I'm a brown man, son of immigrants from Chicago. My friends & family always thought I'm a 'gun nut'. Colion helped me break the thought of 'guns are for rural whites and urban blacks' mindset that Colion mentioned. Good on him.
Colion's videos made me unafraid and proud to be a black gun owner. I was born in one of the least free states, and my perception of guns was warped by the same thing as most black people. Only the gangsters and crooked cops have guns, and they magically bring doom to their owners. I eventually moved to a super free state. I bought a gun from a guy because he was going to sell it to one of two young adults who looked super irresponsible. Then i learned the laws. Took it out shooting and it jammed every other shot. Then my nerdy side kicked in, and i had to know how they worked. Took it apart, put it back together. Found the broken recoil spring, ordered a new one, and it was on from there. My parents thought it was unwise to be a black man with a gun, and i educated then on the laws. Found colion's videos around this time, and i started being more proud of it. Now i help recruit more people into the 2a community.
Not black, Hispanic, but awesome! The younger black generation deserve to know this side - it itself is American history if we look at the 14th amendment.
Thank you. Generally I consider color of pne’s skin irrelevant, but I suspect you are far better at spreading freedom in the minority community. The broader our base, the better we are able to prevent bad laws and continue training up future generations.
I can't speak to any race portion, but I get the nerdy side for sure. Grew up with guns, during and after school for a while stepped out of that world. Older work buddy got be back into it. I knew how guns were supposed to work, so I knew when it wasn't working right. I quickly became the guy that all my friends would ask to diagnose issues. 7/10 just need to be cleaned 🤦. But rusted or broken springs are next most common. It has become a passion. My shooting buddy would tell you as he told me "now you've got 'the bug'." 👍

HONEST MOMENT NOT FOR WEAK MINDED FOLKS! As a white country boy, I grew up only seeing black men and guns in a negative way. It wasn’t until serving in the SOF world with professional black men who were like minded, did I change my worldview. Now I don’t see black men with guns as a dangerous thing. I see a black man with a EDC now, I see a proud American who shares my worldview. It makes me proud. Let’s keep up these conversations because all men are created equal and equally we are to exercise our rights or we lose them.

