MCC gives you modern aiming settings where you can move the sticks in a true diagonal line as opposed to the staircase type diagonal of the OG games. So it is easier to aim for sure. Plus playing on monitors with 1ms input delay at 120fps makes things very, very different than playing on an OG Xbox on a tube tv haha

Such a great project, but I just wish XEMU (and Xbox emulators in general) got supported enough for it to be a good option. Unfortunately, no one cares to work on Xbox emulators to make them as good as they should be

@@geraltofrivia4651 "feels better" cuz it's fake, much easier version, the lighting makes everything visible on every map and the hitboxes are way bigger than normal, it's a noob friendly version of halo 2

The input lag is much worse on MCC, you need to play on original hardware. It's extremely responsive. Wired controllers will always have better input lag than Bluetooth anything, and who knows how much emulating is adding lag it really depends on your PC setup, but modern games have compensation systems in place to hide the input lag with Bluetooth somewhat sort of like aim compensation but in this case it's lag compensation but in the wired controller days it was just raw immediate no delay. Now the original FPS is locked to 30 (except when there are too many explosions it will drop then) so that may be what you are noticing.
Oh, you're not using a Retro Fighters Hunter controller are you? Just picked those up and the input lag and inaccurate sticks is pretty disappointing. I still need to contact their support and see if there's a firmware update.

the emulator supports it afaik, but I didnt try it
ive tried it and it uses keyboard keys for moving, shooting, reloading, switching weapons, etc., and for example, A on your keyboard is jump.
