We all do. It’s 2024 and they still haven’t done this again. No playoff commercials like the Kobe bron puppet commercials anymore either. These were great. Always wondered why they stopped.

B Hicks They didn't show Rockets era in NBA finals where they reach 2 times and won it in 1994 and 1995 too instead of Bulls.
What I liked about this is if you watch, they show every great teams' victories revolved around one player. Bird with the Cs, Magic with the Lakers, Jordan with the Bulls. But when it came time to show the Pistons it was the whole starting line up walking the court. The epítome of team. The Bad Boys were the most feared team of all time. Isaiah may have been the star but even he knew what each individual meant to their success. I never get tired of watching that certain clip.
They could have shown the 1991 Pistons walking off the court in the Eastern Conference finals before the game ended.

This is an amazing NBA finals intro! It has a great mix of recent teams and historic teams. The special effects are great. I’m not a Spurs fan but I do like that they added Duncan at the end because the Spurs won the 2014 championship and this was the 2015 championship.

without a doubt, one of the best nba finals intros ever! in fact, i even predicted it (cavs vs warriors for the nba finals). both glad, and sad, that the warriors won. glad, because i was rootin for them (in game 7 instead of 6), but sad, because, at the same time, i felt like cleveland would've done a better job at defending their title instead.

I actually like the song because The Roots are quality artists that give quality music unlike a lot of these folks you hear on the radio now; this is a hip-hop band. I mean, come on, they're the band for "The Tonight Show." The most popular late night show on TV. They could've used The Roots song as an intro for the pregame show because it's the theme song for The Finals and still used this intro too.

They should legit play this every year, but include the highlights of all the years. For example, if they were to play this intro now, they would Lebron’s block and the Cavs hoisting the trophy, followed by highlights of the Warrior’s dynasty and back-to-back championships, before ending it with the Raptors celebrating the championship. Then, the screen opens up showing the two competitors with the Finals trophy in the middle. They should routinely update this trailer year-by-year and play it before the start of the series
