so were the early 80's (as shown in the documentary The Warrior) and mid 80's (look at the documentary series Death Wish). so wild and violent, VICE never made any documentary about this period of time.
What a great coincidence... just a few days ago, I discovered a music called Instand Remedy - Last Ninja: The Palace, which turned out to be a 2002 remix of a music from this video game... I tried to find a version of someone playing it and if possible, no comments, but the vast majority of them looked very poor quality... and you just uploaded a good amount of this game just 2 days ago... I can't believe THIS IS FROM 1987! And believe me that this (and 2) are much better than most of the current games (not all of them of course, there are also good new or at least recent games) that many times are generic and boring because they are not made with passion and soul true as before, and this one, however, surpasses them for the simple fact of being entertaining and original (see mechanics and gameplay, not to mention good music, as those are rare even for the time it came out). Quality games like that are no longer made or at least not as original and entertaining as the 80's and 90's (also early 2000's). I guess it really was ANOTHER TIME and creativity went hand in hand with the problems and challenges of each type of console or video game system, they managed to make something unique... even if it wasn't as good or they weren't as popular.
Don't show this to the avgn, he'll get mad that you can walk on the water.
"Last Ninja, you bojo, you can't walk on water! UNLESS YOU GOT POWER!"
7:48 HE JUST KICKED THE LAST GUY INTO THE NUTS IN THE FINAL BATTLE LOL 😂
From webpage
"We actually execute only one offensive move in the game, and it's to kick the final boss right in his kunitokis.!"
And without shurikens... How come? 😱
@@shimo_retro_gameplays6288 taser explains there's exactly one glitch that allows hit ghost ninja if you don't get the shurikens.
@@fonduestardian A-ha, i see, thanks for replying
My favorite part about this game, besides the music, is the fact that your health is displayed as "POWER!".
"Last Ninja, you bojo, those boats don't work on water! UNLESS YOU GOT POWER!"
It wouldn't be believable at all if there was no exclamation point.
So long as he's been banished to "another place" and not this place we're good
New York in the early 90s was buck wild!

I'm still dumbfounded how well they rebuilt after Air Force One crashed down in '97 . That place was like a prison!

You know things are getting serious when a mime starts hurling milk bottles at you.

Okay, I was gonna say how bad this game was and how much it was pissing me off until he set the alligator on fire.
Awesome TAS!!
Love the Music of this game ♥
The C64 one (Last Ninja 2) is a lot better imo
Technically, the "Last Ninja" would've been the one after he lost all of his lives except for the last one.
The Sixth Ninja
back when they made it hard because they couldn't make it long
that's what she said
An overweight dude in black spandex, sweat pants, grey boots and a ski mask running around and picking up oddly placed keys is hardly a "ninja".
All the real ninjas are gone, that was the best thing they had left.
Did you see how he lit those candles and that guy exploded?
@@vaiyt These are dark times, my friend.
Did someone made a TAS of the Amiga or Atari ST version of this game ?
Not a half bad looking port.
C64 music is far superior.
So ninjas' only weaknesses are bees and steam. Duly noted.
Hey, I think you're on to something!
I bet this was called "very realistic" back in the days
honestly it's not too shabby looking even today! good sprites and consistently realized environments.
Everything in his world are hating and trying attacking him xD
This is the worst Ninja ever; he gets seen by everyone.
I have the commodore 64 version on Wii.
Yo, first try river jump pog!
If no one else is going to say anything about the juggling clown throwing bottles at ninjas then I will. It’s 2024, stop clown on ninja crime now.