You are a good example of a responsible gun owner. And you are a source of knowledge for the rest of us, both in the world of guns and in the world of gun laws and Constitutional rights. Bravo Colion. ❤🤍💙
Here's something that doesn't get talked a lot in regards to the 2A or get taught in schools and that is *sovereignty.* From chatGPT before it got extremely biased: When the Founding Fathers spoke of "the people could assert their sovereignty," they referred to the idea that the ultimate source of political authority and power in the new nation rested with the citizens. The concept of sovereignty in the context of the American Revolution and the creation of the United States was closely tied to the principles of popular sovereignty and self-governance. In the traditional European model of governance, power was concentrated in the hands of monarchs or ruling elites, who held authority by divine right or hereditary claims. However, the Founding Fathers rejected this notion and believed that political legitimacy came from the consent of the governed, not from any divine or inherited right. They embraced the idea of popular sovereignty, which asserted that the people, as a collective body, were the true source of political power. In other words, the government derived its legitimacy and authority from the will of the people it governed. The citizens, through their participation and representation in the democratic process, could shape the laws and institutions that governed their lives. This idea of sovereignty was deeply intertwined with the concept of individual rights and liberties, as the Founding Fathers sought to create a system that protected the rights of individuals while promoting the common good. The Second Amendment, as part of the Bill of Rights, was seen as a critical safeguard for maintaining the people's sovereignty. It recognized the right of the people to keep and bear arms, which was instrumental in empowering them to protect themselves, their families, and their communities. The ability of the people to be armed was not just about self-defense against criminals or foreign invaders but also about preserving the citizens' ability to resist any potential future government that might infringe upon their liberties. The Founding Fathers saw the armed citizenry as a check on potential abuses of power by the government, ensuring that the government would always be accountable to the people it governed. By having the means to defend themselves and their rights, the people could actively participate in shaping the course of the nation, thereby asserting their sovereignty in the political landscape. In conclusion, the notion of "the people could assert their sovereignty" meant that the power and authority of the government emanated from the consent of the governed. It emphasized the people's role as the ultimate decision-makers and highlighted their right to bear arms as a means to protect their liberties and participate actively in the governance of the new nation.
Unfortunately it's proving to be quite contradictive, an oxymoron to be the governed and to be the governing. I think a better description of our founding concept is that in wining our collective independence, we also won our individual independence (sovereignty). The basic idea was to creat an administrative government (not a ruling government) to protect our individuals AND collective natural birth rights as free humans upon this earth. In doing so, we delegated our sovereign powers (not surrender, nor forfeit) to the administrative body that can be withdrawn at any time for any reason. This is why it's ludicrous to say we're taking the law into our hands because it never left our hands! In reality our natural birth rights are property rights because our individual rights and freedoms are our individual property; not the property of government to bestow and withdraw at it's own pleasure. Our rights and freedoms are acknowledged in the constitution as preexisting and from God, not from government; and our rights includes, but not limited to the bill of rights. Due to intergenerational mind control via social engineering, we now have unquestioned regulatory tyranny. There's only one law, our rights. Everything else is just administrative policy and dose not carry the power of law, only the power to administrate the officials and employees within the administration. But now we live in a social construct where administrative policies via legalistic constructive fraud are enforced under the color of law. What we have now is what governments have always been throughout the world; a criminal enterprise that provides a service at the barrel of a gun just like any other crime syndicate. This is tyanny masquerading as servants ( they must take away our rights in order to protect our rights); in turn making everyone slaves (property) of government.
Our Government has expanded way beyond the original 18 enumerated powers, we absolutely need to return their power Back To The People! God Bless and God's Speed, 🥶 🧟♀️ 👐!😊
I really enjoyed this video. You are doing a great job showing there isn't just one stereotype. When I first saw your channel, the part that stood out was your passion for firearms AND being a lawyer. Seeing a lawyer actually like and have an interest in firearms outside of the court room legal sense was great.
Great episode. Colion has been the most influential pro 2a advocate for me. I grew up in big cities overseas in South East Asia, so i didn't grow up with guns as ownership was prohibited (although criminals had easy access to guns, as per usual anywhere). Colion's message and style resonated with me the most out of all the gun influencers and been following him for over a decade now.
I enjoyed this talk. When I first saw Colion's videos years ago, I didn't think, "let's listen to this black gun content creator," I just thought, "let's listen to this gun content creator." I appreciate how you guys give it straight. Keep up the awesome content.

Absolutely great show. I will say I'm with you Colion. Music for me is the same I don't look at it as face value. Never been in the streets or drugs side but it is highly motivational if looked at right.
From the moment Colion first started I always found myself gravitating to his videos and his intellect. He is solely responsible for helping with the mindset within society regarding firearms and i couldn't think of a better spokeman for the 2A community to have. For me in my house he is Colion, to my two daughters and wife, he's the Hot black gun dude. I also love Killer Mike's discussions on firearms. Especially when he starts hitting the history of the black community using them to protect their new Rights way back when. His story telling is captivating.

