      That atmosphere at that arena was unmatched chase Center is nice but it’s not the same as oracle was atmosphere wise

    The Arena is the best place to watch a show in this entire region. So, happy it will be the center of the complex

      I disagree. I've seen several bands there and those shows were great. Really it's a sound engineers job to produce a quality sound in each band/artists performance.

    Keep Oakland Arena, continue using the Malibu lot as a soccer-specific stadium for the Roots and Soul, tear down the Coliseum for a baseball-only facility for the Ballers, and build housing and a park surrounding those venues.

    Build a new stadium next to it. Then demolish the original and get a new team for Oakland. The location is great, easy to get to and leave.

      That idea was proposed in the 2000s, but Oakland City said no. They didn't want to help pay for a new stadium in the same spot.

    It's not the stadiums it's the city. Oakland is a crime ridden town too dangerous to go to your car. Could get stolen. You could be mugged or murdered. It's not the stadium's fault. I too left Oakland. Now I live in Texas which is far safer than being in Oakland

    Been going to the Oakland coliseum arena since the early 70's. When the Warriors won the NBA title in 75 with Rick Barry, and went to lots of Roller Derby matches in the 70's. Saw the Californian Golden Seals hockey team play there, along with lots of good concerts. Parliment funkadelicks, Boston, Scorpions, and Cheap Trick!!!! 🎸

    That stadium needed torn down 20 years ago total shame for the people of Oakland to lose three franchisees they needed to have the law that Cleveland has for Armadale moving the team to Baltimore. They keep the team in Oakland.

    Amazing that the arena is still doing well even after SF got Chase Center. Coliseum City would have been awesome with all 3 teams getting new digs. Only the Raiders were interested.

    I think we should bring a Shady Maple Smorgasboard to Oakland. It might look good on the Coliseum site. If you build housing and retail, it will do well in that area. Shady Maple Smorgasbord is the largest buffet in America.
