Come on pull it
I do now haha. I was still new to the industry at the time.
@ ok
Do the ducts when they are in alarm, intiate supervisorys or alarms..? and also what does it say on the facp when it is activated does it say for example Mechanical Room Duct#9 Supervisory or vise versa with alarm
I'm in Canada, and by code all of our duct smokes are required to initiate alarms. These ones were labeled as the room number, fan unit number, then supply or return. For example "B049 AHU-3 SUPPLY AIR".
It took forever between the LED going solid and the horns sounding
Just how smartsync works, when the LED was lit it was activated at the panel but the Smartsync is what delays the horn/strobes.
Simplex = 🗑️
@@Twentythree33 indeed
I love simplex!
I certainly don't. They cause so many headaches for me as a tech, but they do have some cool features.
Nice video!
Dun dun dun dun dun dun
I actually know what song that comes from now.
In my opinion: Simplex products (if programed properly and not on a buggy firmware): 👍👍👍 Simplex Service and JCI’s practices:👎👎👎 That’s why Autocall is becoming so common (at least here in the US). It’s just Simplex products without dealing with JCI’s service or prices.
Love the music in the background that’s why we waiting waiting waiting on the world to change love it
Why is the area where you pulled the alarm fenced off?
Staff-only portion of the arena.
YAY THE GOOD EST PANEL
YAY GOOD PANEL AND YAY BELL
YAY NOTIFIER
This place is more backrooms than the backrooms!
Full alarm not half or quarter alarm, FULL ALARM!
Oooooooohhhhhhhhh *shiver, shiver*
World Trade Center Vibes yo
cc 206 bell?
Not too sure.
They ain’t bad with AirPods in. At least that’s what I do
I always have earbuds in when working and alarms are definitely more bearable.
i like how these pull stations are quite common in america but uncommon around canada
They're pretty common here tbh. At least in my area.
Well I’m from Ontario it’s pretty much uncommon in my area
Cool 😎

Canadian LED annunciator very nice!
Hell yeah! 320 better tho.
How the Hell do you get all these fucking panels lmao? 😭 Like genuine question.
He is a tech so probably from his work.
@@stopmotionbymg1221ohh I see… Thanks.
I'm a fire alarm tech, and my friend is a fire alarm tech. We both keep anything we take out and have one big collection that we both share. Plus my former boss at my old company keeps stuff for me.
@@Twentythree33 ahh okay that’s rly cool, thanks.. Question for you, my main goal in life is to be a firefighter, BUT alarms are something I REALLY wanna get into.. did it take like a whole long college degree and university degree and all this other stuff to get a job at an fire alarm electrical places?
Sorry for the late reply! If you're in Canada you have to take what's called CFAA courses. If you can, try to apply to be a junior fire alarm technician. That's what I am currently. I don't have my courses completed, but I always work under another tech. As part of this, all my CFAA courses are covered by the company. Hope this helps!
What’s strange about? I’ve ran into several like this
Almost all EST3s I work on have the usual "whiny" piezo.
Schindler 3300 with incredibly rare indicator
You're a 3300 with an incredibly rare indicator.
Recently seen one of these in person at a brand new apartment block I did fire alarm work for. I was the one who programmed all the alarm relays for the elevator recall, shunt, and flashing hat.
Oh nice! What panel?
@@Twentythree33EST iO1000
YAY WE LIKE THAT PANEL HERE
YES WE DO!
Awesome
Pretty nice elevator! Thanks for watching!
VERY nice!
Thanks!
Great video TwentyThree33
SPSRL’s. More like SPSBL’s
Jesus Christ how many of those school nightmares am I gonna keep coming across
Why was the alarm still going off?
Love me a good Mircom system, I wish they were more common in the US, specifically down here in the south lol. Great video! I have a Pyrotronics bell that's the same size, even the logo looks similar.
Yay! Loud.
This is the 1st time ive seen a mircom & wheelock strobe combo
I wonder if its Mircom rebrand.
The strobe plate is Wheelock branded, and this unit was a deficiency replacement. The other devices were Simplex bells on Wheelock strobe plates. I was gonna use those but the screws were too rusty.
Random question i have a feeling this is one of my local arenas is this one near the place of belltest 7 and across from the train station?
Nope. This one's at the opposite end of the city.
@Twentythree33 Crazy the one I'm talking about was renovated at around the same time.
Yep. Had some issues with that one too.
0:24
2:34 Should Have The Tone Changed To Temporal Code 3 Because Temporal 3000 Hertz Code 3 Won't Pass Code
It's still doing temporal so it's not a deficiency. Plus this building is empty, and it's not like ants or mice are gonna evacuate during an emergency.
1:38 System Sensor L Series P2RL
1:27 Not Working Needs Replaced
The k5hl third gens remind me of my childhood cause I live so close to the tracks and hear them so much. Nice catch!
I saw that at the broad in Los Angeles
Where is it as
0:05 Very unusual bell guard
TrueAlerts are scary but Advances are no joke
every single one i see sounds like that lol. EST-4 is probably worse with the piezo. (im sodiuminduction_hv on my alt becuz my google account is being sped.)
Well would you look at that! My public bathroom nightmare came true
I actually have a video of this device going off lol. I'll upload it soon
You can just switch activate it.
I only prefer Simplex and EST
I respect your opinion, but if you do end up getting into the field and working on those systems, you'll find that Simplex and Edwards cause a lot of headaches. They're cool systems though, no doubt.
@@Twentythree33 The systems I would be getting would be a Simplex 4004 and an EST3
EST3s are proprietary so you won't be able to do anything with them. The QuickStart is able to be programmed with publicly available software and has most of the EST3's features, so I'd recommend getting one instead.
What were the alarms in the arena
Simplex 4906-9129s (TrueAlerts). My Short titled "TrueAlerts are loud" was filmed in the same building.