I remember back in the early days commenting a suggestion to review the sound level of each clip and Colion replied, thanking me for the suggestion. So cool!!!!
Been following Colion for quite awhile. He and other men like him not only turn some overly entrenched ideas on guns, culture and gun control on its head, they do so in a way that both connects with older men like myself and the younger generation. Keep up the great content.
You were one of the first guys I saw on video with the 2A motto. I have always loved your attitude and your respect for the 2A laws explaining things in a down to Earth common sense way that was easy to digest. I just watched your video on the Daniel H9. I'm in love!
Things the gatgrabblers need to hear: they support the origin, purpose, evolution and history of gc. That origin is dirty and disturbing, and it was effective for over 300 years, from 1680 through and beyond the Civil Rights movement of the 1950's/60's. I've done some legwork to share, or be inspired to do your own. It's effective and silences the gatgrabblers. When you silence the opposition, you get to control the narrative. This is powerful.
this was a great conversation! im so glad colion took the chance and broke that barrier and changed peoples perception of the 2A community showing anyone and everyones welcome.
I can't lie... I saw this was an interview and my ADHD mind almost said "nope", too long for me. But I gave it a chance and next thing I knew I was at the end. Very interesting and fun to listen to.
I was into helping people diagnose gun issues and helping them clean or helping them fix things (what to order, how to do the work) for a little while before I ran across some issues I wasn't familiar with. Enter RUclips. Gunsmithing and machining was my initial preferred content. Very quickly I saw some video suggestions for other guys like DemoRanch, The AK Guy, etc. I liked them, and still do, but I prefer content to educate, reviews, ways to improve, etc. I found some of your content soon after and fell in love with the format, the camera work, and the political aspect. The way you present actual data, your approach to making counter points to gun control arguments, your willingness to have those conversations, etc. was truely inspirational. You are the reason I started earning all the data points, stats, laws, etc. that I could. Now I'm educating friends about stats and how some laws may sound good or have good intent, but do not work how they should or could be a stepping stone to worse. Now I have even started to send letters to my Representatives with facts and data as well. Thank you for your content sir. Now you have introduced me to these other guys, I'm sure I will feel the same about them. Cheers!
This particular video has been so inspirational. Because as a 54 yr old Black man and prior service who's father also served, I still got this same reception past and present whenever I speak of weapons training and anything about guns. Smh
Wonderful discussion gentlemen. First time I have heard how Colion got started on this path. Enthusiasm born from that explosion in his hands many years ago. Truly fabulous.
Im sad this doesnt have more views! Ive never seen these other 2 guys before but they were so much fun! Kinda sad it was only an hour! Really hope we can get more of this!

You guys are awesome. I've been a subscriber to Collins channel for a long time. I'm definitely going to have to subscribe to gunsout now. We need more 2A creators out there. Massive respect.
I hope that Colion Noir understands that the fact he has had to change because of his gun advocacy, that he has to be more prudent, more responsible, more in control of his feelings and passions, more selective about the people he hangs out with and has relationships with... these are positives, not negatives. Discipline, restraint, self-control, thinking about the consequences of our actions, being composed are all good things. And it's okay to call out irresponsible/bad behavior, not to condemn people but to get them to think. There's nothing wrong with being a positive role model. God knows, the world needs more of them. Good interview, guys.
I’ll never forget when I first found colion. In high school. I said he has set the standard and image of success and dismantling the bad image of a black man with a gun!
Love your content because you are real, and push the responsibilities AND the rights. This was a very interesting look at the different thought process from a different perspective. I grew up in small town white blue class yet not pro firearm. Dad and brother are very anti 2nd and I am an outcast because I chose to embrace the 2nd. As different as our upbringing was it is so amazing just how much we truly have in common. Keep it up. Pass the love on!!
I have watched Colion for many years. I have always loved his content. I have never thought about what he has been through to carry. I guess I always thought he grew up in a home with guns.
Throughly enjoyed this interview. The insights, knowledge, experience.... extremely informative. Thank you gentlemen. A rising female guntuber Yoki Srurup, have been following her since 2,500 subs. She has is close to or has hit that million subs now. You guys, separately should consider doing a collaboration with Yoki to help expose her and her amazing content to an even larger audience. The community would benefit from the excellent content, amazing personality she brings to the 2A RUclips space.
I'm a 50 year-old asian woman who started shooting only a couple of years ago. I love Yoki! She really won me over with her hog hunts! On the surface girlfriend DOES NOT look like she would be in the 2A community, and that's what I absolutely love about her. She is a beast (shooting a Desert Eagle one handed no problem!).
I can relate to the personal restraint and being guarded about who you associate with out of the concerns of being targeted with false accusations by disgruntled people and have your rights suddenly denied and your property confiscated since the 90's.
30:28 this kinda hits home for me. I am white and have been into gun culture as a discipline since childhood, I train it as a martial skill. Anyway, when I love in a large city for a part of my early adulthood I was a bit of a hellion and stopped after a close call. I started carrying whenever I was outside the home and I went out only a few times with old friends and more than once, there was the makings of a good ol brawl and I find myself in the position of having to talk people out or just leaving my friends to fend for themselves. This was very hard for me at the time, but I had to stop hanging out with most of them.. Forgot to add: I am glad to see the success of both your channels.
Very educational! I am glad you are doing what you are doing. You and i are from different backgrounds. We have the same mindset about certain things. I will look up these other men.
I am an enthusiastic 54! I watch your videos on a regular basis. I was raised in Texas, lived in many states, and other countries. Two states were Arkansas and Mississippi. Dark skinned people hunted and fished, and went to shooting ranges, in the rural communities I was in. Keep shooting, and producing good content.
I also grew up in Texas. I went hunting and shooting with Black friends about as often as White and Hispanic friends. It wasn’t until I started working near Houston that I ever had an inkling about the stereotypes mentioned here.
I really enjoyed this longer video, and now going to check out more Guns Out as well. Keep doing what you are doing, keep innovating like you have, and we'll keep watching. Since knowledge is power, we all get stronger. :)

