Howdy from the US, great videos and explanation. You Aussie’s are doing a great job showing how to build a tough but reliable and practical, that’s hard to find that right combo, but y’all definitely know your stuff. Thanks
You prolly dont care at all but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Avi Muhammad Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi ive got a 2inch lift done a while back and was driving like a dream recently installed a bullbar and winch and hadto replace the front springs to suit the weight after that as soon as i hit about 90-100ks on the highway my steering wheel shakes like crazy ive done a wheel balance and alignment and still have the same issue im going nuts
Heya mate I have a 2000 ifs hilux and I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to get a 2 inch lift with causing the least wear and being able to fit 33 inch tyres
Wouldnt adjustable uca’s just provide another weak point to move on the track? And also if you are paying $100 say per wheel alignment. If you go out 10 weekends in a row, theres $1000 on wheel alignments. Why not just buy 2 new tyres every 6 months instead. Probably cheaper that way.
Hey guys I have a Volkswagen Amarok 2018 just did a 2 inch lift and was wondering I cannot get upper control arms that are adjustable ( disappointing) for this vehicle so I was wondering getting new Upper control arms that I find call Blackhawk necessary or will the ones that I’ve already got on the car still okay with my new 2 inch lift, also I will be going up in size of tire to thirty-threes or just under 33s.
Thanks for the vid! I just saw this now as I’m an avid fan of 4WD action and love seeing the Fulcrum suspension Hilux going crazy on the tracks! I am actually considering a 2 inch lift on my Hilux as well, just curious on how a 2 inch lift could possibly affect other components since on an IFS, the components (cv, ball joints, tie rod) would be sitting at a higher angle than stock. Is a 2 inch lift safe in the long run without replacing anything else (probably aside from the upper control arm as I might have those replaced as well for better alignment)?
Could I do 40x13.5 on ifs front ends , it’s a f 150 2014 and I would be mostly on the highways not off-roading that much . Am I safe to pull the trigger ?

@Avi Muhammad it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out !
@Korbyn Jamison Glad I could help :D
I don´t understand why this awesome video doesn´t have more views.
It's because it's not posted by 4wd 2/47. They posted the same vid got way more views. So it did
Because motor mouth Graham is in the video. 👍
All I hear are dollars upon dollars upon dollars.
Hey lads
Can u adjust the height of the front end of a Hylux at home Not a lift kit just raise the front as they just seem to sag 🤷♂️cheers
I did everything you guys said so why is my truck moves side to side in the back

Head into one of our workshops to get a free suspension check and we can diagnose the issue.
The title mentions IFS yet you did not talk about it?

How much $$$ are fulcrum paying you graham?
Hey I am from New Zealand I got a 2019 Isuzu d max and I want to get 33 underneath it and how high should I go

Correct. This style can and do move particularly on N70 / N80 Hilux.

dont do it..sell it & buy something with a solid axle..IFS is rubbish..
you should do s,s brakelines too..all round..
if,that IFS geometry is correct from factory, the tire should stay neutral.level.moving effects your steering.
I’ve just purchase an 2014 Colorado and wanting to put 33s on, what kind of lift kit am I looking at to run 33s
You might be able to squeeze 33's under the Collie with our 2" Formula lift kit, although some inner wheel arch cutting may be needed.

You'll be putting huge stress on components but it can be done!
How would u do a 2 inch lift on an IFS vehicle? Do u need to change stuff other than the suspension and adjusting the camber ?
diff drop to correct cv joint angles
yes, but,,you gain nothing from lifting an IFS,,you actually lose travel & safety..sas will fix problem,..what is sas,??..solid axle swap.
Tyre clearance
Does a 200 series with 2 inch lift need an adjustable panhard for the rear?
