Field Work: At the Panel (Mircom FX-2000)

Well guys, the time has finally come. I'm now working as a full-time fire alarm technician! This is the first of many videos. In this video, we're just testing several smoke detectors connected to the elevators at two condo buildings. I'm at the panel this time. Enjoy!

Welcome to the field lol. I've been a helper for about 10 months but they're movin me up to be a foreman on the construction side, but we also take over some service calls as well. I'm definitely gonna be moving over to service. Not a fan of construction but it was good to get an understanding of everything from the ground up!

Bells were turned off through the signal bypass switch.

You're correct. They were bypassed because the annual was done a while ago.