I'm a brown man, son of immigrants from Chicago. My friends & family always thought I'm a 'gun nut'. Colion helped me break the thought of 'guns are for rural whites and urban blacks' mindset that Colion mentioned.
Good on him.
You are an inspiration and role model for gun owners regardless of ethnicity. Props to you sir. Enjoy the content of your videos
Facts, me too !!!
I'm a Black man from NY city and on this show are the 3 first black gun educators I ever watched when I found out that I was interested in guns. Didn't know when ya'll would link up but man I loved this conversation. I actually think you guys are on to something here and like you said she do a series to help promote gun ownership, education, and advocacy in our community. This was a fantastic conversation
I always enjoy listening to Colion talk with people. There's a lot of honesty
Colion is a great spokesperson for our Rights. Very inspirational.
3 smart men having a class act conversation.
Priceless.
We need more honest uncomfortable truths all around from whatever perspective or background you come from

Colion, if it wasn’t evident to you already, you have an international audience now. Thanks from a Costa Rica law abiding gun owner. Keep it up brother.
I'm a 69 year old veteran. I'm white with a half black SIL. I have two Korean kids. All are responsible gun owners. Ethnicity doesn't matter at all. Intelligence is what matters. All are very intelligent with very good jobs.
I am an old white man and an NRA instructor, and I refer many students to your work. Not just the black students but all my students. When I show it to a black student, they look at me a give me a look like the only reason you are showing this to me is because I am black. This can't be further from the truth, you are exalent. Please keep up the great work. You are an excellent spokesman for firearms who just happens to be black. 👍👍👍
I have a degree in criminal justice working on my masters and I watch your channel all the time keep up the good work 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿
I'm a gun instructor and I love sharing you videos and your message to my srudents ❤
As always I appreciate what you do for gun owners/2A advocates. Thank you sir
As a 21 yr old black gun owner we def have to get rid of the stereotypes hopefully too cops stop stereotyping us ! I really look up to u and appreciate everything you do for the 2A community and the black community brother !🫡👏👏
You will always be looked at with a sideways eye by police so long as your community as a whole is the biggest culprit of violent crimes. Only advice is advocate to change your community's ways and stay peaceful and calm with police. Hope your future is bright and positive.
The start to your story hasn't changed, that's why I know you're authentic. You're the man!!! "RESPECT" is what you deserve
I appreciate your work man coming from a young black man myself with dreads from Houston, Tx. I’ve recently become a CCHDF instructor to teach people safety of course and what comes with carrying the steel, good and bad. None of my friends are the same page yet but I’m there for them be their “gun guy”. I’ve built a psa Ar from stripped Lower and definitely felt the need to get my gunsmith cert soon. Honestly despite the next community and their opportunities they have a lot have knowledge and I’ve become appreciative. I wouldn’t call myself a shooter but I think I could hold my own (only been to inside ranges) I don’t want to sound like I know everything I’m only 3 years into this and I’m loving every minute I hope to get myself out there and out my shell this year.
I’m glad I found you 10 years ago when I came across your earlier videos. It was refreshing to see someone who was a person of color advocate responsible firearm ownership and advocating for 2A rights.
Thanks for everything you do and for this post I just wanted to share that I work for a gun manufacturer in az and I was the 2nd person you shook hands with at the meet and greet when you visited. At the time all I had seen of you was on Joe rogans show so I didn't have much to talk about but I subscribed right after and have seen a lot of your stuff. I'm a white girl and never knew that you were a pioneer. I never noticed there weren't many other black guys doing what you do. Maybe I'm naive or sheltered but it just makes me see how lucky I am by learning about guns and the 2A movement from you. Thank you!
You are a good example of a responsible gun owner. And you are a source of knowledge for the rest of us, both in the world of guns and in the world of gun laws and Constitutional rights. Bravo Colion. ❤🤍💙
Hes a major voice for our community! Thanks, Colion!
