O.k., I am back and I just finished using this method to clean 3 windows. I confirmed this method is EXCELLENT and it was "easy peasy". Took less than 5 minutes per window with minimal scrubbing. Windows are crystal clear now. This was the only method I found to get the stains off the glass. Wear gloves and safety glasses when handling toilet cleaner. Thanks!
Yes my sprinklers hit my windows leaving hard water spots. I am particular on the windows looking great so found your video, which I look forward to trying.
Yes, my windows in the back of my house get hard water deposits from the pool cleaner splashing on them . I have tried just about everything & nothing has worked up to now! Can’t wait to go home & try this! I know it’s weird to be excited about this, but it’s been so frustrating! Thank You 😊
I live in FL and between all the rain, the sprinklers, and the baking heat my hard water stains are brutal. I’ve tried everything, including toilet bowl cleaner, and nothing takes the hard water stains off. Short of using a razor blade, is there anything else you might recommend?! - Frustrated in FL! 🤷🏼♀️
After power washing season room the windows have thick streaks all over and won’t clean up. Are there chemicals from power washing that can ruin hour windows? I also have very hard water?
This works because of the 9.5% hydrochloric acid. I use a toilet boel cleaner also, but eith 9% sulfamic acid. Both are considered strong types of acid. You can also mix it t 50/50 or 25/75 with water in a spray bottle. I use this in the shower. Quick.spray and wipe every few weeks. Alternatively use fine grade brass wool pads
Just mix some citric acid and some dish soap in a bucket and wash your Windows. I really do Not understand why people need top use such hard chemicals for a Bit of Calcium builtup.
Today I tried soap, dish soap, window cleaning blue stuff, something specifically made for hard water stains, and my knife for the ceramic oven top… None of them worked, hence why I’m here. Sometimes it IS really difficult 😅
I just moved to Fl and my windows in front are disgusting from the sprinklers hitting them! They are old windows and I’ve tried CLR/ razor etc but am willing to give this a shot😊. I just wonder if there is anything I can use after they are clean to make a barrier so the hard water beads and runs off?
Ty for your video I have a house with 20 years of hardware buildup from the previous owner. I have tried razor blades, 3 different toilette bowl cleaners, steel wool. Nothing is working! I'm about to just buy new windows!!!!!
I noticed that I only have the hard water stains on the windows with screens. There is something about the screens that causes hard water stains. I tried removing them with soap and other cleaners but it's impossible. I confirmed that the toilet bowl cleaner contains HCl (hydrochloric acid) so be careful with it. I am going to wear safety glasses for sure

I would use Lime-A-Way Turbo Foam and a soft, non scrub sponge. Abrasive pads can scratch glass. It has happened to me ! Best regards.
I use the , Weiman cooktop stovetop cleaner kit. Works AMAZING!
Wonder if that will work on my brand new cookware set. New home has bad water and no funds to counteract my prob
Oh my word! I’m going to try this on my shower doors RIGHT NOW!

Tried it twice, same window...didn't work...at all. It appears some hard water stains are more stubborn that others.
Ty for your video

Sometimes that’s the answer…
Some of the bowl cleaner remained on my car and left streaks on my paint. Any advise on how to remove these streaks?
Be careful concerning fumes from product… lots of ventilation…
