character that she has dialogue
Geetas design is top notch, until I look at the hair. What is going on with it. Ruins it for me personally.
A Pokémon Champion that was the villain??? That would be amazing
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks she is a robot.
They don't reference it from what I remember, however there is a line Nemona had mentioning she has a sister 🤔
You'd think Nemona might mention it, but imagine living in her sister's shadow her whole life and meeting someone new who had no idea who Geeta is. Would she really bring her up at all? Or would she just down play her relationship to Geeta when she got caught talking to her? 🤔
Sadly, in the other localizations, she uses polite speech when adressing her. Like shes talking to an adult/her boss. "Usted" in spanish and "Sie" in german
Geeta is also referred to as "la primera" which translates to "the first"
Loved the video!! Got alot of videos to catch up on xD
Thanks! ☺️
With a team like that. It’s plausible.
Such a bad team!
2:24 Oh
That stuff hand was a giveaway
Um no? Geeta is 5 letters
Bro i swear Larry looks like he’s the real champion

So... a bit late... 99% sure she's not alive...

They should've had unknowns be in area zero lol
@@stonalisa3729 maybe the wish only granted her the title of Champion, but nothing else, explaining why her team is so awful, almost as if she just picked whatever mon she considered seemingly strong from each area of Paldea + Glimmora

She reminds me of a high level free mason cause the patterns on her hair and clothes plus the eye on her gloves . Plus sketchy behavior in the game .
I'm sure she will be the next "villain" in next DLC.
While I’m not sure if they’d take it that far, I just hope they do more with her. She’s so painfully bland imo
Does anyone else realize that her face and hair are perfectly symmetrical? I think this is another reason why her design is so off putting to me.
She’s…la PRIMERA. The first robot. Hmmmm it’ll be crazy if your theory comes to pass! Nice.
VOLO DID GIVE ME TRUST ISSUES 😭
Actually-honestly, my trust issues can be blamed on Beni
The lab assistant argument makes zero sense as the books also specifically mention the professor wanted "there to be 2 of them"
She also shows zero propensity or interests for any form of science
If anything it would make more sense that she was made later specifically as a "battle droid" as it would explain how the AI professor has access to the data of Paldea's past champions specifically, because Geeta administers the test to collect said data
She doesn’t even blink look closely at her when you battle her
Oooh. I didn’t even catch that. There’s sooooo more to her
I noticed yesterday when I re battled her at the school tournament she didn’t blink once but everyone else you battle does
Nice catch!
Geeta's eyes never sit right with me.
Also her legs are so freaking spindally and long, not natural looking at all.
Also yes, this is by far the weakest champion of all time, I beat her with 1 Pokemon (skeledirge)
Do you think this may have some reference to the Illuminati
🔺
When I saw the trailers I didn't like her. She was the easiest Champion I battled.

It was rather bad. You know it’s bad when someone makes Trace from Let’s go look like a strong champion 😂
thats why she is so easy to beat
Weakest champion we’ve ever had FOR SURE. Chick makes Trace look like Cynthia 😂
I Disagree With All Of This & If They Tell Us That Geeta’s A Robot In The DLC I’ll Be Really PISSED OFF ! 😕
Even if she’s not a robot, I feel we may learn more about her in dlc. Her character just seems to be such a mystery!
What if she a is the champion but he also a robot gain her own free will
maybe she is actually sada and turo’s daughter but she had her memory wiped and forgot everything but when she was young Sada gave her glimmet and she is described to be absent minded and als are not absent minded
But they are white and she is Indian
if she is AI then i guess she could look like anything
Indeed, somethings just _not right_ about a Champion using a Gogoat (lol, still can't get over it); using a Toxic Debris Pokemon _last_ - and yes while that is her 'Ace', wouldn't a proper Champion want to really ''test'' you by turning the tables a bit? She seems far too straightforwards, 'fake nice' & - _robotic._
Also, the obvious curiosity is that _why_ Would the Pokémon League (Her league as ''Top Champion'') be so close to Area Zero?
She’s stiff because she has 4 phds is pokeball throwing, give her a break
😂😂😂
Gamefreak design character animations so bland that fans have to speculate if a character is a robot or not.
Geeta weirded me out whenever she was on screen, just way too stiff and mechanical to be an organic person
Exactly!
Im pretty sure Geeta is AI
It's multiverse,I think the AIs are come from another universe.
Major flaw in the theory. The AI are stuck in Area Zero, drawing on Terastal Energy to survive, they can’t leave the lab so Geeta would not be able to move around at all.
Secondly, why would the professor make a Geeta bot, just to… get rid of it? That’s pretty pointless, and pretty big of a claim to just make when it could have just been the Professor AI that we already know exists.
that comment about calling back and giving a nod
makes no sence
as *every* trainer in Paldea does that
I think geeta and nemona are the same
more than meets the eye lol Geeta must be a prime
Most Champions, Gym Leaders and Elite Four in the Mangas were Genocidal Maniacs like Lance or were associated with Team Rocket and were bad to the bone....except Brock, Misty and Erika and later on Blaine. The Orange Island Staff were just as bad lol as it was in Johto.
Leon really has aged well now lol.
How did she get out ?
Same way Great Tusk/Iron Treads did I’d imagine. Or by using the warp panels in the research station (this would predate them being shut off). And I imagine her Glimmora is what allows her to stay powered outside of Area Zero
I see wut you did thar! Robots in disguise....but i dont think so?
well if she does turn out to be the big bad and final fight of the dlc, i hope she ditches the damn gogoat and veluza at least, like wtf was that team? She made Diantha look tough lmfao
Sooooo bad honestly