Here's something that doesn't get talked a lot in regards to the 2A or get taught in schools and that is *sovereignty.* From chatGPT before it got extremely biased:
When the Founding Fathers spoke of "the people could assert their sovereignty," they referred to the idea that the ultimate source of political authority and power in the new nation rested with the citizens.
We are endowed with the right to self-defense from our creator. Our rights come from God.
Our Government has expanded way beyond the original 18 enumerated powers, we absolutely need to return their power Back To The People! God Bless and God's Speed, 🥶 🧟♀️ 👐!😊
Very clearly stated with factual basis without the drama of politics. 18:11 18:19
I really enjoyed this video. You are doing a great job showing there isn't just one stereotype. When I first saw your channel, the part that stood out was your passion for firearms AND being a lawyer. Seeing a lawyer actually like and have an interest in firearms outside of the court room legal sense was great.
Duuuuuuuude!
CN's videos always hit me really hard and I couldn't quite put my finger on why.
Top Gear!
It now makes perfect sense.
Brilliant
Colion, I absolutely have total respect for you and your style with the vids you do. Allot of great shooting content with brains to back it. Keep on doin what you do brother, I started shooting over 50 years ago, every aspect from competition, instructor, private bodyguard, gunsmith work etc. I really like the “matter of fact” aspect of your weapon reviews.
Why do members of your militia kill each other’s children in schools?
This is a truly great conversation - one that’s so friggin’ ESSENTIAL. Thanks to you gents for sharing it with everyone! One of the best things about an interview like this is how it addresses multiple factors & layers. Not only that, but I gotta say that I have admired Colion for a few years since I discovered his content - AND these guys interviewing him are FANTASTIC and this discussion spreads so many good and true things about and within all those layers. EXCELLENT
I am already excited just at the thought of this trio doing a reoccurring podcast together!!
This has been one of my favorite shows of all times!!!!
Guys,
Thank you for what you do!!!
Thanks!
I wish the best for all of you gentlemen and resounding success and the support when you need it. You aren't alone in this journey. Keep guiding and educate more people as you go and you shall see the fruits of your labors.
Colion you're like my hero man. I'm Puerto Rican. A lot of those thug stereotypes amd the ways you think about them and handled them really resonated with me. I'm in college and studying Criminal Justice. I love basketball, Cars, Guns and family(and Batman). I'm extremely introverted and I look to you fr you are a strong and intelligent individual props to you man
Any interview with Colion is fascinating and articulating.
Man im so glad you have the tight circle of friends that have your back and understand the place you are coming from and the crucially important work you do. Because your voice is important in the 2A community. For people from ALL walks of life.
Great video, all of you guys are very inspirational. Hope you all keep the groove going.
If anyone needs to hear the discussion about gun ownership, it’s defiantly “young black males”, specifically “urban”. Thank you for your service.
@@AGFrontYT it's just too apparent once one realizes it was always about keeping guns out of the hands of "minorities."

I can't lie... I saw this was an interview and my ADHD mind almost said "nope", too long for me. But I gave it a chance and next thing I knew I was at the end. Very interesting and fun to listen to.
I really enjoyed this discussion,as a black man being apart of the 2a community, i can totally relate to this!!
Really appreciate the insight to the lives of all three of you... So much respect.
Cheers!
Loved this. Loved hearing the story.

This was a very interesting look at the different thought process from a different perspective.

On the surface girlfriend DOES NOT look like she would be in the 2A community, and that's what I absolutely love about her. She is a beast (shooting a Desert Eagle one handed no problem!).
I’ve been waiting on this for a while …💯
I can relate to the personal restraint and being guarded about who you associate with out of the concerns of being targeted with false accusations by disgruntled people and have your rights suddenly denied and your property confiscated since the 90's.
I thought your guns gave you rights and prevented tyranny?
@@anonymous.anonymity. Lol, it's never that simplistic.

Great session, great content guys. You all have something special. Keep up the good work!

Really appreciate all you do. John and Shermichael too.
