The '80s were such a great decade to grow up in. Everything was new. From fashion to movies to music, etc. etc. all was kick ass! Punk rock, New wave, even pop was great. Skateboards got wider, mullets, unfortunately became a fad, rollerskating rinks, MTV had new videos for every new song, with no bullshit reality shows, thank God. Remember the first video on MTV? "Video killed the radio star". Seems like most people, younger than my old ass, think it was "Money for nothing" because it starts with, "I want my MTV". I'm rambling on, so Gen X was and is the best generation for everything!!!!!!!

Yes! I loved the 70s. Yet I felt at the time the late 60s and early 70s were the best. They still are! Yet in retrospect, that sound of the 80s cannot be bested! :-)

      It wasn't just her voice..
      she was something special.
There was this guy John that met her and he fell head over heels in love.
Of course Ronnie literally belonged to Phil Specter at the time. So it was over before it started. John was sad and decided to go "all in" when he met a conceptual artist in London several months later. The young artist's name was Yoko.
      Yoko Ono.
      The rest is history.

This song never gets old. This is Money’s greatest hit. The Music Video says it all. I love the build up of Ronnie in the silhouette as you only hear her voice. When she shows up, it is a highlight that she is still as beautiful as she was 30 some years ago then in 1986.
RIP to both Eddie and Ronnie. You may still be gone but you will always be missed.

I am a woman, but I love how Ronnie shines through the darkness and is highlighted in this song in a beautiful silhouette. Eddie looks hot, and I always love him and his voice. Eddie had much musical talent, (God I love him playing saxophone) and I love all of the songs, and I love this duet!❤️
