- This is part #1 as I have a lot to edit for part 2. This is a facility originally built in the 1940s. The system was upgraded in the early 2010s, and is a 6-node Siemens FireFinder XLS. As you can see we had some issues with the two-stage as we didn't know the sequence of operations. Part 2 will show the system working properly. Hope you enjoy!

For some reason this reminds me of the emergency alarm you'd hear at the start of a cruise when they do that assembly drill or whatever it's called
one of my favorite tones for voice evac. I love Siemens
Agreed! Siemens is great.
The residence building I'm staying at (for both the fall and winter semesters), at the college I've applied to, has the same two-stage setup as this healthcare facility does. The system in the residence building is an EST system [ there's one ADA suite with strobe lights]; while the rest of the system has the two-stage 270 SPO pull stations and the ceiling mount speakers. Both in the dorm rooms and in the hallways on the 8 floors.
Nice 2 stage system that’s just awesome plus how long does the system take to go into full alarm
It's a very nice system! This one has a 5 minute timer, which is pretty standard.
@@Twentythree33 i also noticed there was a keyswitch on the pull station if i'm correct would that be for full alarm
You'd be correct!
That's correct yes.
the most frightening this to me was the water leaks
What was the loud horn at the one point in the video?
That was an HVAC unit. The audio was lagging which is why it sounded sudden.
Deafening XD
XD
ive been there before
i saw a racist strobe
