    Hi!
    Welcome back to my channel. Today's video is on how I toned my hair from brass to ashy at home. This is such an easy method since you don't need to mix a toner with a developer. I simply just used the Fanola Shampoo and that's it! I haven't toned my hair in a few months so it definitely was getting too brassy and this helped bring back the ashy tones I love in my hair. I hope you find this DIY helpful! Thanks for watching. xo

    I actually think golden/caramel hair suits your skin undertone better, but you look beautiful anyway

      Hi love! This purple shampoo is definitely stronger than any other one I've tried. Yes! I find it easier to apply if it's diluted a bit ❤️

    Love your color. Did u bleach it also? Or did someone at the salon bleach it?? Asking bc my hair is turning gold. Thinking about just doing it myself. But I want it a little lighter.

    Your hair looks really good. Do you feel that the shampoo damages your hair less than with a toner?

    • @ParmidaRobateau
      @ParmidaRobateau  7 лет назад

      +karly tomson no problem! Yeah maybe try mixing it with your conditioner and applying it how I did. Coconut oil is great for dry hair, I try to leave it in my hair a few hours every week :)

    Hello, so I'm trying to save myself $40 from going to my hair stylist and toning my hair for this weekend coming up and I've been looking at different videos on RUclips and I came across this video and the other one where you use the Wella toner. I see that this Fanola No Yellow Shampoo is an easier alternative compared to the Wella toner, so I'm deciding to buy the Shampoo instead and well I had a few questions for you before I proceed. Do you think that if you would have left the shampoo in for 5 minutes compared to the 1 minute that you left it in, would your hair have turned out a little lighter? I personally do not want to go any lighter I just want to remove the brassiness in my hair and add that ashy color to my hair, but keep the top of my hair dark. So would I apply it to all of my hair or to the bottom half of my hair? I do have a an ombre balayage, if that helps. I want my hair to look nice this Saturday, so when do you think I should apply the Shampoo? Can I apply it two times this week or is it better to just apply it once? Thank you in advance! Your videos are of great help! :)

    • @ParmidaRobateau
      @ParmidaRobateau  6 лет назад

      +Crystal Valencia hi! The shampoo shouldn’t make your hair go lighter, just tone the brassy bits. I think if I left it in my hair longer than a minute, it would’ve been more ashy for sure. This shampoo is very strong, so I would highly recommend diluting it with a conditioner and keeping an eye on your hair while it’s processing. I personally think once was enough for me, but everyone’s hair reacts different! Hope that helped 💕

    Do you have to keep using purple shampoo to maintain the color? I’ve left purple shampoo on my hair for about 30 or so minutes (twice now) and it still keeps going back to yellow :( any advice would be helpful!

    • @ParmidaRobateau
      @ParmidaRobateau  6 лет назад

      This one is really strong so for me the results last a while. I’ve used other regular purple shampoos, and you definitely have to keep up with it. 💕

    Okay I just got my hair done and it's very yellow. Would you recommend I go get the Wella toner or this shampoo???

    • @ParmidaRobateau
      @ParmidaRobateau  7 лет назад +1

      if it's super yellow I would go with the Wella toner route. This shampoo is strong too but I personally would want to fully tone it first then use this shampoo to maintain the ashy tones. Hope that helps! :)

    • @ParmidaRobateau
      @ParmidaRobateau  4 года назад

      No, the only thing I used was the shampoo. This specific purple shampoo is highly concentrated, and if I left it on for anything longer than that, my highlights would’ve had a purple tone to it.
